I have had knee issues for over 15 years so am well versed with the treatments, and the standard knee ligament tests that go along with them. I booked a prolotherapy appointment here. it was 250.00 on the phone for both knees upon arriving, I confirmed the price 250.00 and the service I was getting (prolotherapy). Going in and meeting the physio we did discuss both prolotherapy and PRP, he indicated he though PRP was a better choice, BUT did not have time today. I told him no problem I could come back for that, but we can do the prolotherapy today as booked, in addition to his recommended PRP. He told me he could not do that , since the appointment was not booked long enough so he did not have time. I was disappointed as that was the whole point of me taking a half day off work and coming here. Upon leaving, I was asked to pay a consult fee of 150.00, which I was told would have been waived if I had got the service done ( Which is what I came for). BUT I indeed had booked the service. I was caught off guard, and did pay. However I got to my car and turned back , because this didnt seem right. I went back to talk to the receptionist who did confirm I was booked for the injections, so they: 1.booked me for 1 service. 2.Did NOT DO the service, 3. and then charged me for something else entirely. I did not agree or sign anything agreeing to this fee. In fact I confirmed the costs on the phone during booking , as well upon arriving. The receptionist asked me to speak to the physio who I dealt with, who insisted I was twisting his words when saying he said he did not have time ( Was absolutely not the case) and that I was "trying to come in and buy a can of coke" - This was insulting since, in our meeting he did not raise any objections to doing prolotherpay beyond time. He also admitted there was an "error made here" but no one was willing to make it right. I can always forgive mistakes in any business, I am also willing to pay whatever they want. They just have to two do things: 1) Disclose their prices/ policies. 2) If YOU make a mistake, fix it. This clinic did neither and I ensured to give ample opportunity for them to make it right, by speaking to the receptionist, who had me speak to the phyiso who also spoke to the clinic operator.

Not a huge fan of acupuncture (bad experiences before) but for some bewildering reason I respond really well to IMS treatment like dry needling (Like the old Buckleys commercial "it hurts, and it works") Most of the time I go for needles it basically fixes my muscle issues like the next day (unless it's really bad maybe another treatment or 2) Man I'd be so messed up without this as a last resort when chiropractic or massage attempts fail to bring relief (the cons of being hyper flexible lol...) Coupled with some cupping therapy, heat packs and mobility stretching, they guide me back to my normal active disposition ‍ ‍ Highly recommend

To his credit, the owner was friendly and appeared knowledgeable while doing his assessment on me. However, the service all fell apart when he then delegated the work to his assistants-a collection of apathetic, 20 something undergrads who cared less about care than rushing though a demonstration exercise so that they can get back to their social media. The 'sweatshop' atmosphere of the therapist working with 15-20 patients simultaneously, didn't exactly put me at ease of getting hands on quality care. I also understood that the most important part of recovery was to do the recommended exercises prescribed by the care-provider independently. However, the generic exercises he gave me to do at home appeared to aggravate my injuries further. When I attempted to contact the therapist by phone to ask for guidance, I was told he would get back to me ASAP. He called 2 weeks after my initial call. By then, I was already involved with MOMENTUM Physiotherapy recovering nicely(See my review). To sum up, my experience was awful in that instead of receiving care for my injury, I was being processed like a piece of meat going through an assembly line, where squeezing as many people into a workspace supersedes actual care.

I managed to hurt my back somehow while moving house and it got to the point where I was in agony…read moreby the end of a work day sitting at my computer. I was recommended to this place by a co-worker who'd been having some back problems, and with nothing to lose, I booked an appointment with Shun Sakai. Shun normally works evenings, which is ideal for folks who work a normal daytime workday, so I was able to drive over after work for an appointment after 6pm. The first consultation took a little longer than an hour, and Shun had me go through a series of motions, examined my back and range of flexibility, etc, and generally tried to figure out what I'd managed to do to myself. He isolated the problem pretty easily to a couple of vertebrae slightly out of alignment. I'd already seen 2 different massage therapists and an ergonomics consultant at work because of the pain I was having sitting, and all three of them told me different things, and none of them identified the exact problem area the way Shun did. He had a couple of ideas about what might be causing it and how to improve things, and sent me away with some specific stretches to do daily and an appointment to come back within a week. I ended up seeing him maybe 4-5 times over three weeks, each time he'd check up on progress and adjust his suggestions for stretches/exercises to do to get the vertebrae back in place. He also did some kind of massage with a hard metal implement that left my back a little sore but fixed the problem almost entirely. I honestly wasn't expecting my back to get completely back to normal within just a couple of weeks and 10 minutes or less of stretching per day, but a month later I feel completely fine again. Shun also did not try to stretch things out to keep me coming back for more business, when he thought I was back to normal he just said he didn't think he needed to see me any more, but to let him know if any problems returned. I definitely will, but so far so good, and I'm very impressed with how quickly he was able to identify and then resolve the problem.

They do not direct bill, but are clear as to their charges. Honestly, if it wasn't for this place, my health wouldn't be as great as it is now. I am ever so thankful for my visits and my physiotherapist, Elizabeth, is great. My partner has also been here to see a couple of different staff members with good results.
