What can't i say about David and his team! We met through my produce vendor a couple years ago, i think. So glad we met because he's provided excellent service every time. I have 8 different fridges and freezers running 24-7 in my restaurant and every time i need service David is there for me. He's honest, quick, and extremely reliable. I just wish i didn't have to call him as many times as i've had to! I wouldn't call anyone else for my commercial refrigeration needs. I always refer him to industry friends too. You're in good hands with them! read more

I had trouble finding some to fix and replace the compressor on my freezer truck I searched yelp and found David who said he could help me . David did a excellent job for me and I highly recommend to give him a call if you need someone for freezer or refrigeration repair. read more

To be honest, I only write reviews of extreme service experiences, and in this case I am extremely happy. David Kim deserves six stars, five for every dimension of expertise and service quality, and one extra for resourcefulness. I presented him with a double challenge when my wine cellar refrigeration system failed - esoteric legacy (read unfamiliar) technology and critical time constraint. David's ingenuity, determination, and timeliness left other local bidders in the dust. Impeccable professionalism, honesty, and promptness. I literally sleep better at night knowing David has serviced essential appliances in my home. read more

Dave, the owner of Priority Refrigeration, is the best I have ever used in my 27 years in the restaurant industry. I own a restaurant, Marzano, in Oakland. He has helped me out numerous times, on short notice, and is extremely helpful with insight to help upkeep your refrigeration going forward. Customer satisfaction is top priority here. He is an engaging, and easy person to talk to. He also understands the small business owner. He tries to figure out ways to economically get the job done. In other words, he doesn't try to gouge you for the work. He is fair, and honest. His work is precise, and extremely professional. If you have problems with any refrigeration, including ice machine cleaning etc. etc. do not hesitate. Call Dave at priority refrigeration. You will not be disappointed. read more

I work for Courtyard Marriott I am the Chief Engineer We have used David from priority refrigeration for 2 1/2 years and he has always done great work for a fair price. We have used him to work on replacing compressors, fan motors, and pumps on our coolers and walk in refrigerator/freezer and ice machines. He has always been on time. And when we had an emergency with our walk in freezer going down he showed up the same day when no other company could and fixed the issue. With that being said I highly recommend this company. read more

I don't use anymore. Felt I couldn't trust that they would keep my two walk in refrigerators and freezer operational.

Five-star Dave! My new go-to for commercial refrigeration, he came promptly and was completely delightful, and happy to have this curious female engineer (me) watch what he was doing and discuss it. read more

Based on these Yelp reviews, I called Priority Refrigeration and they did not disappoint. David came promptly on time, identified the problem, and gave an estimate of the work to be done. I agreed to his more than fair price. He had all the parts on-hand and my refrigerator was up and running in no time! If you're looking for reliable, honest, and efficient work at a more than reasonable price, look no further! I've used many different companies in the past - and Priority Refrigeration beats them on all accounts, hands down! Called on a Saturday morning and the technician, David, picked up right away. I told him about my refrigeration problem and he was able to come in within 30 minutes. The service call alone was $40 (I'm in Alameda), which was reasonable compared to other places I've reached out to on Yelp. The refrigeration problem was fixed in about an hour. When asked about other appliances (which is not in his area), David tried his best to help. He was able to increased the flame on my stove and shut off the pilot on the ones that I don't use. He also didn't charge me for this part ;). Overall, David is an honest family guy who offers quick and efficient work. I am satisfied with the service and very confident that I will return to Priority Refrigeration for all my refrigeration problems. read more

David has serviced the multiple refrigerators in our cafe, but when we got a used ice machine that failed to produce ice, I went with another technician based on a recommendation. Bad decision. 5 months later, no ice. First it needed a freon charge. Then it was the board. Then it was the compressor. Then it was the expansion valve. I was tired of reverse engineering the thing. I just wanted frozen water. Enter David. I called him to check on a refrigerator that was running warm. He came out 10 minutes after the call ended. He discovered it was a stuck fan and had it running in less than an hour. And the staff loved him. Before leaving, I asked him to check on the ice machine. He took a look and found a leak. It took him all of 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong. He came in and fixed the ice machine. We finally have ice! I should've called David right when we got the ice machine. Lesson learned. I sent him over to the fellow business owner who recommended the other guy, and he promptly dumped that guy and is now having David handle his refrigerators and ice machines. read more

If you're looking for reliability, honesty, integrity and proven top notch service call David at Priority Refrigeration. David has been my "go to" guy for about 5 years now and he never disappoints. Over the years, David has worked on our reach-in and walk-in refrigerators, ice machine, air conditioning units etc. . We have an average size kitchen, in which every inch of work space is utilized during our peak service hours. David always takes this into consideration when scheduling his service calls so as not to interfere with the flow of business. His prompt response to emergency calls has proven to be one of the greatest parts of our business relationship. On top of it all, David is a super nice guy and he has become a welcomed part of our family here at Aegis of Moraga. David, All the best to you in the years to come!! God bless !! read more

This is the second time I have dealt with the owner David Kim. I do not write very many "Yelp Reviews" but this person deserves a 5 Star Review. Especially on this occasion. I needed a Manitowoc ice machine serviced and was under a time restraint. ( Not working at all) David was good enough to do a service call on this Sunday---which is when the business is normally closed. He was on time as promised and did an "outstanding" job getting the machine up and running for a very fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend the business to anyone looking for refrigeration repair. read more

I have been using David for several years now. I have a small bar in San Jose, an area he usually doesn't service, but I willingly pay an extra fee for time and travel because I don't want anyone else touching my equipment! I've had the bar for 24 years. I have 1 walk-in, 2 reach-in and 1 draft cooler. I have gone through at least 10 different guys and companies over the years. Never have I had such competent repairs and service. I WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND DAVID. read more

I am always grateful for honest, reliable repair people and I'm so glad that I found Priority Refrigeration on Yelp. My commercial fridge (SO-LOW 2 door) was having problems cooling down. I was advised to fix it myself, but when I opened up the fridge to take a look, I felt like a fish out of water. With all the responsibilities of being a small business owner, I really just wanted a professional to assist me in getting the fridge cold again. I called David and we set-up a window for him to show up. What was a nice surprise was that when he finished early at another job, he called me to see if I wanted an earlier appointment time. I thought that was a very thoughtful gesture. It turns out that my fridge need a shot of free-on and that a cap/screw was pretty lose, which could explain why there wasn't any free-on in the fridge. I told David that I was interested in learning how to add free-on myself, so he showed me how to attach the gauge and feed free-on into the fridge. It seemed easy enough, but as a small business owner, I would rather have professionals handle things like this! I appreciate the time he took to teach me how to do the job, though. The two of us laid out a plan in case I found the fridge wasn't staying cold (i.e. evidence of a larger problem, like a leak). I felt really well informed after his repair and even better, my fridge is cold again!!!!! I highly recommend David and Priority Refrigeration! read more

David did a great job fixing our refrigerators and our ice machine. It's hard to find a good repairman. You are always wondering if what they are telling you is the truth or if it really needs fixing. David is honest and will tell you what you need or don't need. His rates are very reasonable and you can count on him being there when he says he will be there. Thanks David! read more

My Beverage Air freezer went out on me, of course right after I stocked it with 150 pounds of ribeye and chicken... I called my regular guy and he said he couldn't make it out until Friday! So I ended up asking the restaurant next door if they knew a mechanic and they referred me to David. He was able to come out later that day, figured out what was wrong in 10 minutes and changed some relay capacitor thing he had already stocked in his van. The freezer was working it took less then an hour, and on top of that he gave me a 1 year warranty. He said that if I gave him a honest yelp review he'd do a maintenance on my other unit for free (which he did). Great work and fast service, I'll definitely be using him again. read more
