Pictured is the builder gel manicure I received tonight. This was my second visit and my first time getting a manicure here. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My nails were not smooth, the color application was uneven, and there are noticeable bumps on the nail beds. The nail tips are also rough and uncomfortable, when they should feel smooth. I returned so they could attempt to fix both my nails and pedicure, but the results were still disappointing. While I appreciate the effort to correct the work, I would have preferred a refund instead. Sadly, I won't be returning. A hidden gem in the heart of Korea town. This nail salon has a parking lot so it is easy to access and find parking. It was really easy to get an appointment on a Friday afternoon. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and the two ladies were working on my hands and feet simultaneously which helped save a lot of time. They were both very thorough and took their time making sure each finger/toe was even, cuticles were removed, and the shape was all the same. I got a white manicure for a photoshoot and they suggested this pearly blue sheen to go on top of the white coat and also helped pick the other color for my toes when I was indecisive. I really don't wanna be THAT person to post a negative review post-covid but I couldn't help myself. 1. I had a 12 pm appointment. I came in 15 mins early to check in and told them I'll be waiting in my car but I'm here. I came back and somehow there were two people sitting that came after me. 2. It was 12pm and I was sent to my chair. I waited 40 mins to get any service because they overbooked. 3. The owner came in and she didn't help her team knowing that it was busy. 4. The whole service (mani/pedi) was horrible. My toe nails are uneven. The polish application was inconsistent. I want to like this place!! It's so close to my house and I love supporting my neighborhood businesses - but I can't recommend this place. It's worn and tired and that shows everywhere you look. The massage seats are cracked and the pillows are worn thin - and that's ok - but not if you're going to charge $50 for a "regular" mani/pedi. In addition, the salon is dirty - and that's not ok. The floor is dirty and the walls are dirty - it's like the owners just stopped caring. And perhaps all of that could be forgiven but they RUSHED me through my services even after I had waited 45 minutes past the time of my appointment to begin. No massage on my hands or feet? For $50 before tip? I debated about giving this only two stars but the people who work there are kind so I'm giving it three. And yes I tipped. But my biggest tip? Find another salon. read more

I've been going to Princess Nail for the last five years and they've lost a customer. I went for the affordable prices, and the workers are all nice and polite despite them only staffing 1 person who's doing services. I had an appointment at 4pm and when I got there the owner, who always seem to be frazzled, gets off the phone and tells me there's a customer who is sitting in the chair who claimed that her appointment was at 4pm. There's also a guy who's just sleeping in a chair next to her. How is that possible I asked? She has an appointment book! She tells me the customer's appointment was written for 3:30pm, but she showed up late. They obviously don't know how to prioritize their patrons and they apparently have no "late" policy. I tell the owner that if someone is running 30 minutes late, you have to cancel because you have appointments thereafter. She tells me in Korean, "you know how those kind of people are..I dislike them." The owner asks if I can return later today or rather tomorrow and offers 20% off services. I appreciate the offer, but services shouldn't work like that. I'm writing this review because I've had several inconsistencies with their scheduling. I've gone another time for her to tell me the one girl they staff felt sick so had to go home, but didn't bother to call and update their schedules appointments. Another time I've gone and their shop is closed, because they didn't have enough staff. The prices are cheaper, but now they've raised their gel nail prices from $30 to $35. Still cheap, but they're still carrying clumpy nail polishes from 5 years ago. Don't expect consistencies in their schedules here and if you're willing to return later in the day or tomorrow then choose wisely, perhaps she'll tell you tomorrow that you got double booked too. read more
