In part it felt like an inner-city pub, yet it still retained that rural feeling about it, probably because there was a building out the back called 'The Barn' that happened to be a function room (and there was also a barbecue under the shelter). Okay, it still seemed to be a place where the locals would sit at the bar chatting with the bartender, but I didn't let that get to me, especially with the lounge area sporting some rather interesting artwork.

I absolutely love dogs, and enquiried about him. Especially after seeing him featured on the menu. I was told by the staff that was Benny and is not actually owned by the pub. He is a neighbours dog. She took his meal back and 5 mins later I received a piping hot (microwave?) beef snit. The guy at the other table looked and laughed that it looked familiar. My wife then received different meal than she ordered but by then we just wanted to eat n go. Between that, no aircon, 10000 flies not a hint of an apology the Brauhaus can suck it! What a dump.
