Only problem is was she saw my ex as a regular client and that's never good. I'd recommend her if you both are not seeing her individual basis. I just wish when I came to her and said I wanted to leave and needed advice how to get out peacefully I got those tools rather than stay and try and to work it out. Some relationships aren't worth saving! She's has a great heart and soothing environment! Only person to ever put me in my place .

One of the things I notice in my family law legal practice, especially with divorce cases, is that clients tend to get stuck in negative thought pattern loops. I like to call this "divorce trance" and, as Ms. Jewell will tell you, it is entirely natural. However, for those caught in the throes of relationship break-up, it commonly leads to feelings of despair, powerlessness, and anger. Ms. Jewell is skillful in guiding people towards understanding why they feel as they do, that those feelings are common and reasonable, but that they can be redirected and overcome if you are willing to pay attention and embrace forgiveness (of yourself as well as your "other) on whatever level is comfortable. Simply put, if you choose to accept Ms. Jewell's invitation to meet you are greatly improving your odds of moving through grief, hurt, and anger in an awakened way. When you are ready take the first step and give her a ring, unless you really prefer to continue to suffer - some do, and you have that choice!

Here is a full review of what happened BEFORE the session…read more Got a phone with Dr Mitch and he quoted me $275 for an individual session and $395 for an hour group session and $595 for an hour and a half group session. Then he said he would like to do individual sessions with all of us first. So my mom and brother do the individual sessions first. My mom's session was 37 minutes and my brother's was 30 minutes. I inquired about it. Turns out they were doing an "intake session" and that it was up to an hour. My brother didn't feel like he was able to get what he needed out. Instead he ended up listening to Dr Mitch talk. I told Dr Mitch I didn't have much to say. He said he would do a 30 minutes intake a session at $190. $275 divided by 2 is $137.50. He wasn't even using more that 37 minutes! Then when I asked him about it, he told he that that's what was discussed and it was on his website and asked me to relay the message because he was fully booked. First of all, it was never discussed. Why are there 3 parties that are confused and his website looks like it was made in the 80's. There is a large amount of information that is hard to distill. Lastly, I told him I would not relay the message because that was not my job. All that aside, I still was hopeful because I wanted to be able work with someone that could help our family dynamics. Then the night before our session he asked for payment of $585 and that includes the 10% discount and asked for a Zoom link. He originally said $595. I questioned why he was asking me for a Zoom link? Turns out that he doesn't have Zoom and uses another system in which he can't have more than 4 people on at a time. I asked him, why did he say he could do a group if in fact he couldn't. I asked him if tech was part of his job that we were paying for, and he responded something like he told me in the beginning that his network wouldn't handle 4 different locations. He didn't say anything to me at the time. And his mistake was that he didn't spend to get Zoom and missed out on potentially a few thousand dollars. And then he said "worse comes to worse, I'll just work with you and your mother separately". This wasn't what we signed up for. He wasn't listening to our needs and he was being very dismissive with what we needed. He lost my trust even before the group session started. And all of this communication was done via text!

When it came time to make the appointment he said they only do online sessions or by telephone. This was after they charged my credit card $390 for my wife and my consultation. Right here in San Diego we have an absolutely world class, consummate physician in Dr. Irwin Goldstein, supported by an incomparable staff. We are so fortunate to have them.

I…read morespent nearly five years in and out of generic OB-Gyn offices and pelvic floor physical therapy before finally making an appointment at SDSM and receiving the care and treatment that I had been longing for. I was diagnosed with Congenital Neuroproliferative Vestibulodynia at my very first appointment. I greatly appreciated the immense amount of time they give new patients not only for thorough testing but also for education. My first appointment was three hours long, one for testing, one for education with Dr. Goldstein in his office, and one with their in-house professional sex therapist. Specifically for my condition, I value their holistic approach to sexual health and medicine. Making sure their patients are not only physically healed, but since many of us -myself included- are diagnosed with sexual trauma and PTSD, they make sure we are healing mentally as well. It took Dr. Goldstein three hours to diagnose what other doctors had dismissed for five years. I cannot convey the significance of just receiving a diagnosis. This condition had left me emotionally drained for years. It ruined my wedding night because I had no idea why sex had hurt me so much. Educating me on my condition empowered me and allowed me to finally talk about my condition with confidence. All of this goodness and we haven't even covered treatment! My initial blood work showed lower levels of testosterone which can also impact sex so Dr. Goldstein opted to treat that first before moving to surgery. I really appreciated this outlook. He was in NO way pushing surgery as a money grab. If a less invasive approach could work, he took it. After a few months with the testosterone supplementation and no improvement in my condition, I was scheduled for surgery. Dr. Goldstein and his staff do a phenomenal job at preparing you for surgery. Your surgery packet explains everything from your medication regiment, cost breakdown, doctors note, to post-operation care. If asked, he will provide you with names and telephone numbers of other women who have gone through the surgery. Known as the "Vestibulodynia sisters," these women were immensely helpful and considerate to take the time out of their schedule to help other women (like myself) walk through the same process. As someone who is now listed herself to be contacted in case any future women have questions regarding the surgical procedure, I can tell you that we are ASKED to do this and give PERMISSION to Dr. Goldstein to provide our phone numbers to future patients. This is not required of us, and if someone should choose to keep their information private, SDSM would happily do so. He only provides are names and phone numbers, nothing else, and should a new patient reach out to us, it is entirely up to our own personal discretion about what health information we would like to share. Words fall short to commend each and every single woman who helped me when I was first walking through surgery. We live in such a sexually charged culture that experiencing painful sex can often feel incredibly isolating and to know I had this "sisterhood" helping me, encouraging me, and preparing me for this major surgery was so comforting. Lastly, no, they do not accept insurance . But if there is anything I've learned about our healthcare system in the last five years of realizing I had something majorly wrong with my body, it's that our healthcare system is broken. I've been better served by doctors who do not accept insurance than by ones who do. As I mentioned previously, it took Dr. Goldstein hours to do what no other doctor(s) had been able to do in YEARS. If I had just gone straight to SDSM to begin with, I would have saved myself, and my marriage, copious amounts of time and money. Medical procedures are expensive, yes. But, would I trade back the financial investment for more hours crying on my bathroom floor, panic attacks in the bedroom, and inability to look my husband in the eyes?? NEVER. Dr. Goldstein and his entire staff at SDSM gave me back my sex life, my dream of having a family, and renewed intimacy with my husband at nearly 30 years old. 10,000,000 gold stars.

We loved each other deeply, but we felt more like roommates juggling work and parenting than partners. We had tried traditional couples therapy together and individually, but we just weren't making real progress. A friend suggested we try alternative therapy, which I had honestly never considered before. After some research, we found Tari -- and being able to schedule Sunday morning sessions with our busy lives made the decision even easier. From the moment we walked into his office, we realized this experience would be very different from traditional therapy in the best possible way. The environment is private, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to create comfort and openness. Tari helped us communicate in a way that felt safe, non-judgmental, and focused on genuine connection -- no blame, no scorekeeping, just understanding. On a personal level, Tari helped me reconnect with my sensual side after years of pregnancy and breastfeeding, a part of myself I had truly lost. He helped both of us rediscover the closeness and intimacy we had before kids, and our relationship is stronger because of it. We are so grateful and highly recommend Tari to any couple looking to reconnect. Five stars without hesitation.

He has a rare ability to truly see and understand both sides of a relationship, and his insight into the male perspective has helped me make sense of dynamics in my marriage in ways I couldn't access on my own. I have felt deeply supported, but never coddled -- Tari offers compassion alongside honest, necessary truths, and that balance is where real change happens. What sets him apart is how practical and usable his guidance is. I don't leave sessions with abstract ideas; I leave with tools, language, and perspectives I can actually apply in real life. His suggestions are thoughtful, grounded, and immediately helpful. One of my favorite parts of our work together lately has been our walking sessions. There's something powerful about moving physically while also working through emotional weight -- burning calories while burning through the things that have been weighing on me. It makes the process feel active, embodied, and forward-moving, just like the growth I've experienced. Tari has supported me through every layer of this journey with steadiness, insight, and care. If you're looking for a therapist who combines deep understanding, practical guidance, and a genuinely human approach, I cannot recommend him highly enough.
