Capital Roofing and Exteriors (CRE) handled repairs to my porch and fascia after a tree strike in…read moreearly December. Jesse and his crew were responsive and eager to coordinate directly with my insurance provider, which helped move the process along--but not without some concerns. To start with the positives: Jesse is communicative and aggressive about pushing the claim through insurance. Once work began, the repairs were done relatively quickly. He clearly wants to keep things moving and keep the client informed. However, the full process--from damage to completion--dragged into early April. A lot of that delay falls on the insurance company, but not all. CRE can be a bit too eager to upsell or stretch the scope of work to fit what insurance might cover, and that added some complexity and delay. More importantly, the execution left a lot to be desired. The fascia and trim work ended up dented, scuffed, and uneven in places. Nails were bent over instead of properly seated. Cosmetic flaws that shouldn't be present after a professional repair. And the biggest issue: the roofing subcontractors were extremely sloppy. They left debris scattered across my yard and nails in my driveway--one of which ended up in my tire. That kind of carelessness really undercut any goodwill. In summary: Jesse is responsive and energetic, and CRE will push your claim hard. But expect to keep a close eye on the job, especially the subs, and don't expect perfection on finish work. Solid in some areas, disappointing in others.

Level Up Innovations, LLC installed a new roof on my house at 38371 Barbara Court, Mechanicsville,…read moreMd. on May 15, 2020. They issued me a 5-year warranty on that roof. On March 23, 2024, my roof developed a significant leak in the vicinity of the chimney box that caused interior damage to my living room and the adjacent hallway ceilings. I called Level Up CEO, Mr. Cody Fielding the morning of March 23rd leak to inform him of the situation and followed it up twice that same day with additional information. In one of those calls I informed Mr. Fielding that I had contacted my insurance company, USAA, with details of the leak and the company which installed it in 2020 and details of their 5-year warranty. I gave them the contact information for Level Up to include Mr. Fielding's telephone number. Each time my call was sent to his voicemail account. I sent two emails to Mr. Fielding with pictures of the damage attached. On March 25th, I called Mr. Fielding once again with additional supporting information. To date, a full month later, I have not received any response from Level Up Innovations/Mr. Fielding. During the period of March 23-March 25 I contacted USAA Insurance company to initiate a claim for the damage to the roof and home interior. My USAA adjuster informed me that he had called Mr. Fielding and discussed the situation with him. I was told that Mr. Fielding had promised that a Level Up representative would come to my home to inspect the damage on March 29th. To date, there has been no such visit from Level Up. Level Up Innovations, LLC/Mr. Cody Fielding has failed to honor his 5-year warranty. Subsequently USAA Insurance has approved the repairs to the roof and subsequent interior damage to another company I have chosen; Infinity Restoration Inc. USAA has initiated an investigation into Level Up Innovations LLC. Their intent is to investigate if a third party (Level Up) is liable for the damages to my property and, if so, pursue that party for my insurance deductible and any amounts USAA has or will pay out on the claim.

We purchased Kohler rain shower plus hand-held and tub mechanism with all necessary valves from Fergussons. We kept our reclining Kohler tub with side st.steele handles. We needed to tear out and replace all prior tiles due to leak, and wet uninsulated walls around tub. Mr. Buendia and his team planned out the job, gave us a reasonable estimate, told us from when to when the job was going to be done, emailed us job proposal, we agreed and signed contract, and the the job started. They covered floors and stairs to prevent any damage, while we made sure they had access to an empty bathroom. In the middle of job we discovered that we needed to reinstall 'all walls, which we did not know when we started. Mr. Buendia and I went to the Tile store on Eisenhower Ave., and we chose together a tile that would fit and look great, and align with remaining ceramic floor. The team worked in coordinated way, and the end result is truly terrific! We are very satisfied and very much recommend Mr. Buendia's team to others. Prior to this job we had also hired Mr. Buendia for other jobs, redoing siding and trim on a townhouse, replacing basement foor with tile, replacing ceiling tiles with a true ceiling, painting, installing storm doors. Each time, we always received work proposal, reasonable cost estimate, and the work has always been excellent. A crew came out Jan 24th, "completed" the job in 1 day. Tiles were terrible cut, grout was cracking and falling out, trim was barely hanging on. Horrendous job. After much back and forth, they finally came out 5 weeks to fix their terrible work. I was told they would come out to do the work and it would take 1-2 days. It ended up taking them a week, Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday, to re-do the job. Some days were no call no shows, leaving us with plywood from the base construction of the building as our kitchen floors for that week. The job is still not completed as there are still areas of the flooring unfinished. Absolutely terrible work, and even worse customer experience. Would not recommend to anyone looking to have any kind of work done.

But the worst part of the job was the quality of work. See the pictures and decide for yourself. They actually used chipped tile. To top it off they used some type of grout protectant and didn't cover my wooden floor. Now I have white residue in between the wooden planks and their shoe sole prints too. I couldn't even get them to clean up their handy work in the driveway. I had to hire a cleaning company to undue the damage. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company to a friend or anyone else. It could cost you more, so do your homework!
