David is efficient, quick, and honest. It has been fairly difficult finding a technician like David who is very personable and reliable. He tells you what you could expect and informs you with everything you need to know for the best possible solution. There might be other good technicians out there, but I highly recommend David. You won't need to look elsewhere. read more

This is a top quality family operation. I had a very unusual request. Fixing the kitchen's commercial refrigerator in a private railcar parked in Oakland. David was on time, reasonably priced, quickly fixed the problem and even spotted a potential need which he inexpensively fixed. Priority Refrigeration gets my highest recommendation. read more

My walk in cooler was running hot so I called Priority Refrigeration. David came down to check it out and found it was low on freon. He found a leak in my evaporator and did some welding and repaired the leak. He refilled it with freon and cleaned my condensor coil and now it's cooling at 36 degrees. The repair was fast and cheaper then I though it would be. He gave me a free service call if I yelped him. Thanks for the fix! read more

Service top notch, very professional service. I had 2 true refrigerators that both decided to not work and I started panicking as anyone in the restaurant industry knows that losing two refrigerators is not cool. Called priority refrigeration and they arrived sooner than expected bonus!! Long story short Honest very reasonable prices and 5 star service! I am very happy with the result of the work done and am now exclusively going to use Priority Refrigeration for any problems in the future! read more

I recently inherited an older True glass-door refrigerator that needed some service. I called around for some advice and some quotes. David responded quickly and helped me get a sense of what I was dealing with. He then showed up right on time to do the work, after letting me know he was on the way. He and his partner were friendly, effective, and responsive to my needs. He also followed up with me the next day and let me know that he stands behind his work and that I should call him if anything goes awry. The fridge is now working great and I am delighted to have a such a professional, capable friend in the commercial refrigeration business. read more

Our business had just recently relocated to Emeryville and I found David and Priority Refrigeration on Yelp....I couldn't be more pleased. David replied immediately and set up an appointment to come out and look at our 7 freezers and refrigerators, he tuned them all up, got the ones that weren't working to work and was great to work with. He explained what needed to be done along the way and gave me estimates as he worked. His time and work were great and quite reasonable. I would recommend him highly and we will be using him now on a regular basis. Glad to know that there are some personable, trained professionals out in the world that do exactly what they say they are going to do. read more

David was absolutely incredible. He came less than an hour after we called him and knew exactly what to do to fix our fridge problem. We own a local coffee shop and every penny counts. Unfortunately, the repairman before David, bought and installed the wrong size fan and relay kit. Ugh. But David had the part replaced and working within two hours of showing up, including a trip to the parts store! If you need commercial fridge repair, David is the guy! read more

David has a sincerity and professionalism proportional to his repair acumen. That is to say, he's great. It's one thing to be able to quickly diagnose a problem with a commercial produce refrigerator (ours was having trouble keeping temperature). It makes all the difference to do it communicatively and patiently. He guided me through his whole repair process and kept me updated on what he expected the final price of the job to be; needless to say, I will be calling on him again. read more

David arrived when he said he would, diagnosed the issue quickly, applied the repair; explaining the entire process along the way, had a reasonable price, I will not go anywhere else, thank you David read more

David has been servicing all of our refrigeration equipment since last year. We'll shoot him a text and he'll be right over the same day if not, the next. David offers excellent service and we are always happy with the result. read more

The reviews don't lie. My Beverage Air reach-in wasn't holding temp. Called up Priority Refrigeration, spoke with David, response was quick. He diagnosed and explained the problem. While performing the repair, he taught me a few tricks on how to maintain an extend the life of my equipment. I've dealt with other repair guys in the past who seem just outright incompetent compared to David. It sounds harsh, but being in a service related industry myself, David's friendly, knowledgable, and proactive approach is the trifecta of quality service. The other guys just didn't inspire confidence. To top it all off, David's rates were better than those repair guys of lesser caliber. If you're still deciding on which refrigeration repair company to use, you can end your search here. read more

I called priority refrigeration based on the positive yelp reviews. David came out and diagnosed the problem very quickly and found it was a bad compressor (I saw him try and start the compressor with a new starter). To my delight he had the compressor in stocked in his van and got started right away. he was done in the same day in less then 3 hours. The compressor installation was very reasonably priced compared to previous experiences with my ex-service technician. He then recommended I do a maintenance on my other units which he did. I feel he gave me honest service and seemed knowledgeable when I asked him about recommendations and repairs. I'll be using him for my regular maintenance and repairs from now on. read more

I found priority refrigeration on yelp and based on his reviews I decided to call. I explained the ongoing issues we were having in our bar with lots of equipment, True freezers, a big walk in cooler, beverage air beer boxes and keg coolers and a Delfied unit. He performed maintenance on all the units and changed a thermostat in another, added freon in the other unit, total bill was less then $375! I was previously charged $400 just for a thermostat from my past service company... he came, assessed the problems, repaired the problems and left, it's been a few months and everything is still running great. Will be using this company from now on! read more

Priority Refrigeration is the Best. David is unbelievably talented. He is honest, reliable, efficient, and kind. We have had David out on two different occasions to repair four separate issues. David is a refrigeration genius. He solved all our issues, with affordable and timely fixes/solutions . He repaired our commercial wine cooler, our Scotsman ice machine and our commercial refrigerator and ice maker. Priority Refrigeration also gets perfect marks on customer satisfaction as they checked back with us days later to make sure everything was working! read more

Great Service! Job was done fast and David was super friendly and helpful in explaining what the problem was and what we could do to prevent it in the future. He is now our go-to guy for all our fridge/freezer servicing and repair needs. read more

David was recommended to us five years ago and he's been maintaining all of our refrigeration units since. He is a highly skilled tradesman with superhuman diagnostic abilities, and has rescued our cafe on countless occasions. On top of that, he's a really nice guy who cares about his work and the well being of our business. Can't recommend enough. read more

David was WONDERFUL! The reach-in refrigerator at our homeless shelter stopped cooling, which is a big problem as we have 30 hungry youth to feed every day! We received a quote from another company who wanted to replace the condensing unit for $2,300+ which is something we simply cannot afford-being a non-profit, we have to watch every penny. We called Priority Refrigeration for a second opinion, and I'm so glad we did! Not only is his service charge 1/3 of the price of other companies, he discovered that the condensing unit did not need replacing, but simply a new fuse. He recharged the coolant and cleaned all 3 refrigeration units for a fraction of what we would have paid the other company. All of our units are now fully functional, and we have David to thank! I cannot recommend Priority Refrigeration highly enough, we are so glad we called!! read more

When the commercial refrigerator at our synagogue recently stopped working, we contacted Priority Refrigeration. They called back immediately , scheduled a visit for 2 days later, and gave us a two-hour window. They called as promised an hour prior to their arrival and showed up exactly when they said they would. David was accompanied by an assistant. They promptly got to work and in short order had diagnosed the problem- a build-up of black gunk on the compressor had shut it down. They cleaned it thoroughly, replaced the freon that had leaked, and stayed for a while to make sure that the temperature was holding. They were at our site for a bit over an hour and charged us $200. David and his assistant were polite, friendly, professional, and competent. Based on our experience, we would happily use them again (hope we won't have to!) and feel comfortable recommending them to others. read more

Great work and service. Reasonable rate. Highly recommended. Thanks David!
