While I still thought the printing itself was a bit pricey, his services still cost me less than FedEx would have, and they were quick and reliable. While they don't stock as much in terms of paper or pens anymore, they are very tech heavy and offer workshops on how to use the products we rely on (such as laptops, phones, headphones and tablets) and printing services as so many of us don't have printers anymore or for when you're in need of professional quality work. I think there's even a Starbucks in this location for if you need a drink while you shop and there is lots of bike parking out front and on the side for cyclists. This particular location is well spaced out, has whatever you need for home or office or home office solutions, and is priced pretty fairly, and has a couple washrooms too which are handy in this time of pandemic lockdowns. I waited and recorded until the police showed up, all while the employees continued to refuse to return my wallet. Except when I walked in the door, I was greeted by less than friendly staff. I didn't expect to be given a tiara and a glass of champagne, but I think I stood at the counter for 10 minutes before someone helped me. Then the guy who served me kind of gave me the "yah? What do you want" routine and so I coyly suggested I have some of the pages redone and the cover re-bound. I asked if he suggest I do anything else and he said he didn't know. He then swiftly took my stuff away and came back 15 minutes later with my semi-new portfolio in hand. He rang up what I owed him while answering a phone call. He didn't look at me or have the courtesy to call the guy back while he finished serving me. I left feeling deflated that I hadn't asked for more help or been more assertive, but I didn't have the energy. Shouldn't these people WANT to help you? WANT to make something look professional and beautiful that you'd be proud of, and then, presumably, you'd suggest their services to your friends (or potential employers?) Never, ever go to World of Posters on Queen West if you need things framed…read more I'd heard they were affordable and that their frames were simple, and I needed a number of pieces framed, so I checked it out. The man there was really short with me, but he seemed to know what he was doing, so I decided to go with them despite getting a weird vibe. After I picked the pieces up, I realized that he WROTE ON MY MOST EXPENSIVE PIECE. He clearly made a list of my orders on a piece of paper ON TOP OF MY PRINT. Now when it's hung on the wall, you can see writing all over it, so clear that the words are legible. The words "World of Posters" and descriptions of each piece are completely distinguishable, as well as a few finger print smudges that attract the eye. This is a signed piece that I can't just casually replace with a trip to ebay. I'm going to be going back this weekend and demanding a full refund because that is atrocious, and my print is completely ruined. I'd been looking forward to getting this framed after I carefully carried it home on the train from Montreal, and I couldn't be more upset or disappointed. Update: they refused to compensate me for the damage unless they could take the print an resell it. Apparently if their framer messes up, the customer is the one who should pay for it. Delightful.

I have always had a great experience here, the staff are helpful and friendly, and using the onsite computers to access the information you need to print is always easy and hassle free. I definitely recommend this place for general printing needs!
