I am a spa service provider so I contacted management and at first I thought everything would be fine because why would anyone want to cause stress purposefully to the other renters? Well I was sadly mistaken because the management did not handle it. Instead told the hairstylists they can leave their doors open and blamed me saying I was being a bully? So unprofessional. I do not recommend for estheticians or massage therapists who need a respectful and peaceful environment. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and a pic of my current hair and she assured me she could do it. I asked for a partial highlight, lowlight and a toner (which is something that has worked for me for almost 15 years). Dona decided she wanted to change this and talked me into a FULL highlight with NO toner because she said she was so skilled that I wouldn't need to go through that extra step. After paying her $165, I ended up going back TWO more times because she had no idea how to get the orange out of my hair. She kept ranting about how bad her arm hurt and that she called her Aunt to ask her how to fix my hair then came up with some excuse about a "hot root" which I had NEVER had an issue with in all the years I have been getting my hair done. I told her I didn't want to sit there longer and make her arm hurt and even left with soaked hair that I blow dried myself at home. We agreed that I still had a lot of orange and that I would come back for a FOURTH time so she could fix it. We agreed that I would text her after a wash to let her know how I was feeling about it. I sent her these pics and let her know that the bottom was really bad too and if there was any way to get rid of all these awful, CHUNKY highlights. She replied 3 hours later letting me know that "communication " is very important to her and that she would be canceling my next appointment to fix my hair. Apparently HONESTY and INTEGRITY is not so important to her. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN! Full of excuses and the extent of her talent is a beauty college level hair cut. read more

She was able to get me in within a couple of days and was super professional and friendly throughout the process. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted done to my hair, just that I wanted something new and I wanted it to look good, so I sent her a picture of my hair and she sent me back some options she thought would look good and why. She also let me know how much each was too. I've never been inside Sola Salons so I was surprised how it was set up. Everyone has their own suite/room, big enough for a chair, a hair washing station, and all those hair car products that make you look so good, very nice and private. Jamice herself is wonderful! Love coming here, Terra Dispirito does my hair and has been for years. I do a lot of color, I've had pink, purple, grey, blue and she always takes care of me and most importantly my hair. Anytime I want a change she always tells me how to take care of it or the potential damage it can cause and always guides me in the right direction. Tired of all the unsanitary painful waxing services I decided to try Sola Salon. After searching through there list of studios I chose Monica. At 1:32 I called and got her voice mail. It stated that I could leave a message or text her. So @ 1:36 I text a brief message regarding an underarm wax appointment for today or tomorrow. She texted back at 1:56 giving me a time for same day service. Awesome! So I arrived about 10min. early to see her cleaning her station, and wiping down her chair. Even when i moved out of state, had my hair butchered by another stylist(my hair turned green) i called nathan crying, and he gave my guidance over the phone on how to correct the damage! Found a Groupon on the place and decided that I was in for a change of waxing specialists. I was pampered by Dianne who I can honestly say was very accommodating and patient. She uses a combination of wax and takes pride in what she does. She explained a lot to me and help me understand the basics of skin care. I went in for a waxing but came out with a lot more. She would definitely be worth going to and trying because of her upbeat friendly attitude. She seriously makes it about the client more then most places do. I was so pleased with my experience I started referring friends and family as well. Hair by Dona - Dona has been doing my hair and my families hair for over 10 years. On every occasion she has always discussed what we wanted, and been thorough and clear about what to expect. I have never left with my hair less then what I asked for, nor has it been not what I expected. At the moment, she does have an assistant, Kelly, who is helping her as she is having some medical issues, but it has not impacted my hair care. It's nice to know that Dona was thoughtful enough of her clients to be sure that she can still provide the high level of service while she addresses her medical issues. Not many people would do that. One of the male stylists lightly trimmed my grandma's hair and didn't even wash or blow dry her hair and charged $40. Might i add that my grandma's hair is extremely short so it is way above her shoulders. I don't know if they like to take advantage of elderly people who can't speak English or what the reason is, but it's way too expensive for the lack of effort they put into their work. If you are going to charge $40-$60 for a haircut it better be great and well worth it. I personally go to an expensive salon myself, but I go for the quality of work they provide and it's all worth it. read more

Just had my hair done here a few weeks ago, my appointment was with Chrissy V. Best, I loved how the salon was an individual suite, all on it's own. No pressure from a big wide open space and everyone gossiping or worrying what you look like with your hair all wet! I can hear myself and my hair dresser actually talk this way! She has a little set up for coffee and tea or water too. Chrissy was amazing, she did exactly what I had asked and explained everything and why we did it. She even keeps little index cards on all her clients so she can write down what kind of products and volumes she uses so she knows what works best for you in the future, or if you want to do something you previously had done with her before she has something to refer to! Such a genius idea! The first time I asked her to add some small, soft blonde highlights to my normally brunette hair and she did exactly what I asked except I ended up getting that "blonde" itch and wanted her to add more because it wasn't quite as light as I had hoped. She scheduled me again for a week later and added more blonde to my hair, for free! Even though she is very experienced and has been doing hair for over 20 years, she still knows how to make my hair look great and keeps up with the trends. With Chrissy V., ask and you shall receive! One of the best hair cuts I have ever received! I had my hair done here a week ago for the first time and had a great experience. The salon itself is broken up into lots of individual suites, which are all like mini salons. Very cool! The sign on the front said walk-ins welcome so when I decided I needed my hair cut spur of the moment, this was the first place I came while out and about. When I entered I ended up walking into the first salon suite to the right (since there is no front desk). Martin Raoufi, my hairstylist, fitted me in his schedule right away. I showed/described to him exactly what I wanted my hair to look like and he completely nailed it. Not once did I feel rushed (which is so rare nowadays) when getting my hair cut. Martin and his wife Christina both work in the suite together and I would highly recommend both stylists! Both have an incredible amount of experience and Martin knew exactly how to cut my hair to make it most flattering for me. He was so professional and friendly and I am so happy with my results.
