In less than 2 weeks I went back twice to have them reapply the 5 nails that came off during that time. I always leave very happy! Vivienne does my nails at Princess Nails. I do still make appointments and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Great for a lunch break visit. I'm always done within 45 minutes which is great. read more

i went to this place for a full set and i showed the picture of what i wanted. the woman was just doing what she wanted to my nails, i had tried talking to her many times about the shape i wanted and she just kept ignore then when i said i wanted to leave she had a younger women try my nails and i still didn't like the shape and wanted to leave that's when they got very rude blaming me for having bad nails even though i have had nails for years and i never got told my nails were the problem for a bad shape. so i said i would pay for whatever i had to but they just grabbed my hand and cut them all off and she made me bleed and i just had to leave cause they were so rude. do not go here read more

So, this was my first time going to this location after moving from Hartford and I love the prices. I wanted simple Gel nails and they were not as expensive as I was expecting! Nice and sweet staff and the lady who did my nails was very kind. Besides that, my nails when looking at them, after leaving were a little off. I'm guessing it was just something you miss sometimes. Then after the 3rd day, they started cracking!! I was devastated usually they all last for at least a week to two weeks and it's only been 3 days!! I will be sure to go back because of the prices but maybe a little thicker to prevent this from happening next time. This place has good prices, but it is not worth it. My nails got so badly infected. I got acrylics and at first it wasn't bad but after a fill or two they started turning yellow. After taking off the acrylics I barely had nails left. Most were broken in the center and in the middle of my nail their is skin showing. I wouldn't go here again . read more

I went there with a Groupon and parking was a little difficult (either on the street or in the garage across the street). The lady that did my mani-pedi was great. She was the only Spanish woman there. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. She took her time scrubbing and pampering my feet. However, the nailpolish was very thick and she did not thin it down. I regret the minute I stepped foot into that place. She was on the phone and I just sat politely until she was done and she greeted me as if I was the one being rude. I told her I wanted an eyebrow wax and she told me to follow her. The wax was too hot when she first applied it and the second application she finally blew on it to cool it down. BUT SHE WAXED MY EYELIDS BOTH TIMES. The pain was horrible and no apology or anything. I have a scar on my eyelid from the heat of the wax and she barely bothered to clean the wax off my face. She handled me like she would an enemy ripping the strip as hard as she could and not bothering to check temperature. I will NEVER patron this place again. read more

I was admiring two girls nail art when I asked the where they got there nails done. They both went to princess nails in new Britain. So I thought I give it a try, The owner was very thoughtful about not letting my car get towed. She actually went outside and showed me where to park it does cost to park but she had the quarters to sell, she finished my nails quickly and they were done exactly as I asked for them to be. The cost is very reasonable 23.00 for a full set of nails and 33.00 with color changing gel. The owner runs her place with her son and daughter, while I was there a woman told me about her love of the pedicures and how thoroughly the massage was done. That I will be doing next for only 23.00 or a much more intense version for 33.00 . The daughter painted the salon in a bright green and drew flowers and birds all over the walls. The place was dusty but what do you expect with nail dust flying everywhere everyday. The plants were done for and it was messy but for a reasonable good nail day I will go back. The work is great the cleanliness is not. read more
