But, whhyyyy did they take the mock up photo of JUST the t-shirts away... I don't want to use the dude model for my t-shirts... I want JUST the t-shirt... I was going to use this company out because I had heard good things but was so turned off by the rude and extremely poorly educated customer service that I was like no thanks. I had to tell them to quit emailing me about an issue with a print I was doing, the woman was almost harassing in intent to try and prove that she was right when she was talking about something she clearly knew nothing about. I'm done with them. I have always had issues, but always the convenience and availability of shirts has always won me over. Yes, they carry a wide assortment of shirt styles and brands which are great, and the ability to easily create one-off's and small runs with a lot of options is brilliant. That said, print quality, QC, and production have A LOT to be desired. A few years ago, I did a huge run. I literally went to their headquarters to pick up the order. 1 out of 5 shirts had something a little off. There were about 3 shirts that the main printing was either totally off or the inside tags were double printed or placed really poorly. Speaking of inside tags, if you accidentally label the wrong country on that tag, they'll flag it and put your order on hold and not tell you. Also, the importance they put on those labels is a little asinine. Tell me the last time printed inside labels were more than the size and more than just a design element for the shirt artist?! Also, speaking of that order, now about 2 years in those prints are not holding up. They started as extremely vibrant but they've either started to peel or melt and fade. It's pretty pathetic. Lastly, my friend did a recent order of a few shirts with small typography going across the chest. They screwed that up, it's both peeling and misaligned. My refund was denied because of some hidden guidelines about the logo that conflicted with the approval I had previously received. They have an "estimated time" for production (which is already longer than most POD companies) and when they go over that time "and they do, A LOT" and you reach out, they just say "We will rush your order" but no movement happens on their end, you still have to wait up to one week and they always have one excuse or another. Your business ends up getting angry customers, bad reviews and canceled orders which you are stuck with because you can't return anything to Printful since they're "Print on Demand". They absolutely don't care about you or your business, so just know what you're going to deal with beforehand. read more

Overall, I've had a good experience with Printful. Just like with any other printing service, my customers have received a few products where I don't know they got past Printful's Quality Assurance department. So far, they've been quick to fix whatever problems I've had and shipped the replacement to my customers immediately and thankfully my customers have been understanding. Ordered two hats and the embroidery is off on every single location. Loose threads, odd stitching, crooked 3D, inconsistent digitizing and very poor communication. In the end they did nothing for me and told me to order again. Zero confidence in getting these hats sent to a customer. No sample ordering so it's just a shot in the dark. The lady even mentioned in the email they knew it wasn't going to embroider right so instead of contacting me they just printed the hats anyway? Update after Printful Yelp response: The reply I got is finger pointing at me when they are the problem which I really don't appreciate. Luckily after numerous reps contacting me Liva finally gave me an option to work with them to get the files done correctly and they will send me some more hats with the improved design. I'll update here when it's all said and done. Hopefully I'll be changing my rating and moving forward with hats through them a I really don't want to carry the all the overhead quite yet. read more

Terrible for Amazon/Ebay/Shopify stores - NO regard for customer service, delivery windows. Dishonest support answers. I run an Amazon store, a shopify store and an ebay store. I integrated printful to do some of the on demand printing. When Covid started, there seemed to be a mad rush to get my orders fulfilled as if they wanted to rush production before they got shut down. Then mid April every week a new change would happen with fulfillment times. Constantly changing their "window" on previously existing orders even though the orders were already placed under the delivery windows published at the time. So I would put an item on Amazon, going with the Covid scheduling, saying "This will ship in 14 business days...".. customer places order thinking this is true. 4 days later Printful changes its policy silently (unless you constantly check their ugly website blog) saying, orders take up to 4 weeks. So now what? 1st off, your Amazon seller metrics take a hit if you do not deliver the order within the original 14 days or if you cancel the order, and your customer can leave you a bad review because they didn't get their shirt on time.... Customer support takes no responsibility for this, simply saying "our blog updates show the timeframe"... Then when you think it can't get worse, Printful decides to start having orders for the USA printed in Latvia, at which point they sit in a warehouse waiting for other orders to ship to North Carolina where they then re-ship to the customers. Blank garments sourced in Europe are NOT materially the same as blank garments sourced in the USA. And they are not the items I ordered. Printful denies this though my Gildan rep does not. They also tell me that they can't cancel or rush an order as it is already sitting in Latvia and replace it with a USA order, even though I NEVER agreed to such a ridiculous fulfillment method. There is NO transparancy with Printful, their support tells me it will take 48 hours for a manager to "get back to me" then after 40 minutes of pushing i got to talk to someone in Latvia and then someone in NC all of which are dishonest. And here is a real unethical issue. Printful puts priority on Amazon store orders over eBay and Shopify store orders. With 99% of orders I got for all my stores of the same items going to the same places on the same days, the eBay and Shopify orders took 3-5 times longer to process/fullfil. They will NOT admit this, but it is happening internally. Avoid printful if you don't want to wait 4-6 weeks for your order to start being processed if you have an external store where metrics or feedback are important. You will take a hit and they will do NOTHING to rectify it. read more

I am a baseball cap guy and I have had Printful make me custom caps. Some for myself. And some for gifts. Quick turn around. Great quality, and altho I don't really care that much about price when talking clothing, and care more about the looks and quality and comfort, the prices are way cheaper than you would expect, which is always appreciated. Also, being a cap guy, I know a quality cap from a poor cap, and these are really nice thick attractive caps. Can't say how happy I am. read more

I been waiting a month now for a mock up on a galter mask that is custom made after my movie which we own the copyright .I spent $18 dollars with shipping and the product not a big deal but you think i will get the mask before corvid-19 is over...Don't ever get business in NY this is way to long for one mask its been a month nothing if i don't get it by June 15th that's over 6 weeks I will have report you guys. I've been using Printful for a number of years now and have gotten to know their team and process. Their blogs, resources, customer service, and integrations are top notch. I felt fully comfortable integrating my Shopify store with Printful and building up a brand I could be proud of. I have even helped a handful of others build up their Shopify+Printful integrations! I used to sell shirts out of my apartment, and being able to create designs and share them with the world WITHOUT having to worry about inventory or shipment was well worth the profit margins I was losing by using a POD service. The reason I am giving them three stars is because of the quality control issues that I am seeing more and more. I wish it was just anecdotal instances here and there from other people, but I myself have experienced a handful of prints that are mis-aligned (the main issue) or blurry. It's becoming harder and harder for me to trust that I can use Printful to back up my brand since I don't want it to be associated with blurry, mis-aligned, and less than vibrant prints (a default issue with direct to garment printing). Their solution right now is for a picture of the mis-print to be sent so that the product can be replaced if necessary. This process is problematic for a few reasons. A customer who has waited a long time in some instances for the products now has to send a complaint to me. They are already angry and frustrated and now have a negative image of the brand. I have to ask them to take a picture and ship the product back. I can eat this cost or ask them to pay for the cost of shipping the product back to me. Neither of which are desired solutions. Then Printful will send out a replacement. This entire process is long and unnecessary if the product went through some kind of quality control in the first place; simply taking a few seconds to make sure the print looks like the mock-up. I'm torn because I love how they operate and want to keep using them for my business, but find myself doubting my future with them for the first time ever. I know Printful invests into their infrastructure quite a bit, but perhaps they need to do a complete overhaul of their quality control system. That would DEFINITELY make them a world class service and company. read more

Sent in an order to be printed and received a shirt that was printed in low quality and random white spots that were not included in the original design. Upon reaching out to support I was told that random white spots are to be expected and that in no way is the company responsible or will do anything in their power to fix. Super upset with my first experience with this company and customer support. Now I have a shirt that looks nothing like I design. The quality doesn't even match a shirt quality you would buy at a store. Very unhappy with EMILS S. and the poor customer support as nothing was done to resolve my problem. We've been using print full for a little over a year now for our non-profits branded clothing, everything was great, the shirts were a good quality, our orders were fulfilled in a timely manner, and our logos/graphics weren't printing off center or crooked. But ever since COVID they have severely lacking in every aspect; shirts take longer to ship, customer service is absolutely atrocious, and almost all our shirts being purchased by our community have been having issues with the logo being off center and/or crooked. When we brought up the issue, they blamed our organization for their failures, we have never had an issue before and know for a fact that it is not our fault because we haven't done anything different from when we first started working with them. We constantly receive messages stating issues with their shirts and no matter what we do, Printful doesn't seem to care and only want to blame us for the issues. Because of this we have been forced to search for other companies to produce our merchandise. Side note, the colors don't ever really match the brightness of the png file either, so we weren't always happy about that but we tried to overlook it being that we were supporting a local business. read more

The service is okay if you are printing in bulk and can afford to deal with receiving products that aren't all of equal quality. If you are interested in using them to drop ship or for any time sensitive don't do it. Their production times will sometimes inexplicably take longer than they quote. When this happens it is impossible to find out what is happening. They will then encourage you to buy expedited shipping services claiming they prioritize those orders but after they have your money nothing happens. Only use them for drop shipping if you can afford to lose customers or receive low ratings from your customers. read more

I used Printful to drop print and ship shirts for a t-shirt company a few years ago and things worked great. I never had problems with the print quality or customer service. I closed it down though because I just didn't have time to continue working on the shop. A few weeks ago I wanted to start selling some designs again so I ordered 5 samples of some new designs. Boy was I in for a surprise - 4 out of the 5 shirts had terrible print quality (blurry lines, misplaced prints, cheap looking ink, speckled colors). This is shocking considering I made sure that all my designs were well above 300 dpi, color matched everything, and centered designs on the shirts. I reached out to support showing pictures and asking for a refund. It's been two days and I haven't heard anything helpful, just "we can see there are some problems with the prints." Gee thanks. I'm not sure what has changed since I used their service a few years ago. I know that companies grow and outsource support and hire on new employees that may not know how to use a printer, but it's sad to see such a useful service become such a disappointment. Loved the hats! But it wasn't enough to keep everything afloat. I paid for express, and noticed the last day for delivery on express was the day we were in. I messaged them and told them if I can get any feedback for the clothes as they were stuck in the beginning on a progress bar. When I reached out I was given a refund for the express delivery and was given complimentary express delivery which was an additional 2 days, no problem on my end. When I contacted them I also expressed about the prints of everything is coming out right or was there any problems, I was told by the rep they pride themselves for using DTG printers and whatever is on the image is printed fine and was assured I did not have to worry about the print. Well I waited the days for delivery and received my product. The hats were amazing, I loved the embroidery done. When I saw the sweater the front print was alright not to bad, the different color needed to print the colors didn't really bother me, but when I looked at the back, my companies logo was not printed completely. I reached out to customer service, and had this escalated 2 different occasions by 2 people from my company, myself being one of them. Both times the representatives did acknowledge they were aware this might happen and made decisions to print it anyway. When I expressed with the rep that I purchased the product based off of the mock up showing that my image was being printed full, not something they weren't sure about. To which the rep explained that they could not do anything, I tried to reason and told them if I can send it back and they just add the part of the print that wasn't there, Id be ok with it, they said it was outside their scope of work. So I said I cannot pay for this I'm going to send it back, can we have this arranged. When it was escalated I was met with the same response that they could not help me with this problem, as I should have known how their printers worked. Now mind you, I was sold on the product that was being shown to me inside of the mock up, I did not receive the product that was shown to me inside the mark up. I reached out and tried to reason to which I was met with wall after wall being told that they weren't sure if that was how I intended the image to be printed. To which I asked, why didn't they ask me, isn't there a quality control? You can kind of see how stressful that is, long story short, I had to reach out to my bank and explain what happened, what I ordered, why I purchase the product, and how the product was not what I purchased, and that printful did not want to help me unless I placed a brand new order. Printful's customer service is absolutely godawful. Well, I should say the complete lack of customer service. I have been using Printful for almost two years, and for the most part things are ok. It's the rare occasion when I need to contact their support team that's a nightmare. All of their agents are taught to argue with their customers instead of simply actually offering service. I have already moved most of my products to Printify instead, which is way cheaper, often way faster, and I never have to get furious when I contact them. The only things I kept at Printful are mugs and tees, because usually it's worth it for the slightly better quality. But I can tell you this -- if I have one more bad customer service experience with them, I'm done. read more

The site is very user friendly and on weekdays (yeah, only weekdays), during office hours, chat support is helpful. The quality has so far been much better than anywhere else we have used.... and their recent integration with Etsy is pretty great... HOWEVER, production and shipping is unbelievably slow sometimes, and I have received customer complaints about how f***ing slow they are. For example, I had a customer place an order on Tuesday for a simple shirt that usually is finished quickly- it's now Saturday, and they're closed, so maybe if we're lucky they'll print it Monday, but who knows. Not only do they charge a superfluous amount of money to make their shitty ass prints, but they charge you additional surcharges and will also charge you extra for shipping if your customers order products in bulk that aren't produced by printful. They literally take over half your profit with their expensive ass printing fees, surcharges, and shipping fees that you shouldn't have to pay for after the customer has already paid for them. If I could rate less than one star I would! I placed 17 orders (over $700+ worth) for customized shirts for my company to receive branded logo shirts. The order was placed on October 22nd. After two weeks of my order staying in the "waiting for fulfillment" phase in my order notifications, I reached out to Printful's customer service, who relayed to me that all items were out of stock, and would not be in stock until December 1st. This WAS NOT communicated to me in any way prior to me ordering or after me ordering the items. In fact, on the site, it listed all items as in stock. What was more frustrating, was that Printful sent me notifications that the items had package slips ready for shipping. How do you have a package slip for a shipment that is not in stock? This company is a SCAM and I would not refer them to any business! read more

They are blaming FedEx but I see that o lay the label was created and never provided to the courier. it's now been over 3 days and nobody knows where my order is. All I get is scripted lies and told to wait. I should have received the order by now but it's MIA and they just want me to wait and offered a measly $44 bucks. it takes forever to fulfill item and to process delivery. they claim they do that they send out for delivery same day it is received but that is clearly a lie. EVERY SINGLE ORDER I HAVE HAD PROCESSED HERE HAS BEEN LATE! I am left with an upset customer and a blemish on my business because of them. Avoid doing business here. I ordered 3 sample orders. 1 matte paper print, 1 gildan tshirt, 1 gildan heavyblend hoodie. -The matte paper print was alright. It was very matte and had a soft velvety texture, but I received it in a tube like packaging which made it hard to straighten. My print also had 2 scratch like marks that wouldn't come off. -The gildan shirt took forever to make. It took about a week and a half for them to sort, print, pack, and fulfill my order just because I didn't put the right information on the inside label. Anyways, the shirt was good quality but the printing quality of the design looked terrible on the shirt. It was very low quality and It looked like I could just peel the printing off. It also looked like someone used a brush to paint small spots on the tshirt. -The heavyblend hoodie that I got also looked so terrible. I printed a big art piece on the back of the hoodie and the quality of the print was the same as the shirt I got. It looked like it would start to peel off if you use and wash it often. The hoodie also had a hole on the left arm! What a waste of money... Printful is so not worth it unless you don't care about QUALITY. read more
