Unfortunately I have a mixed review. The products and printing services appear to be good. My customers have not complained about quality. As a small business owner I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. I cannot call them, so I have to rely on a chat box and email support. Sometimes days go by without a response, and when I get a response they don't answer my questions. Currently they have failed to ship an order to a customer from my Etsy shop. It is now more than 4 days overdue. I have been trying to have this rectified for a week now with no resolution. I had to send my customer my sample without charge just so they would receive their order in time (that's how you do customer service). If you are lucky the products turn out well and are shipped and delivered on time. That happens about 60% of the time. If you are in the 40% and need customer service , then get ready for Sparky!. Company line will be kept to, all delivery dates are estimates, and delivery times will vary dependent on weather, price of fish, time of day, and whether the person picking your product to print actually is having a good or bad day. One order was placed on the 22nd of Dec and with no expectation of it arriving in time for Christmas - but for it to arrive on the 29th of Jan!?? Printful response? Nothing. Bot. Refund? Nope. Credit? Nope. Just Sparky and then a wait of 90 mins to chat to a "real" person - which ended up being 8 hours and an email response (a canned one at that) detailing delivery times, holiday delays and other mumbo jumbo without actually apologizing. My tip? Avoid! Find a local business you can work with who can produce what you need. 9 times out of 10 you will pay the same and get better quality. Printful bough Printify and will end up absorbing others. AI will take over all customer service and they will take your money and run. Walk away if you can. We have! read more

Printful's customer service is now basically NON EXISTENT. I have been using them for my posters since the summer of 2024 . They were great then. They were on chat right away if you had an issue and if chat was closed on the weekends, you could email and get a response the next day. Now? You're lucky if you only have a 10 min wait to get on chat with someone. And sometimes the person on chat will tell you they will need to follow up by emailing you and then NEVER do! And then you have the new chat bot "Sparky" that works hard on getting you to use it instead of talking to a human, even implying they might be closed, even though they aren't. read more

Absolute nightmare. I decided to try POD selling and chose Printful because of good reviews and in-house quality. That was a big mistake. The samples I ordered before I started selling were fine, but as soon as I started getting orders, they broke my designs and were going to ship broken prints. I had to put my orders on hold until they could figure it out, but there is no support when there is a problem. You wait an hour for an agent, only to find out they can't actually help you and just tell you "somebody will contact you when they can." And then nothing happens. No matter how hard you press, they will not do anything to help and will not let you talk to anybody else. You just wait and wait. Meanwhile, I missed my delivery window with my customers and they didn't care one bit. After a week, they tried to release my orders to fulfillment without fixing the problem just to make it go away because they were tired of hearing from me every day. I posted a review on another site and they responded with, "please send us your particulars and we'll get right on it." I did, and absolutely nothing happened. I eventually had to cancel all the orders and fulfill them through Gelato, and I never did hear a peep from anybody at Printful. Only choose this company if you really hate yourself. read more

1. My customer stated that her DTF graphic started to peel off after one wash. 2. Printful suspended my payments (without notifying me) and said the only way to remove the suspension was to pay them a chargeback (for a t-shirt I cancelled, but they charged it to my credit card anyway) plus a $10 bank fee. I tried talking with their customer service and they said it's my fault. That what i submitted was what I got. My issue is the preview I approved looked nothing like what I got. I had a really, really bad experience with this company. When checking out of my cart, I was told that I MYSELF had to "take responsibility" for the safe delivery of any refund I might request. I couldn't complete the purchase without checking the box to acquiesce to that ridiculous, unprofessional policy. How can a customer be expected to be responsible for something utterly beyond his control? Outrageous. I did request a refund, as it turns out, emailed Printful to find out how long the refund would take, and didn't hear back from them for 2 full weeks. Turns out the refund was indeed issued back to my credit card 2 weeks earlier, but their late email told me their records showed the refund did not go through. This company is a hassle to deal with. Over 2k+ orders w/them and not impressed When busy they do not get items out on time, and when you contact support they just give you a run around. They say 7 days for an item to get out and I have in my stores 7 days. This is actually a review I tried to post on Printful's website and my review was never approved, so they are totally filtering out bad reviews: My experience with Printful has been beyond terrible and almost comically bad. I am on the board of a Non-profit and we wanted to get some t-shirts printed for our organization for the holidays and so I chose Printful, but I didn't trust my gut because I was seeing a lot of people comment on how since Printful merged with Printify, both the quality and customer service have take a nosedive, and wow did this turn out to be true. I should have trusted my gut. So I got a test shirt printed on this shirt, which they recommend for printing quality and I was super careful to provide high-res images that follow all their technical criteria, and actually the print was just a very simple design with a few colors and text and a logo on front. When I received the shirt the logo on the front had these weird vertical lines showing up in the printing and frankly the printing looked "ghostly" and like they used barely any ink, a fraction of what you would normally expect. I showed it to a few people and they all thought it looked super low quality and like the ink would probably start deteriorating after a few washes. If anyone ever used Redbubble to print and remembers how bad the print quality of those shirts was, where it looked like the ink would just start peeling off, well Printful's printing was basically that bad, which was a total shock to me. So here is where it gets really bananas. I sent a message to their customer service letting them know of the issues with the printing and I heard back in about a day and the person who wrote to me said the problem was with the shirt I chose and that the ink essentially sunk in too deep to the fabric. This is literally one of their few recommended and premium shirts for print quality so this doesn't check out and the guy is essentially blaming me for their terrible job with the printing. I guess this guy and or Printful have difficulty with accountability. Also his response was totally a cut and paste response. So I respond and say I respectfully disagree and I'd like to speak to a manager or someone who specializes in troubleshooting / overseeing print quality issues. It's literally been 7 days and I never got a response from that person or anyone. Ok so now I realize Printful doesn't have phone support but you can chat with them. So I start initiating chats asking for support with the issue and over and over an AI assistant would try to divert you away from speaking to human support (wow it feels so weird to say that as if human support isn't the default), and with a little pushing they would say ok we'll try to get you someone, and then it would take between an hour and literally like multiple hours for someone to enter the chat. Of course I am not sitting in front of my computer that long and I keep missing these agents, but they do send me an email each time and let me know I can email with them about the issue. Ok so I give up with actually using the chat to interact with customer support. I'm so annoyed by this that I take a couple days off from dealing with this and then email the woman who I missed on the chat and got an email from and she actually acknowledges that the print quality wasn't good enough and wants to help me resolve it. And I am like great, finally we're getting somewhere! So I wrote her back and say thank you for acknowledging the problem and yes I need your help because my plan was to place a large order of shirts but I don't feel comfortable to do so unless I can get assurance from them that the quality will be better for the bigger order and can she please help me to address this so I don't place a large order of shirts for my non-profit and then the printing is just as terrible. I sent the email and it's been 4 days with no response... I was reading on Reddit a bunch of horror stories about their quality and customer service and wow are they correct. It's almost comical how bad their customer service is. It's almost like they want to lose customers and or tank their reputation. It seems like yet another example of a big corporate merger leading to a company absolutely nose-diving into the toilet. I've sunk a ton of time and energy into trying to feel some trust with this company to do the right thing, provide the quality result they advertise, and to provide a dignified level of customer service to their customers and they failed on all counts, and I wish I could have that time and energy back. I've used Printful for years without issue--until they suddenly blocked my designs because they include the acronym "NFL", which in my business stands for something completely different than football. My company is a legally registered LLC with a DBA in Florida, and I've provided Printful with full documentation to prove that. They are late with every single order I have now migrated to Printify since they at least ship on time. Extremely Disappointed - Product Never Delivered and No Accountability I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Printful. I placed an order expecting it to be delivered reliably, but the product never arrived. According to the tracking information they provided, the package was allegedly delivered to my building by USPS, who received it from UPS. However, the USPS tracking number provided by Printful isn't even valid. I went directly to USPS, and they confirmed that the number does not exist in their system. When I contacted Printful for help, their response was absolutely unacceptable. They claim that they don't work with USPS and that it's UPS's fault. They essentially told me it's not their problem and that they're not responsible for misplaced packages by UPS. This is outrageous. I didn't order anything from UPS or USPS--I ordered from Printful, and it is their responsibility to ensure the product I purchased gets delivered. Shifting the blame to shipping carriers while refusing to take accountability is terrible customer service. I paid for a product I never received, and Printful is doing nothing to make it right. If I could escape the nightmare that is Printful's quality control, I would've done it faster than their shirts fade--after just 15 washes. We've been ordering work shirts for our employees for two years, and honestly, I've seen paper towels hold up better. Over 60 shirts, out of a batch of 260, are now faded, torn, or full of holes. At this point, it's more of a Swiss cheese look than a uniform. And don't get me started on customer service! Printful's answer: "It's probably how you're washing them." Right... because our magical laundry somehow only targets Printful shirts and spares every other brand. I'm convinced these shirts are allergic to water. Awful print jobs, long ship time and no customer service. On February 25th I ordered two 24x36 prints. I uploaded two images to be printed through Printful. I sent these two prints through with the Printful recommended color profile of sRGB IEC61966-2.1 to ensure colors were true in my proofing viewer compared to expected print results. However, instead of printing closely to the colors provided, when the prints were finally delivered on March 6, both printed nothing like the images submitted. They are dark, muted and cool in tone compared to the print file especially in areas of green/yellow and shadows were darker as well SEE BELOW. I immediately notified Printful via their report a problem feature on March 6 attaching images of the original file and the resulting print. I followed up 24 hours later. On March 7 Printful replied, stating he saw the issue, confirmed I submitted them correctly and would see what the graphics team recommended. I waited two days and they did not follow up although I did inform them this was a time sensitive matter especially given how long it took them to send the original prints. I followed up on March 9. I was ignored. I followed up again on March 11 and I was ignored. I followed up again on March 12 and asked for a refund. I was ignored. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and sent that to them on March 13 and asked for a refund. I was ignored. This company offers PRINTS--They are PRINTFUL?! LOOK at that print? It's absolutely AWFUL. They AGREED. Then they just decided to NEVER RESPOND TO ME AGAIN and KEEP MY MONEY. What a FRAUD! They falsely advertised a product, provided specific printing requirements for that product, failed to deliver the product as ordered, acknowledged they erred, ignored me for days and refused to refund the product. I have had people buy my products on ebay and then printful puts them on hold demanding that I chance the image file or cancel them. They have zero respect for diversity of though. This isn't about copyright or anything. I've had only text shirts be completely rejected because on messaging like "stop grooming children." They are great if you have nutral messaging, but they are horribly if you want the right to make meaningful statements unless they agree completely with the statement. Unfortunately, I have not had a great experience with Printful. Some items have come out OK, but I've also had some fuzzy images, double printed images, items shipping very late, and someone else's order arriving in my package. Sometimes the customer service helps resolve things quickly. Sometimes not. I also question all of the brand ambassadors who are paid to promote the service on social media. Printful brags that their affiliates have earned over $2 million from commissions. Makes me distrust the positive reviews I've seen. Anyway, I've decided to close my POD eStore after too many negative reviews about Printful products. The first issue is the inferior quality of items and printing. We used and ordered a wide range of shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, water bottles, phone cases, jackets, and dozens of more items over the last 9 months. The product quality and printing were always inferior - faded and blurred even though their system assured the print quality and files were good. The worst part has been dealing with them when multiple packages placed by various customers fail to arrive. They do nothing to track or notify of these events and then absolutely refuse to assist in any way to help resolve the issue. They refer you to a website that is in Chinese and proceeds to tell you that you're on your own from there since they have it marked that they sent it out. After several customer complaints, we gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the same issue keeps reoccurring, and they refuse to help or support us. It has been one problem after another, and they refuse to take any accountability for assisting the customer using their platform. In addition to these major issues, they have a bunch of hidden fees and price increases that they do not inform you of so we were actually losing money on many items even AFTER we marker them up 5-10%! Again, we wanted and tried to make this service work and gave them more than enough chances to help us stay a customer. If SERVICE and quality are essential to you and your customers, you should avoid using Printful by all means necessary. read more

spent countless hours (60 to 80) creating over 200 items from hoodies and tees to stickers and notebooks. the process to create a store is relatively painless, if time consuming but actually getting a sold item to the customer, that's another thing. my first sale was $125 in a hoodie and a shirt. printful placed the entire amount in my bank. i knew that was wrong and it took over a week to figure out how to get it out the door and to my customer. the reply i received from "support" was essentially, "we don't care. it's how we do it, sucker." i thought i was prepared for the log in, click click click, scroll scroll choose click click click click click but i was mistaken. my next sale, two sticker sheets for 20 bucks plus shipping never made it out the door and i was never paid. i logged into printful to find out why and discovered 90 items of 218 were not synced, including the sold item. without defining what "synced" means (printful doesn't), i tried to sync the sold item and get it out the door. no such way. instead of using the file that is already there, they want me to create the sheet all over again. is that what i have to do 89 more times? 'cause if so, i'm just deleting the entire store and calling the experience an incredibly wasteful drain of time and effort. what a complete nightmare. I opened up a merch shop several months ago with Printful. I have had a total of 10 orders placed and 50% of them arrived after the estimated delivery date. I brought this to Printful's customer services' attention by sharing my orders and shipping times with them. They said that this just my personal statistic and not their overall statistic. They said although their estimated delivery dates are quite accurate, products may arrive later due to weather and other related shipping delays. My research shows anything below 95% accuracy on the estimated shipping date range is a poor rating and it is better to not give your customer an estimated date if your accuracy rate is below 95%. When I asked Printful if they can remove the estimated date or allow the shop owner to adjust the date they told me that they do not offer that service (something they say to me often). They then sent me to a suggestion box. Another one of my orders never arrived at the customer's door. Printful generally dose not take responsibility for this because it is a mail carrier issue. They said they would be nice though and reprint and ship it for me this time and they asked me to verify the shipping address. I provided a new address. They chose to send it to the old address because it is in their policy that they can't change shipping addresses. Then why did they ask my to verify the address? When I need help correcting Printful's errors they frequently tell me it's not in their policy to do xyz. I had another order that was going to be delivered a few days late. I needed the order before the weekend for a networking event that I was going to out of state. I saw that the package was in transit in a city I was going to be driving through the following day. I called UPS to see if they can reroute it to a UPS store in that city so I can pick it up on time. UPS said I would need the sender to confirm that that's okay. Printful said it is not in their policy to do that for me and refused to help me even though they shipped the package out too late for it to be delivered on time. When I did finally get the package after the weekend the size of the product was wrong. They did take responsibility for the sizing mistake and are reshipping it to me. It was been a week and I have not received it yet and don't seem to have a tracking number for that order. Some of these items turned out really cute. I just started with Printiful, and I chose specific products for my store. I wrote down the cost so that I can set my margins. While under construction, they tripled my cost. The original cost for a curve t-shirt originally was $8.97, I wrote it down. Now look at the price $17.95. There's more, every cost has been changed. Men's classic t was $4.62. Now it's $9.25. Well, you think you know a company and then they turn around and are unapologetic, unaccountable and inconsistent. I paid full price to get a mock-up made (during the holidays they don't offer mock-up discounts) for an all over shirt. The shirt itself is disgusting polyester, which is fine because I agreed to that. However, compared to the cotton shirts it's absolute garbage as far as the quality of stitching and construction. Expect loose threads and unseemly seams. I ordered 3 regular cotton shirts and 1 all over print shirt. The print quality on the all over is ATROCIOUS. Blurry, badly printed, awful I can't believe they let this product leave their shop. I uploaded a file that was 337 dpi and said "good" on the design page. They resized it to 150 dpi. When I asked why this is what I was told by two different prihtful representatives: Representative 1: tried to tell me I uploaded a 150 dpi file and should have uploaded something closer to 300 dpi, "It's the expected outcome due to 150DPI. It's within the appropriate range yet still could potentially result in a more or less blurry image. We would suggest increasing the DPI for this file; it should be better if it's around 300", the frustrating thing is that I did upload a file that was "337 dpi / good" THEY resized it to 150 dpi! Rep 2: "In cases when a customer uses an advanced design, we generate it and it's not 300 dpi anymore. That is why we recommend using files closer to 150 DPI to achieve better results" this is exactly the opposite of what their first representative told me. Both went on to be unapologetic and said this product quality is what I should expect so they are going to do nothing about it. So I got to say, you should expect subpar bad quality prints for the all over shirt. They SHOULD have a message on their design page where you upload images originally: "Warning! Your image is not sized correctly, we are going to make it atrocious by crushing it down to 150 dpi , while being unapologetic about it later!" In red. That would be clear to customers. They shouldn't say "337 dpi / good" in green. 1 star review for this company. It doesn't matter that they also have some good products, because they have some crummy ones and when you or your customers get a poor quality, badly constructed blurry shirt they will do nothing about it. I'm still not sure if I should have uploaded a 300 dpi or 150 dpi shirt because I got two contradicting responses from their representatives so they also have failed to answer me. The worst thing is it's so bad my 6 year old niece noticed (who the shirt is for) and asked me why hers is "fuzzy". Come on printful, a six year old has better quality control awareness than you. I ordered a sample hat and it turned out great. Then I ordered 30 hats. 17 of them came in with crooked stitching and/or offset bills. Since this was obviously a quality issue, I didn't think there would be a question, but I went round and round with customer service and spent hours trying to get them to refund those hats. After a ton of back and forth, they finally offered me a "one time credit of $150." By this time they had wasted so much of my time that I told them that I was asking for a refund for the 17 hats which would have been $246.50, and that they could keep their insulting offer and lose a customer forever. I had put in a $1500 which included a bunch of sample clothes and 100 mugs, which came out a little blurry, but since it was a retro logo, it wasn't something that really looked horrible. RUN AWAY!! Placed an order over two weeks ago but never received a confirmation email. I've reached out to customer support to get an update and they weren't able to find my order! My card got charged but no information about my order! Now I have to pay 70% extra with a different company to get my order done because deadline is in two days! Absolute rip off! read more

Customer Support is awful. They tossed me to almost 20 new representatives who had no knowledge of what they were claiming to know. Do not use this company. They never paid me for my portion for business merch. PayPal favored my side since they knew that this company was at fault. Instead of trying to help me. Printful has decent products but the poor customer service here continues to plague this company. You can't operate or grow a legitimate ecommerce store with Printful as your fulfillment partner because they don't care about their users. Now, they buy fake reviews and invested into fake marketing blogs to increase their rating and overshadow more authentic feedback from real users on review sites like Yelp. There Shopify app has serious sync issues and they have shipped the wrong size to one of our customers twice, and claimed it was an error our end. However, there's clearly a glitch in their API documentation. I've had an account with them for over 5 years and that means nothing to them. They miss a very important business concept called LTV (Life Time Value). They would prefer to lose potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars over the lifetime of a user than to spend the $8.00 it would take to fix or reship a product. That's just the truth. read more

Have been using Printful to print shirts on demand for almost a year now in connection with my Shopify store at BatchMag.com. It's been almost an entirely positive experience. It is so handy to have a service print and drop-ship so I don't have to worry about inventory and shipping. I did have one issue where Printful wasn't receiving my orders from Shopify for a few days, and Printful didn't really help at all after a handful of Support interactions. I had to manually enter and order 20+ orders to different customers an entire week after the orders were placed, and it ended up costing me more money than it was worth. They were not helpful at all. They acted like it wasn't there job to help me at all--just to write down that I had a problem. I also had an issue where a size of a shirt went out of stock, small, and I had loads of customers asking when it would be back in stock. Printful said it would auto-reconnect to Shopify when it was back in stock, but that wasn't the case. So after three months of waiting for it to be back in stock, they told me they actually had it in stock the whole time. I had to go through and create a brand new product, relink every single size, and contact all of those customers. It was such a pain and, again, they had no interest in helping me at all. The profit margins are almost not even worth it unless you want to gauge your customers for a few extra dollars. read more

Imagine: No need for inventory; tax shipping, printing designs on your t-shirts or coffee mugs, all taken care of. Printful allows you to open a store without having to worry about the multitude of things that previously stopped you. If they did a halfway decent job at all I would probably give them 5 stars just because of all they make possible. But more often than not, they fall far short of capable; I am writing this review, spending time which otherwise would have been used to practice piano, which means, Printful, once again, has me really PO'd! How in the world can a business survive and can do so many things badly. Of course, in a country that elected DT, nothing surprises me any more. I am not going to go into every detail, but there are little glitches when you synchronize items with a store that can drive you bonkers, often its easier to delete an item and start from scratch rather than edit to make a minor change. Today I learned that the three most recent orders (which were test orders for friends, so I didn't expect to make a profit anyway) would have each resulted in a loss, had a customer purchased the same items at the suggested retail given by Printful! And the shipping costs for two mugs was over 10.00 for each order. The dream of my own store is becoming a nightmare of wasted time as I suspect I will have to start over from scratch with a new drop shipper. VERY disappointed! If I wasn't dealing with a horrific family emergency (since January of 2017) I would have found another drop shipper by now. I suspect I will have to hire someone to that work for me. But Printful's days for my business are numbered. I don't know the emoji for angry, frustrated, wtf are these people at Printful doing, but if you do, please insert here.
