I can show her a picture and she gets it immediately, every time. After 15 years of doing my own roots, I finally trusted Maria to take over and help me start embracing my grays. She walked me through different options and put together a plan to actually work with them, which made me feel really excited about what's to come. This pic is from my most recent cut and color and I seriously love it. Bonus: her assistant Tobi is the sweetest and gives the best shampoo massages. The space is gorgeous and just a really lovely place to go with great conversation and genuinely kind people. Highly recommend Maria

Alright - There's awesome... and then there's Christina…read more(Owner) and Pharmis. BOTH savvy, warm, kind, super experienced, and GOT my hair immediately. My first visit was with Pharmis - greeted me warmly, then hit right down to the business of beautifying... One hour later: conditioned, trimmed, and an awesome blow out that STILL looks good 2 days later! Another perk: she stays later than most stylists - allowing those of us with day jobs, or in need of more than a few hours to do errands on Sundays - to still get in an appointment for the weekend. My second visit was with the owner, and she was equally awesome - had some great suggestions, took my own input about my blowout, and we scheduled for an upcoming appointment to help write in my highlights. Can't wait. The Salon itself is very pretty, very clean, and (another blessing!) has designated parking RIGHT BEHIND its back door- in this part of Studio City, without that - you'd circle endlessly for a spot. 3 cheers for Luxe Parlor Salon- a definite must if you're searching for a new Salon to call home.

Can post previous texts I got from them for her. They refused to rebook her and can book her only with another stylist. Also the policy was never given at the time of appointment, I only know it now cause I called to ask. This is horrible customer service . I tried 3 ppl before finding her and I'm SO incredibly grateful. Not only is she talented and actually listens, but she is also kind and fun which makes spending a couple hours in that chair fly by. She is reasonable in her pricing as well, which makes it possible for me to afford to maintain my hair vs skip meals to afford getting my hair done and waiting 6 months to a year to do so again.. which makes it seem pointless at times.
