They refused to print my items claiming that my own artwork that I drew violated their copyright infringement policy.... Even when I submitted evidence that the artwork wasn't stolen. There needs to be consistency across the board. IF you are going to shut an artist's order down because you deem it to be too similar of a style of a different work, you should ALSO shut down orders where people are taking actual celebrity photos off of the internet and printing them on tees. I have seen quite a few Printful review videos where people have straight out stolen a person's likeness....but they have no problem printing those. DESIGNERS BEWARE! Printful is a terrible and unprofessional company that will not work with you if you have any issues with your order. I recently ordered some 8X10 prints and the shipment was damaged while in transit. Printful declined to reprint or refund the order. They simply said "that's our policy" and to "look on the website". I have never dealt with such awful and unaccommodating customer service. I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere. The biggest problem with this company is how slow they are. Sure, they have things go out of stock occasionally, and some people might find that annoying, but I stick to things that are more available and it hasn't been a problem. The problem with this company is that they steadfastly refuse to get off their ass and just *hurry up* a bit when things require it. For instance, a customer orders next day shipping, and they still take a week to make the product, and then they ship it. Whenever you try messaging them to ask them to please consider moving faster, they come back with excuses. I don't know what the expectation is; should I go to my customer with their excuses? I cannot recommend this service to anyone who has customers that are in any way demanding. They would get a ZERO if possible. I ordered 5 mugs and 2 t-shirts. I received the mugs first. They were OK. Color quality was so so. The issue i have is they sent the 2 t-shirts by USPS. I did not receive them. The post office said they were delivered but i never got them. I asked Prihtful what to do about this. They (Kyairah C.) said they were not liable and I would have to eat the loss and reorder new ones. Are you kidding? They don't insure your order! So if you want to gamble and lose your money for nothing order away! FYI Printful... I only printed 2 t-shirts to test run the size and print quality. Print quality is fine, varies a bit depending on surface/item. Embroidery came out nicely. Timelines are a bit long, but comparable to some other print-on-demand services...certainly not the fastest out there, but probably better quality than most of the nimblest. My biggest gripe remains that their customer service was only willing to help me once I publicly posted bad reviews. As a first-time customer with only one issue in a multi-item order, I was really surprised how obstinate and unhelpful they were when I initially reached out. I've worked with a lot of print-on-demand services and never encountered this. After posting bad reviews reflective of this, they DID finally make it right, and I do really appreciate it...but they should be offering this from the get-go. read more

This company is AWFUL. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE! The customer support is extremely corrupt. I ordered 5 hats at the steep cost of $127. They all came HUGE, 4 full inches bigger than the "maximum circumference" listed on the product dimensions. I sent this to customer service WITH PHOTOS measuring with a soft measuring tape. The service team first told me that I was not measuring right (which is false), then someone else replied saying that I did measure correctly and they could refund me, THEN the same person said "actually can you provide photos of all 5 hats" ?!?! Which is a ridiculous request. They're all the same. Then someone else replies and says that items can be returned "only when issues are clearly visible". HOW IS A REAL MEASURMENT NOT CLEAR?!? It's obvious that they're just running in circles with me trying to avoid a refund, so I will be reporting them on every platform possible. DO NOT ORDER FROM PRINTFUL! read more

Be warned, what you see may not be what you get. I ordered and received coffee mugs. It seems I clicked a box that doubles the image, in a way that is not visible on the mock-up views since you cannot zoom in on the mocks ups - however, it is there and when it is printed it is quite obvious. Customer service has deemed it "user error" and continues to send me zoomed-in screenshots showing the doubling. I think they need a zoom feature - or to send actual proofs like every other printer I have used! read more

I don't really think it's worth it. You sell a hat that they have marked on their site for $18 but are charged $28 for the still. Ive actually never written a review before, but these guys were great. Im starting a clothing line, and im using their print on demand service. About a week and a half ago I ordered some samples, with plans to drive to LA and do some photoshoots with the products. I got an email later in the week saying that the graphic for one of my hats was too small. So i fixed it, and sent it back to them. (Not a lot of other printing companies would care to even warn me of my graphic issues) However a day or two had passed and the order was still on hold, and I was leaving for LA in like a day. I started to get nervous, so I changed the order to HQ pickup. I sent multiple emails asking them to take my order off hold but I got no response. I then chatted with one of their customer service representatives via their website, and was able to get the hold released immediately. He even put the order on priority, so I could pick it up that day. I just picked up the products and they look great. Awesome customer service, great quality, and a super helpful website. The only thing, is their selection of hoodies. They have ONE hoodie to print on, and its gildan. Gildan is known for not having great quality, so I wish there was another option so I don't have to get my hoodies made elsewhere! read more

Avoid Printful like the Plague! Okay first off, I would give them zero stars if I could and here's why. I have bought at least 10-12 items from them. There coffee cups are okay, there sweatshirts are not worth the money and the embroidery is so faded it just looks awful. But that's not the problem. Problem is, they ask you to upload an image like a PNG file. Then when they embroider it, it never comes out the same twice. I have uploaded the exact same design for a total of 5 different hats and out of all of them only one was acceptable. That is only part of the problem. Thee biggest problem I have with them is there customer service 100% SUCKS and that is the understatement of the year. I had finally found someone who was reasonable and refunded my money only to get a nasty follow up email from a supervisor "advising me:" that I violated terms and conditions for receiving a refund and in front of Jesus Himself, I have the emails to prove it. So then like a fool I decide you know what I will try another order so I used another email and opened a new account. One of the hats was perfect the other one was garbage. When I tried to reach out to customer support, they said it was my fault and the file I uploaded. then they proceeded to attach a blurred out fake version of my logo and claimed it was the one I uploaded. I would avoid these people like the PLAGUE!!! Especially if you are drop shipping and won't get an opportunity to see your end product before it is delivered. Your customers deserve better. AVOID. I ordered 1 T-Shirt as a test for the company (need to order multiple for Crew) The 1 T-Shirt had a hold placed on it, with no notification (they claim an email went out). When I logged in to check the status it was a color issue. No worries there....... I corrected the problem. When I logged back in 6 days later the hold was still in place because I had not responded to the email. I had corrected the problem but not responded to the email. When I clicked chat now, the person was just nonchalant "Oh you didn't reply to the email to let us know it was done" REALLY Your System Said I Corrected The Problem a Week Ago. She offered to go in and remove hold and have me the shirt within 2 weeks. It should not take over a month to print 1 T-Shirt if you are in the T-Shirt business. read more

I have ordered Otto "low-profile" 5 piece cap and when I received it, was very disappointed. Cap did not fit or measured as LOW PROFILE at all. Cap was actually hurting the top of my ears and fitting it. False advertising as far as this particular product goes. If you want to waste your money - order it and then see for yourself. When I was trying to get this issue resolved, I found out that their customer support team does not have a clue regarding the dimensions/sizing that low-profile cap should have. At first, this site is nicely set up. The mockup generator is fairly simple to use and products are priced at the industry-wide standard (not cheap, but not overly expensive). However, there is one major issue with the company/site/business that really got to me. There is a process of converting uploaded files to a file type the embroidery machines accept (and other printing machines) for which Printful charges nearly $9. This process can be done by anyone on a home computer in less than a few seconds (okay, maybe a minute). But, the company doesn't accept the digitized file type (which they have to convert to) as an upload option. Why? If I already have the file type needed (the digitized .dtx, .dws, or any other interchangeable CAD file) for the embroidery machine, why should I pay $9 extra for the company to convert it from a file .png, .svg, .jpg, or .psd file type for which there is actually no need for in the first place? It's sort of like knowing your headlights are working. In fact, you've never had a problem with your headlights, but the mechanic tells you, "Well, something is wrong with your headlights. We don't know what, but we know they work. We want to take them out any way and put the same exact kind of headlights in your car that you already have - that'll be $100." Needless to say, I won't use this company ever. I think I may have used them in the past, I'm not sure, but I definitely will not use a company that hides malicious extra costs and processes. I'm very disappointed because the site is very nice, the customer service is friendly and helpful (or at least tries) but as for the business process - nope. Not today. read more

My advice to anyone thinking about building Printful into your business model is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Inconsistent quality and general incompetence across the board really makes me regret the countless hours and thousands of dollars I wasted on them. Best case scenario: you'll be able to easily produce amateurish clothing and overpriced prints to support your hobbies. If you take yourself, your business, or your brand seriously at all, you won't be happy... Worst case scenario: they cause irreparable damage to your brand in the eyes of your customers. *Very dissatisfied Business owner/ Customer. I've been with Printful for just over two months. In the beginning I was happy with the mockup generator and the overall feel of their site. I was also happy with the variety of products that we had selected. We have over 150 products in our store that are now fulfilled by Prinfful. We had chosen to use American Apparel products. Therefore, when we had created each of our 150 products they automatically generated using American apparel specs and name in the description on our website. This was indeed helpful until we were notified on Feb 1st that American apparel was no longer going to be carried by Printful. Thus meaning, we had to change ALL 150 of our products INDIVIDUALLY AND MANUALLY to an alternative product. Once this was completed YET AGAIN for the SECOND TIME, we noticed that the product description and mockup images were still listed as American Apparel. This took HOURS and DAYS to begin with and more HOURS AND DAYS to change. Once changed, we noticed that the mockup photos on our website were not automatically updated to reflect the new apparel that we had to choose. On top of all of this, the product descriptions and bullet points stayed of those of American Apparel . Upon contacting Printful they informed us that there is no way for them to push the new mockup images and descriptions to our Shopify site. They had two options for us. Option 1: We would have to delete each and every one of our 150 products and recreate all 150 of them. This of course will push the product to update. However, this will take Hours and days to complete YET AGAIN. Option 2: We could hire one of THEIR technicians to do option #1 for us. Depending on the amount of products on our site, the starting cost is $500 MINIMUM. When we had spoken with Printful about these issues, they stated that they did not foresee this happening and that those are our only two options. When we had chosen them for our fulfillment services, there was no warning to us that this would ever happen. They did not have an emergency backup plan in place and we are to pay $500 or more to have it fixed or do it INDIVIDUALLY AND MAUALLY OURSELVES, WHICH WE HAD ALREADY DONE! This is not okay, and a simple sorry is all they are offering. They should have warned us that this could possibly happen. W fee that they should have also taken responsibility and had their technician fix THEIR automatically generated American Apparel descriptions. read more

I am shocked at the horrible shoddy quality of Printful's T shirt printing. I've been watching YouTube videos of people raving about the high quality of Printful's T shirts, for a year. I've spent months designing and working on my niches. I'm at the final stage.. ready to launch my stores, so I ordered 3 samples. The ink looks cheap.. translucent.. and it feels rubbery.. it sits on the shirt and isnt absorbed deep I to the material. I washed 1 shirt once, inside out in cold water... it developed several big holes in the ink. I washed another shirt 3 times, in cold water and inside out.. this shirt gas developed little holes in the ink and the ink is very faded. Printful sent me replacements for the 2 shoddy shirts.. I just recieved and opened the 2 replacements. 1 of the replacements has a tear in the rubbery ink. This is unbelievable.. 3 of 7 shirts have been shoddy crap. How can I use Printful to fulfill my orders? I am planning to build name brands and build my business and reputation. How can I have shoddy cheap crap sent to my customers? I feel duped.. It looks like all the top youtube channels promoting Printful are paid shills.. it cant be a fluke that 3 of 7 shirts have shoddy garbage prints.. I need to find a reliable print on demand company that actually produces quality products. I need to find a print on demand that I and trust.
