I decided to get both a mani/pedi because I have a full body photoshoot coming up, and I just came across this place on Yelp because it was close by. There weren't many reviews because it's new, but I liked the examples I saw on their IG so I decided to give it a try. I feel like most of the times I've gotten my nails done, there was always something lacking. Often they'd tell me they could do my nails exactly like my inspo photo before I made the appointment but once I went in, they'd suddenly say they couldn't do it exactly like the photo but similar. Or they would keep insisting they could do it the same and it'd turn out different because they lacked the skill or tools. So I've always been used to being disappointed by my nails, but usually didn't want to make a big deal out of it. This is also why I generally didn't want to get my nails done because it's not cheap nowadays and nobody ever did what I wanted. I took the risk and came into the shop, where I was greeted by Isabel, the owner of the salon. She was so incredibly welcoming and sweet, and very outgoing! I felt so comfortable because she was chatty and made me feel at home. The interior of the salon is also impeccably clean and spacious. I really liked the selection of colors they have for the glossy/jelly-like polishes. Everything is organized and tidy. But more than just the vibes and interior, what blew me away was that this is the first time I've had a nail tech work on my nails and ask me if she could redo them because she could see it wasn't like the photos I'd brought in. She was almost done, and she still completely took everything off to start over from zero even though it meant she would spend way more time and miss out on customers. This meant so much to me, and it really showed me that this shop cares about the quality and output of their work more than just making money. I ended up absolutely loving my nails, and came back the next morning to get a pedi - both of them came out beautiful. I think the attitude and work ethic of a place matters just as much as the quality of the work, and Isabel's commitment towards her customers just cemented this place as my go-to salon.
