Service wasn't above and beyond or outstanding in any way, but my relationship with Staples is very transactional. I get what I need and leave. It's open and bright in the store, and everything is neatly organized. I will definitely be back if I need more paper knowing this store opens early!

In these digital times, a good office supply store is sometimes hard to find. In Toronto, the old…read moreGrand & Toy stores are gone, as are a good choice of analog planners. The remaining chain standing appears to be Staples which seems to be sprinkled throughout this metro area. Gayle and I just happened to walk by as we were walking from our Hilton Hotel to the nearby Royal Ontario Museum. We left with a package of rubber bands, a box of paper clips, and expanding file folder (no paperless in our house) and a cool LEGO Unicorn for one of our granddaughters. The store is nicely laid out, although actually finding what I was looking for was somewhat confusing as the analog selections were spread out in-between the digital offerings. I never did find the 2024 Brownline planner (made in Canada) that I was looking for, but I guess that's why ordering online helps. Our checkout was also unexpectedly slow as you never know what the customer ahead of you is up to.

They refused to return my wallet, and I was forced to call 911 to have police respond. I waited and recorded until the police showed up, all while the employees continued to refuse to return my wallet. Once the police showed up, they threatened to charge the employees with theft if it was not returned, and I was eventually then able to get it back. Avoid at all costs!

It was over a year that I had moved from Vancour to Toronto because of work. The first thing came to my mind, call closest UPS to find if they can help (The UPS Store 42 - 125A-1030 Denman Street Vancouver, BC V6G 2M6, Tel: 604.689.1243. I was very nerves when I called store 42, but I was extremely lucky to speak with a lovely lady (Raha), she said, she will send someone to the apartment to pick up the box and then she will ship the box to Toronto. She called me 3 time: after picking up the box, confirm the address and collect credit card number, and finally one last time when she finished processing the paper work to let me everything done, and then email me the receipt. All this process was done in less than an hour on phone from Toronto. I am grateful to Raha doing this for a stranger, and I strongly recommend The UPS Store 42. Babak S Toronto, Ontario M5V 3V9

I was looking for a printing center where I can go after work, finally I ran into TPH! This…read moreprinting center opens 22hr/weekday. It is right at Union station, at the underground level of Brookfield place. This location offers basic paper printing services with variety of paper to choose from. Their other locations also do 3D printing, and laser cut. The man who works at this location looks very serious (I was a little intimidated at first).but he is actually very nice and professional. I would suggest to contact them first before having anything printed.

I was pretty excited to have it magically transform into a beautiful piece of art that I could show off to potential employers. Except when I walked in the door, I was greeted by less than friendly staff. I didn't expect to be given a tiara and a glass of champagne, but I think I stood at the counter for 10 minutes before someone helped me. Then the guy who served me kind of gave me the "yah? What do you want" routine and so I coyly suggested I have some of the pages redone and the cover re-bound. I asked if he suggest I do anything else and he said he didn't know. He then swiftly took my stuff away and came back 15 minutes later with my semi-new portfolio in hand. He rang up what I owed him while answering a phone call. He didn't look at me or have the courtesy to call the guy back while he finished serving me. I left feeling deflated that I hadn't asked for more help or been more assertive, but I didn't have the energy. Shouldn't these people WANT to help you? WANT to make something look professional and beautiful that you'd be proud of, and then, presumably, you'd suggest their services to your friends (or potential employers?) I dunno, maybe not all TPH locations are like this, but I'll never go back here again.
