He had a severe wound on his foot and Torrance Memorial Hospital told me amputation was the only option. I am grateful to say the wound care team at Marina Point proved that wrong. Steven, Malea, Courtney, and Alex have done an amazing, outstanding job. What they did feels like a miracle. Because of their care, my father's wound is almost completely closed. Their skill and dedication truly made the difference. The nursing staff Grace, Marcus, and Jenny make sure my father receives his medications and proper care. They are professional, patient, and reassuring. Brian and the physical therapy department also do excellent work helping patients regain strength and mobility. The CNAs are truly heroes. Hirut treats my father like family. She keeps him clean and well groomed and even when he is difficult she takes her time and gives him top-tier treatment. The patients seem to really love her. Even when my father refuses food she makes sure he gets the nutrition he needs. Coretta and Joe also work very hard caring for patients. I also appreciate how clean the facility is. It does not smell like a typical nursing home. Staff are always cleaning. My father always has clean gowns, towels, and sheets with no stains. The housekeeping staff clearly take pride in their work. The food looks decent and they give patients a variety of meals. When you call, someone always answers and you reach a live person, which gives families peace of mind. I especially thank Iman who helped get my father admitted the same day. She showed compassion and urgency. She worked to find a bed and helped him get accepted the same day. I will never forget that. The administration and nursing leadership also deserve recognition. The staff are welcoming, professional, honest, and reliable. They make families feel secure leaving loved ones in their care. Marina Point took a huge amount of stress off me because I know my father is safe and cared for. I would absolutely recommend Marina Point Healthcare & Subacute. The people here truly care. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

There wasn't nothing wrong with the staff, but I arrived and was the first patron in the building for the day at 8:26am. It's currently 1:14pm and I'm still waiting. I've spoken to one doctor who said he would fill my prescriptions, but have been waiting for 45 minutes for "discharge papers" even though I was not admitted. I'm total there was three people (including myself) waiting to see the doctor and I did not speak to one until 11:38am (nearly three hours of waiting when I was the FIRST person to come in). I guess I can't be too mad because I'm still getting some of my medications, but if you're planning on coming here for help know that it's literally going to be your entire day. I also mentioned to the staff that I am now late for work and they said that the best they could do was "write me a note." I don't work in the medical field, but this is simply unacceptable. I should not have to sacrifice so much time and stress just to be seen to handle my stress! There needs to be a more uniformed way of running this establishment, even if it means allowing people to schedule an appointment or give estimated wait times when someone ARRIVES rather than having them think it'll be any minute now.

It also helps that one of my friends, who happens to be a physical therapist, also referred me to this clinic. He shared great things about this place, so the bar was already set high. My therapist Dorian was engaging, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition to assigning practical, doable and strength-building workouts each week, he explains why they're important and how they fall under the program. I thought I knew how to work out, as I've been lifting for almost a decade now, and it was all undone after just a few short but impactful months with Dorian. I quickly learned I had to relearn most of what I knew, and I appreciated it. Before I wrap up this review, I do want to highlight the office manager, Marisa, who was such a delight at every interaction. She made scheduling a breeze and was always so awesome to deal with. I always walked away with a smile after interacting with Marisa, who genuinely knows how to put patients at ease. Note: Unfortunately, Prehab Physical Therapy was out of network with my medical insurance. However, Marisa provided a superbill after each visit, which made insurance claim submissions easy! I am walking away with a stronger appreciation of form in my workouts and a new profound respect for stretching. If you're looking for a knowledgeable therapist and a modern clinic, check out Prehab Physical Therapy.

I work specifically with Dorian and he's incredibly knowledgeable and has made a huge difference in my mobility after just a couple sessions. I've seen many physical therapists since my surgery and other sports injuries, and I love the interface they have for at home PT. The videos are super helpful and it's nice that they put your routine on a link for you. Pricing is on par with other high quality PT places I've been to, but you really get what you pay for. Would totally recommend if you have any mobility/surgical or sports issues!

My experience at Overland IOP & PHP has been supportive from the start. The quality of care is excellent, with a dedicated clinical team that is knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive to individual needs. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers a structured, intensive approach, while the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides flexibility for those balancing treatment with daily life. Both programs incorporate individual therapy, group sessions, and medication management, creating a well-rounded treatment plan. The office experience has been smooth--staff members are friendly, organized, and accommodating. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and designed to foster a comfortable healing environment. While every treatment journey is personal, I found Overland to be a supportive and effective place for growth and recovery. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a well-structured and compassionate program. Shout out to Gabe for running a clean efficient operation in collaboration with the MANY other staff who were excellent including Zach and Dillon responsive case managers, Chanti therapist and Leah life skills coach.

The weekly programming is intentional and thorough, addressing the mind, body, and spirit. Boxing with Eldar and yoga with Sarah helped bring me back into my body. Nutrition with Lotta taught me how fundamentally linked nutrition is with mental health. Narrative therapy with Isabel helped me reconnect with the younger, wounded parts of myself, and begin to integrate them into my life. I can go on and on about the wide range of groups and expertise among group facilitators. There is something for everyone, and you get out of it what you put in. The entire staff, from the administrative and billing staff, to the group facilitators, are exceptional. I would recommend Overland to anyone seeking mental health/addiction treatment. It is truly a magical place.
