    Mild Sharp Italian

So this review is really about the customer service. I came in the other day during lunch to find one employee trying to handle the lunch rush by himself. The food smelled amazing, I was really hungry, but there was no way this young man was going to be able to handle this rush by myself! But boy did he try! He also remained polite and was just trying his very best to do what he could. One guy picking up his togo order yelled on the way out "GOOD LUCK MAN!" Then proceeded to laugh his way out of the restaurant. If there was any hope of getting food and returning to work on time, it went laughing out the restaurant with that guy... After waiting for 15min I left. I reached out PrimoHoagies via their website and told them what happened. They commended the store employee and told me that should've never happened, they are having staffing issues, apologized for wasting my lunch break and not getting any food with a $25 gift card placed onto my account with them. I got lunch for my team at work with that money and today I picked up my takeout order right as I walked in and the sub was excellent! They followed all my instructions as well! They might struggle with getting your order out on time because of staffing, so I suggest placing your order ahead of time online!

Got Primos again last night for a taste of Philly, during the Phils NLDS GM 3 vs the Braves. Thank you Primos!!! I got an item that they didn't used to have, I'd buy their bread & make a cheesesteak at home, but not anymore!!! Got it with mayo & provolone, and it hit the spot right! Wife got the Soprano & of course, loved it! So happy that Primos finally came out West, I thought I had lost them forever! It's just like when I lived in South Jersey, it was 10 minutes away, same here! Keep it up & I'll keep supporting!!!

New Italian sandwich shop in Centennial! The owner came out for grand opening and was super welcoming and kind. I didn't realize what the difference is between the two breads- there's a crunchier sesame bread, and a softer bread. All of the meats and cheeses are freshly sliced on spot. The sandwiches are huge- the primo (medium) is 9", enough for leftovers. We went back after grand opening to grab dinner; a little disappointed we didn't get any hot options (been craving to try the meatball sub). Guess next time- granted, it's our fault b/c we came in like 5 minutes to closing. That said- we still got good service and the team was nice.

Stopped by to try this shop, first time in. Was ordering a steak sub...asked for a glass for water. Gal at the register told me "ya gotta buy it". What? I'm allergic to tea and caffeine. Told her never mind and headed to another restaurant. I eat out 15+ times a week as I travel for work locally. I was excited for a new place to try. Won't be back.

    American with extra ham

I was asked for a review so as much as I'd love to give this place 5 stars for their friendliness I can't get above 2 for the value. The quality of the meats and bread were 3.5 stars but the lettuce and tomato were wilted and sloppy. My biggest issue was with the amount of meat which I'd equate to maybe $2 at best even after paying an extra $2 for double ham. I don't even think there was half the amount of meat. I've visited this deli three times with the first time right after they opened this location being great but has unfortunately become progressively worse. So unfortunately I can't justify a $16 sandwich (no chips) before tip which I should've never given based on the value. This review is based solely on what I paid for and not the employee who was pleasant and friendly and would give her a 4.5 otherwise a 5 if she wouldn't have asked for a review. Cleanliness I would give a 5. I wish them luck.

their sandwiches are delicious, but they need to carry the larger size bags of the herr's lightly salted potato chips they are so fabulous!

I was also very happy to see how busy they were the last several times as well. It is also a great place to quietly work during breakfast while other places can be so loud!

Don't get me wrong, the ingredients were fresh enough, service was friendly, and the place was clean & neat. BUT the Dolomite (their "Italian" hero), which is the simple, yet complex sandwich that ALL sandwich shops should be judged on, was just fine, and I ended up only eating half of it. Specifically, the inappropriately sesame-seeded bread was too airy & fluffy. The cold cuts were sliced too thickly, and densely piled together into a brick-like slab of meats. It all added up to a sandwich, although carefully made, didn't really satisfy my soul the way a good sandwich should. Unfortunately, I've had the same experience at their shop in Fort Collins, so maybe this style of very pretty, but vapid sandwiches are just not my jam.

She said I could eat outside on the patio instead. What made the situation especially frustrating was that no one mentioned while we were ordering that all orders would be to-go or that the dining area was closing. Had we been told beforehand, we would have planned accordingly. At the time, my husband was in the restroom, and I was holding our baby. I also had our drinks and my freshly made sandwich. Being told to immediately leave and wait outside while juggling a baby, food, and drinks felt incredibly inconsiderate and unwelcoming. I completely understand that businesses have closing hours, and I respect that employees want to finish their shifts on time. However, asking a customer to leave just moments after handing them their food and without any prior warning created a very uncomfortable and inhospitable experience. It felt less like a reasonable closing procedure and more like we were being rushed out the door despite having just been served. A little communication or a few minutes of grace while my husband finished in the restroom would have made all the difference. Instead, the interaction left us feeling unwelcome, and it unfortunately overshadowed the entire visit.

My husband really likes the Vladdy Sr. (French dip, with the best au jus I've ever tasted!) and The Koufax (hot pastrami on rye). The sandwiches are HUGE! A few times I've ordered a half sandwich and been completely satisfied. I have also really liked the soups I've had. We are a baseball family, so I love that all the names are baseball references. The k my one I think they missed was the Pick Two (half sandwich and cup of soup or salad), I think they should call it The Double Play! Service has been outstanding every time we've been in. They all have been incredibly kind and have gone out of their way to make sure we were pleased with our food. We have always had our food as takeout, but they do have tables you can eat at in the restaurant. All this to say, Home Team Deli is a home run in our book!

While there were a handful of people sitting at tables, the majority of the tables were empty. People are accustomed to a certain pace at places like this. If your brand is not designed around moving fast maybe consider taking a page from Whataburger where they have signs everywhere telling the customer they don't move fast; you will have to wait. Again, food is good. I just don't think it's reasonable to wait 30 minutes for a 5" hot sandwich.
