I use S & J, in spite of the fact that they are all the way across the country from me because: They are completely competitive in price with anyone -including the largest companies They pay attention to details -they recognize problems when they occur and fix them. I've had one large company print jackets WITH THE TEMPLATE LAYER STILL ON! 1000 CDs showed up with the word "TEMPLATE" on top of the art on the front! Are they even looking at these jobs? I can't imagine this type of error ever coming out of S&J. They actually look at the work and will question anything that looks odd to them. Personal attention -I deal with the owner, Jeff Fravela, who actually works on my jobs. He calls me when there's a problem and will work with me to make the job right. (Some of these big companies will make you reload all your files when all that has to be done is nudging an element over a pixel or a layer turned off) Jeff takes care of the simple stuff that I can't believe some of these other companies will throw back in my lap. If you live anywhere besides Riverside/Downtown/Springfield it's only a few blocks off 95 Park Street exit. Some items can be pricey but they work with you when you need something special-which is different than a place you'd order online. You get to speak with an actual human face to face and are able to explain what you want with visuals rather than just over the phone. They also print on fabrics and canvas. My favorite thing to use them for is large scale scans of artwork. It's the only place in town I found to do them-other than finding a professional photographer who will take photos of your work then give you the images. They charge $5 a scan. So awesome! They can also transfer the files to you using a file transfer utility app (like Dropbox) or you can bring a thumb drive with you. Try them out for yourself!
