Once there are two towels, two hand towels and two face washers stacked on the one rail, everything has to be moved for use. There are no shelves or rails or hooks anywhere else in the room so when you shower you leave your clothes on the toilet lid. If you want to hang the hand towels somewhere after use, the bath towels are in the way. Considering the size of the bathroom which is adequate, another rail or hook on the door would have made the whole experience perfect. There is a no smoking sign on the door, however smoking is allowed on the balcony, evidenced by a dirty ash tray on the table in the centre. Love the quirky ceiling fan on the balcony.

Had all the things you would get in an apartment. It only missed a hair dry and shampoo. Outside that it was very big then a hotel room! Their is a TV and has basic cable like most places! Staff: the lady who runs it was very nice and friendly. Once I arrived we handled the money aspect and then she walked me to the room. She even showed me around and put on lights. That was a great touch I just was not sure if I should have filed her. (No idea of that rule). Location: right on the water and in fact early morning was nice to wake up and go to the back area and see the water. Negative I found: you will hear things and water in the pipes. If you like very quite it may not be good. You needed to bring shampoo and a hair dryer. NO internet but then again I never asked. Outside of the small(negative) things it was good. I would go back to this place if I had to work up in the area again.

I can tell you that the hosts are terrific and the other park patrons are friendly and helpful. We are regulars in Cottage 1 and have enjoyed the lakeside views and the stars at night - especially the Perseids meteor showers when the sky's are clear. The only thing that prevented me from giving this place 5 stars is that theres a "no walking around with alcohol rule," which is sh*tty if you want to have a beer by the water. My girlfriend and I were disappointed this was a thing; watching the sunset by the beach with a cold one would have made my night, and for $300 for two nights I think were entitled to that. Other than that, cozy and great get away for the wknd. Just hide your drinks or youll feel policed while keeping the peace on your vacation. They should really make this a *u may be asked not to walk around with alcohol* rule. We get why its in place, but unless youre a drunken jerk, it shouldnt be a thing.
