Pictured is the builder gel manicure I received tonight. This was my second visit and my first time getting a manicure here. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My nails were not smooth, the color application was uneven, and there are noticeable bumps on the nail beds. The nail tips are also rough and uncomfortable, when they should feel smooth. I returned so they could attempt to fix both my nails and pedicure, but the results were still disappointing. While I appreciate the effort to correct the work, I would have preferred a refund instead. Sadly, I won't be returning. A hidden gem in the heart of Korea town. This nail salon has a parking lot so it is easy to access and find parking. It was really easy to get an appointment on a Friday afternoon. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and the two ladies were working on my hands and feet simultaneously which helped save a lot of time. They were both very thorough and took their time making sure each finger/toe was even, cuticles were removed, and the shape was all the same. I got a white manicure for a photoshoot and they suggested this pearly blue sheen to go on top of the white coat and also helped pick the other color for my toes when I was indecisive. They were both super helpful and detailed in doing my nails. Will definitely be back when I'm back in Ktown. read more

Possibly the worst gel manicure I have ever gotten I came in with the pictures, simple designs so simple and she wasted my time and gave me the ugliest design $120. I paid for nothing I complained before I paid about the sale and I showed her the picture versus what she did she didn't offer any discount or anything just charge me $120 for a style that I'm gonna have to redo tomorrow. Been to this place a couple of times because it's the closest nail salon near my house. It's usually not too busy so you can easily walk in. I wouldn't say it's the best salon I've been to, but it's decent and the nail technicians are friendly. I came in 15 mins early to check in and told them I'll be waiting in my car but I'm here. I came back and somehow there were two people sitting that came after me. 2. It was 12pm and I was sent to my chair. I waited 40 mins to get any service because they overbooked. 3. The owner came in and she didn't help her team knowing that it was busy. 4. The whole service (mani/pedi) was horrible. My toe nails are uneven. The polish application was inconsistent. The guy didn't use gloves for my mani and he also didnt use a softener when pushing my cuticles. Overall, they were nice however, not returning. read more

I want to like this place!! It's so close to my house and I love supporting my neighborhood businesses - but I can't recommend this place. It's worn and tired and that shows everywhere you look. The massage seats are cracked and the pillows are worn thin - and that's ok - but not if you're going to charge $50 for a "regular" mani/pedi. In addition, the salon is dirty - and that's not ok. The floor is dirty and the walls are dirty - it's like the owners just stopped caring. And perhaps all of that could be forgiven but they RUSHED me through my services even after I had waited 45 minutes past the time of my appointment to begin. No massage on my hands or feet? For $50 before tip? I debated about giving this only two stars but the people who work there are kind so I'm giving it three. And yes I tipped. But my biggest tip? Find another salon. read more

I have lived down the street for 20+ years and did not know that this place was even opened for 7 of them! Me and my best friend walked in on a Monday afternoon not knowing if they were opened or full, but to our surprise they were available for the both of us! The lady that welcomed us was so sweet and funny! The nail salon is SUPER clean and very nicely decorated. We sat on the spa chairs which were oh so amazing, I need one of these at home! Made a next day appt for Sunday , walked in, very nice lady, quiet shop yet comfortable. First she did my polish change on gel x which most manicurist don't do or warn against. The results were wonderful and painted on all edges and crevices how I like them, perfect! Then she did my pedi in a massage chair which I took full advantage of, she was gentle even with the roughest toes on earth. She gave a wonderful foot massage long enough for me to close my eyes and enjoy. After that, people started walking in talking about they're here for their appts. She did a marvelous paint job on the toes! Although it started to get busy with customers at the close of a Sunday, she single handedly handled all of her clients with poise and ease, and gave us each special attention as if we were the only customer being tended to. In fact, it's probably one of the best gel manis I've received, in terms of product quality. The paint was applied very evenly and the end result is smooth with no bubbles or bumps! I asked my nail tech (Not sure what her name is but I heard someone call her what sounded like Ghandi....) to file down my nails to the length of the shortest nail and she did just that while shaping perfectly too! I've been going to Princess Nail for the last five years and they've lost a customer. I went for the affordable prices, and the workers are all nice and polite despite them only staffing 1 person who's doing services. I had an appointment at 4pm and when I got there the owner, who always seem to be frazzled, gets off the phone and tells me there's a customer who is sitting in the chair who claimed that her appointment was at 4pm. There's also a guy who's just sleeping in a chair next to her. How is that possible I asked? She has an appointment book! She tells me the customer's appointment was written for 3:30pm, but she showed up late. They obviously don't know how to prioritize their patrons and they apparently have no "late" policy. I tell the owner that if someone is running 30 minutes late, you have to cancel because you have appointments thereafter. She tells me in Korean, "you know how those kind of people are..I dislike them." The owner asks if I can return later today or rather tomorrow and offers 20% off services. I appreciate the offer, but services shouldn't work like that. I'm writing this review because I've had several inconsistencies with their scheduling. I've gone another time for her to tell me the one girl they staff felt sick so had to go home, but didn't bother to call and update their schedules appointments. Another time I've gone and their shop is closed, because they didn't have enough staff. The prices are cheaper, but now they've raised their gel nail prices from $30 to $35. Still cheap, but they're still carrying clumpy nail polishes from 5 years ago. Don't expect consistencies in their schedules here and if you're willing to return later in the day or tomorrow then choose wisely, perhaps she'll tell you tomorrow that you got double booked too. read more

This establishment provides quality service at a decent price. They not only do mani &pedi's (gel and regular) for your nails, but they also wax and have lash services. They do welcome walk-ins but it's smart to make an appointment since they do get busy at times. First of all, i said just the flowers like the picture i showed...the extra that was added...don't like. They're shaped poorly...the lady kept asking me if they're the same size...isn't that her job to look and check. The gel is so terribly lumpy. There's scratches on my nails..i literally just got these done about 5 mins ago. $70 later....sooooo upset. When i called they said they didn't do acrylic..then said "oh wait, we do." I should of known to not go... I'm just so beyond upset. These nails look terrible.
