We called them last winter to do a routine chimney sweep and was told Doug was no longer with the company. It had been a few years since we had the main chimney swept, but we don't use it that often. The winters in TX rarely warrant using it. Colton Brown came out and did a Level 2 inspection and eventually said our chimney had level 3 creosote and would require a deeper cleaning with a special solvent. Fine just do it. He charged us $500 for the cleaning and said he would send a report of what he recommended moving forward. Long story short I received a 15 page document from Micah about how our main fireplace and chimney was in such disrepair that we needed a new one. "No longer suitable for continued use." Was the exact terminology. They quoted us over 20k for this job. I called another company and said I had just received some bad news from Ables and would like a second opinion. The guy instantly said, "Let me guess... they said you needed a whole new fireplace and everything else." I told him yes and he replied, "That seems to be their answer for everthing. I'll come take a look." The next day the guy came out and told me they had not cleaned the chimney and that the build up was very minimal. He spent an hour or so cleaning the chimney and when he was done he showed me a camera he ran up the chimney. The chimney was shiny silver metal and looked near new. He charged us a couple hundred dollars and went on his way. He said that was all that was needed and the fireplace and chimney were fine to use. Note our house is only 10 years old. Be careful with this company. You probably don't need an entire new chimney and fireplace you just need a company who will actually clean it.

I had a roof replacement after it being damaged by hail. It was replaced and after several months during the rain season, the roof had a leak into my attic and it trickled down into my living room. I brought both parties out and ultimately they pointed fingers at each other for fault. I took pictures and video. They took their own pictures. I left a nice voicemail and the owner of Impero called me personally to apologize about the crappy work (I have pictures) of the seal job around an existing power box. He made comments that suggested his guys had some responsibility of the trashy work. I've made several attempts to coordinate both parties to get together and resolve this because both of them have been paid in full and I still have a leak. The owner hasn't responded to any of my texts since June of this year. It took a nasty email for another reaponse and now they're back to pointing fingera again and I have ZERO notice from eitber party. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If they make a mistake, they appear to put finished work on the back burner and don't care if my roof caves in.

With the wind and hail damage in our area, I was skeptical about having a roofing company come out to inspect the damage. There were so many "fly by night" solicitors that were coming to our house. I had seen Paxton Roofing's work on a neighbor's house; it was beautiful and decided to call. It was the best decision I ever made. They took care of everything. The roof installation was done in a day, and every last scrap of roof and debris was picked up from the yard and disposed of. They installed a fence, and it looks AMAZING! Thank you, Paxton Roofing.
