I got a lot out of my time there and I still do some of the same exercises at home today to stay strong and to sty fit. I had one mishap that involved the muscle stimulator machine. It went a little crazy and somehow got turned up really high. It really freaked me out because it hurt. From then on, my therapist massaged me herself - no more machines - which I really appreciated. They were so gentle with her and made her feel comfortable and, best of all, it healed properly. I can back for myself when I broke my foot and again amazing treatment. The physiotherapist knew her stuff, asked the right questions, made me feel comfortable and in the end I can wear heals again! Now we are back again. And, now they have Rigs the physiotherapist dog with them. He works some kids to help them. We haven't used him but he greets everyone at the door and it's neat to see him in the office! The staff is just as friendly and as a bonus they are able to direct bill some companies if you have insurance. I asked my FB cohort if anyone had used physio at a place that was not co-located with chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping, and other quackery, and this location was recommended. WHEW! I could not find one online myself. I have only had online visits with the physiotherapist, Chris Holt, but they have been none the less useful for being virtual. The exercises recommended were directly in keeping with the diagnoses from the sports medicine physician I saw, and Chris is also helping me to monitor for another possible diagnosis that was mentioned. He shared with me the gold standard trial that informed this approach, and I couldn't be happier. If your past experiences with physio involved too much pain for you, I would also highly recommend this practice. It takes expertise to design challenge that will heal the affected area fast enough to allow you to maintain good motivation while not discouraging adherence via pain, and I would say that this level of expertise is definitely available at this practice. Since the clinic is sports-oriented, it makes for a perfect place if you are eager to return to a regular workout, whatever that looks like in the time of the COVID pandemic. They understand that at least one of the priorities you will have is engaging in sports activity, which helps to inform your recovery plan. I grew tired of asking my GP and rheumatologist when I could return to doing X and Y, and am much happier to have a sports medicine physician and physio who keep this as a priority for my recovery.

Walking in you feel like you are walking into a spa. A small business but well laid out with 5 nice sized rooms. The beds are all heated so even in the middle of winter you won't feel like you are laying down on a cold blanket. The massage therapist I booked - Amita - was amazing. She was checking to ensure the pressure she was using was good because I was quite injured.... My daughter didn't notice anything because apparently she ended up so relaxed despite her injury she feel asleep during her massage! I guess that's a sign the pressure is fine! Near the end Amita uses an amazing cooling massage oil. While she doesn't do pressure sales at all the oil is for sale in the clinic which I appreciate. After she gave me the opportunity to book straight away with her or to leave it and book at later time use her online booking system (which is how I had initially booked).
