We see them 2x a year for service and each service is scheduled about 30 days in advance by their friendly office staff. They're always punctual come appointment time which I really appreciate. When they guy is here we only see him for a minute or two before he starts doing his thing. I assume they're doing great work, because whenever there's a power outage the generator starts up without any issue. All in all we're very happy with GenPro. I'd definitely recommend them for generator maintenance in Bucks County.

My shower door guy urged me to do that before he installs the new shower door. So, I needed an electrician who could install my lights lickety-split. My contractor's electrician, who did the wiring for the heated floor, was too busy to install my lights. Therefore, late Sunday afternoon, I came to Yelp to find a good local electrician, who had the ability to do the job this week. Lucky me: I found Jason Klein. I was immediately impressed with his many great reviews. I used the Yelp platform to create a project SPECIFICALLY addressed to Jason. I explained my urgency to complete the lighting installation this week so that my shower door can be installed next week. Jason responded via Yelp's platform almost immediately. Wow! He said that he could do the project on my timeframe. Long story short, Jason's crew showed-up a little before 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, and they finished before noon. The guys installed 6 new recessed lights (3 in my bathroom and 3 in my closets). They were polite and they did a great job. The icing on the cake is that they were very neat: they wore booties inside (YES!), they laid-down tarps on the floor (Thank you!!) they covered the clothes in my closets with plastic (WooHoo!!!) and they vacuumed (Doing my Happy Dance!!!!). Throughout the process, Jason stayed in contact with me by phone/text, so I knew what was going on and exactly when his guys would arrive. I'm very pleased with Jason Klein Electric and I will definitely use them again. (I'm renovating my kitchen next.) (As an aside, I'm a bit dissatisfied with Yelp's tool for creating "Projects." I thought that I had selected a specific electrician from whom to request a quote. I included my phone number in the details. I was disappointed to find that my Project had been shared with others, who also responded. Some of them did not appear to be licensed electricians. I sent an email to Yelp's Privacy Officer inquiring as to whether that was appropriate. No response yet. No matter. I won't use that Project tool again.)

Two young employees arrived. I asked them to spread a tarp since there would be drywall dust and…read morebits of debris as a result of the planned work. When they put down the tarp, I noticed it was VERY dirty, with tiny pieces of drywall debris on it. I asked them to remove it and then shake it outside. When they lifted it from the floor, I saw that the floor was coated with white drywall dust. So *both* sides of the tarp were dirty. Lack of attention to detail and lack of respect for the client's home. Not ok. At some point I suggested we cover the granite countertop where one of the employees was working to protect it from damage in case a tool should accidentally drop on it. Instead of accommodating my (reasonable) request, he resisted, saying "Nothing will drop". Not ok.

I hired PEM to do four electrical projects in my home, one of which involved wiring additional light fixtures in 20 foot ceiling with difficult access. Prior to getting an estimate from PEM, I contacted two of the three electrical contractors recommended in the local "Best Report". For $69 one of them provided an estimate that seemed high - insanely high in retrospect - and the other couldn't find time to schedule a visit to give me a paid estimate. PEM's owner spent half an hour here, took pictures, answered my open-ended questions and followed up with a free estimate. The insanely expensive guys took 90 minutes, tightened some screws in the main box, but never adequately communicated what fixtures they'd use or how they'd do the work. PEM distinguished itself by providing not only rational pricing, but also by explaining how they'd achieve a uniform appearance of new and retrofit fixtures in the 20 foot ceiling. They subsequently completed all four projects exactly as specified. I expect to use PEM for future projects. Ironically, the fact the estimate was free wasn't a key appeal. The key appeal is the competence and professionalism. I'm a somewhat more sophisticated consumer of these services than many people, having managed construction in employment settings and having personally done renovation and remodeling, including some wiring. The PEM technicians arrived on time, did all the work in an extremely neat and professional fashion and exhibited competence and courtesy in every respect. read more

I bought an EV car charger and needed a 240V line, as well as the charger installed. The line had to be run from the circuit breaker on one side of the house to the garage on the other side of the house. They gave me various recommendations and included me in the decision making. They were able to run the wire with minimal drilling and totally out of sight. The township inspector was very impressed with the professional job and the work they did to meet all of the electrical building codes. There was excellent communication from the quote to completion of the work. They were very knowledgeable. I had been having a problem with my electrical service. Once circuit was fluctuating power. I had others look at it, some wanted to rip my walls open. Princeton Electrical Makeover came in, suspected the problem was in my main panel and gave me an estimate that also included further diagnostics should it be more than a panel issue. The crew that did the work was very professional and thorough. They replaced the panel box, also replace GFI receptacles and tested all circuits. They spent alot of time to insure all problems were resolved. I would use these guys again for any further electrical work. Reasonable price, cleaned up all work areas and did an excellent job. This is my third time using PEM. Each time they were professional, thorough, and very knowledgeable. A few years ago I had them replace my outdated breaker box. Then they fixed my exterior lamp post. He gave me a few options to fix my issue with a most cost effective option. What I appreciated was his willingness to let me watch his work. He walked me through his trouble shooting method. It ended up being a faulty gas valve, which is what I had concluded prior to him showing up. Of course there was a markup on the part but that's to be expected. It's a business and I know I was paying for the convenience of the repair done right and at that time. It took him 2 hours to do the job. This included bringing something to code that my installer (no longer available) had done via a shortcut. All in all, it was a great job that was professionally executed. And my technician was awesome! I highly recommend this company. Also, I believe they are still an independent company and not a subsidiary following a buy out. That's good! Oh, why not 5 stars? Well, I had hoped the invoice would have been below $1000. It's the cost of doing business and unfortunately I was not prepared to shop this one around.

Indoor Air installed a new Trane AC system for us and we used their annual check up service for…read moreyears. During our most recent system check-up (2022) they replaced a small switch while they were performing the annual service. They charged $300 for the part plus labor (it took 2 minutes), on top of the $160 annual service charge. We later realized the unit was still under warranty yet Indoor Air charged us for the work. It took four conversations to get them to fix their problem and they acted as if they were doing us a favor. One week later they had to come back because system kept shutting off. Apparently the condenser pump wasn't working: would have been nice if they tested it as they should have during our annual checkup. We were quoted $418 to replace it. The pump plugs in and is readily available on Amazon and at Home Depot for $60. We were being overcharged. Won't use them again.
