After a pretty rough summer and the heat absolutely torching my grass, I reached out to several…read morelandscaping companies about fall/winter germination programs that would set me up for a nice green lawn next year. After a bit of back and forth and estimates, plus scoping reviews, I ended up going with Pure Turf, and so far, I am happy with that decision. I ended up signing for the next year which includes the initial fertilization and seeding, weed control and maintenance once spring comes back around. The process has been solid and easy. The team is responsive and quick to respond when needed. I communicate with them via text and they are always timely in response, while also ensuring to answer any questions I may have, etc... Since the initial seeding, I have reached back out to have a few patchy areas reseeded. They came out without delay, walked me through what to do next and how to monitor progress before the freeze of winter hits. From start to now, I have seen a great improvement in my lawn. Still have a few areas to focus on, but I am hopeful that next year I will have the lawn I am hoping (and paying) for! Overall, glad I went with Pure Turf and looking forward to next years season!

For the second year in a row, my lawn is brown. I even paid more this year for additional services I did not have before, but the lawn actually looks worse. I pay them for disease control and basically everything they offer, yet the lawn still has the same issues. They keep saying it is due to the soil, but other people have told me it looks like disease. One person on their team even said it looked like disease again, but still offered no real solution. Then the office said it was not disease, but again, they did not come out, do anything meaningful, or offer a real plan to fix it. Another company I called said they were confident the issue was disease. They also said that if disease control had been done, the company should have offered to treat it or at least come out and inspect it. That made me question whether the disease control was actually working, or whether it was handled properly. To be honest, my lawn looked better before I started using them. They are expensive, and since using them, my lawn looks worse than ever. The biggest issue is that when I asked about the problem, they never really came out to inspect it and find the actual cause. It also takes days to get a response on anything, and when they do respond, it is usually just the same repeated explanation with no real solution. No one seems to take ownership, offer help, or try to actually fix the problem. When I called to cancel, they did not offer to come look at the lawn, fix anything, or make it right. The response was basically, "Ahh man, I'm sorry. I know we did our best, but I truly wish you luck." All of my neighbors' lawns look great, and they use other companies. I am moving to one of those companies because I cannot keep paying a premium price for a lawn that looks brown, unhealthy, and worse than it did before I hired them.

Everyone from the person who answers your calls to the field staff have been awesome. When we moved in we were absolutely overwhelmed with Wolfe spiders all around the house and yard, on our deck and in our garage as well as some black widow spiders. Again they were all outside and in the garage but STILL!!! I have never lived anywhere that spiders come TOWARD you when they see you!!! I called them and they were there the next day and they came out every two weeks (the most frequent the law allows) for the next 2 months until they got the spider population under control. We are in a wooded new build area so that is part of how they get to be so prevalent in the homes so we will be continuing to call on them. Our person for pest control is Kyle. He is so awesome. He understands my fear of these spiders and is respectful and responsive. I even have his cell number in case I need him to come more than the quarterly visits that are standard. I absolutely love KYLE!! We also had a field mice problem in our garage and in our crawl space-again you knock down acres and acres of trees to build a community-and these things happen. They sent Kyle, his boss and another employee to thoroughly inspect the house and figure out what was wrong . They found a small hole from the garage to the crawl space that the contractor had not closed behind a water heater and also figure out that the crawl space door has a small gap in the seam where it closed. So we were able to get that addressed and resolve that issue. There is another employee who had come out and he checks the mouse situation regularly and they put out special feeders around the house to make sure there are no more problems. And when I had some landscaping done and the termite bait stations were going to need to be moved, I asked their termite tech what to do and he said not to worry he would take care of everything and did! Again so responsive and unlimited treatments is their way of guaranteeing their work and they come right away and use glue strips, sprays, special bait stations that are clearly pricey and always with smiles respect and reassurance that they get it! I requested quarterly service and was told that is what it would be. They then claimed a few months later that it was 3x per year. I asked to cancel and they said it was a $99 cancellation fee. I protested and they said that we had a contract. I asked for a copy of the contract and they said that we didn't have a signed contract - that it was a verbal agreement on a recorded line. I asked for the recording and they tried to provide a link to a file that was at a site that I had to have a login for. They then provided a transcript that showed they never provided the information. They then produced a contract with my name signed but never provided a copy of the contract to me nor explained the details of the contract that I was supposedly agreeing to. Their website claims Character as a core value - I had the opposite in my interaction with them. If you read this far - you have been warned!
