I heard the recipe for the lemon pepper wings came to the previous owners in a dream from God. Lemon pepper wings are usually huge let downs from every other place I go, and I don't live in GA anymore. They use real lemons of course for these. I really like mixing the buffalo sauces with the LPs. I think the fries are okay but everyone says they love them. I just go for wings. I've never had the sandwiches but I've heard those are good too--but the wings are so good I never venture away. This place is hands down, my favorite to go for wings! I have yet to find another place that has wings with the same crunch and the same classic sauces. For me, I don't like my wings too too hot, so I usually just get the medium but they do have hot for those that like their wings extra spicy. My other favorites are lemon pepper and teriyaki. After I'd found my favorites, I just started to call in my order so I could just pick them on the way home, which is super convenient. Typically, I take the food to go because I'm not a huge fan of the atmosphere there but I don't find it a problem. Otherwise, it's my still my favorite place to get wings! When I interned over the summer in this area - I came across this place and I'm still so happy I did! The employees are nice, and they literally have the BEST wings and fries in town. I use to eat here a few years back and it was a diffrent group of people running the place. I got a job in the area again and was really excited to try Prime Wings again because they used to be my favorite Wing Spot. I noticed that the wings were a lot smaller than they used to be, and the grease tasted old. I cook myself and the grease should not taste like old chicken. A lot of my wings well a couple of wings wer broken up with the marrow dripping out, I could not eat them and the overall flavor of the lemon pepper is not the same it was a real citrus-based sauce before now it's butter and salt. The best part of my meal were the fries which is unacceptable at a place that specializes in wings. They went from being a five-star wing place to a two-star wing place . I placed a fairly large order, apparently too large to get the order correct, (2) 20 piece wings, (2) 10 piece wings and a Philly with one of the 10 piece wings. I placed the order over the phone and to make things easier upfront I told the girl on the phone each meal is a combo and each meal is all flats.... When I got to pick up the food. 2 of the 4 meals had no drinks, when I asked for a those drinks the younger girl gets defensive NO YOU ONLY HAD DRINKS FOR 2 of them. Ok, I know what I said but OK, so I purchase two more drinks......I get the meals and there's 3 fries but 4 meals..... so I ask if this fry is to be split amongst 2 people and she then says something in Spanish to the older lady who then in return responds to me in a VERY COMBATIVE TONE, Only 3 of them were combos, but wait, earlier only 2 of them were combos so which is it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & to add insult to injury TERRIBLE FOOD. Every order was fried crispy. Out of those 60 wings maybe 10 AT BEST were friend crispy. I DO NOT CARE IF THEY WERE GIVING AWAY FREE MEALS, I would not eat there.... I do not care if this was the last place on earth to eat and I was starving...... THEY WOULDNT GET A DIME OUT OF ME!!! Prime WIngs is definitely one of the most underrated wing spots in Georgia. Of course in prior years, it did taste better and the wings were a little bigger, but other than that the taste is still the same. We always get Honey BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Garlic Parmesan wings and they're all sooooo good. YOu honestly can't go wrong with any flavor. And they're crispy which is a plus because soggy wings are just gross. The only thing that I hate are their hours. Even though it may say they close at 8 PM, you can get there at 7 PM and they're already closed. So for me, I think the earlier the better. Just order when you get off work and pick them up at around 5:30, because in terms of their hours it's a hit or miss. read more

Then three or so months ago it seemed like maybe they changed their chicken supplier because the wings got really tiny and occasionally you couldn't even be sure what they were (didn't look like flats or drumettes). It's pretty much another American Deli (but with more menu items). They do the wings nicely, good crisp. The lemon pepper does have a unique taste compared to other places and their fries are great (they have the seasoning that you can find at Great Wraps!). The steak philly is okay. Not the best but average. It tasted a little bit greasier which was surprise since it didn't look greasy even though the bread was soft. Every year we have a Wingapalooza contest where a group of us come together collecting wings from all over Atlanta to put them to the .. te-aste.. Well in 2011 Prime Wings was the clear winner among the group by a long shot beating the likes of Taco Mac, Hooters, and various others. The wings are packed with flavor and have just the right crunch and crisp to meat ratio. The wings themselves are not the biggest which I prefer as the wing can become bland from too much of the meat, but they're not too small either, avoiding the spices and sauces overpowering the wing. The prices on top of everything are quite reasonable and their fries are your typical small joint thick cut starchy fries. My only complaint is that they close at 8pm--there has been way too many times where I would think of going to Prime to get some wings only to realize they're closed! Gahh! read more
