I was moving to…read moreBrooklyn for the next two years and insurance for my car was going to be ridiculous, so I got the great idea to store it in Maine until the two years were up. I took my car to the storage unit and we tried to fit it in but no luck. Chandra apologized profusely and worked with me about half an hour after their closing time (in the rain) to figure out a solution. She decided to hold onto the vehicle until one of their other units opened up, with no charge to me, and move the vehicle into the unit for me. I know, I know - this should be expected. But how often do you get excellent service when you really should? So they called a few days later (I was already in Brooklyn) to let me know my car was in a unit and I could come pick up the keys. I had to be in Maine for business again the next week, so I arrived around 7:30 because I had to be to work at 8am, not realizing they don't open until 8am. One woman that worked there (I am sorry I don't know her name) showed up around 7:45 am and opened the doors for me. She recognized me even though I had never met her and asked if I wanted my spare key back. I told her I needed to get my car serviced and asked if I could leave my rental car at their office until I could get a ride back to pick it up. They said it was not a problem, to leave my car as long as necessary. It is so hard to get good service now, even when you expect that you should get it. I have no complaints about Broadway Self Storage, they have amazing customer service.

If you just need to show a receipt to somebody, these people are alright, however, if you need a proper washout, I strongly suggest that you avoid this operation, as they will not even properly do the job when you clearly show them that huge areas of the trailer that they have merely wet, as opposed to properly washed, can be cleaned with a baby wipe.

We were concerned about a container getting moisture in it, but Abco delivered 2 that had ventilation built into it which worked great. When we opened it up it up, there wasn't a bit of smell at all and everything was in great shape. Jim, delivered the 2 containers to my property in October, got them leveled out since my property has bit of a slope perfectly, so they easily opened & closed. We got through a quarter of our stuff before we realized there was NO way we'd make it up the three flights of stairs with all of the other stuff and furniture. We called Liberty Bell in a panic and completely exhausted and they responded in ten minutes!! And before we knew it, they came in about an hour. Cost $350 to move everything in with three guys. They finished the job in maybe an hour and a half?? WOW! They completely saved us and moved everything in, nothing broke and everything was in great shape. I reached out to their customer service via email and asked about the quote, requesting a total sum rather than hourly rate. Their response offered no help, stating "its hourly." I responded to them and said other companies I had reached out to had given me an estimate for total move, which seemed more solid than just and hourly rate. They responded "You should always go with the cheapest bid...cuz cheap is always the best" I thanked them for their, again, promt response but informed them that I would be searching elsewhere for moving services because their response didn't answer my question or provide any useful information. This is what I received in response: "I would refer you the a guy named ' I a m Cheapest mover " out of Rochester , NH... But he went out of buisness.. Try Craigslist ...there usually cheap but and uninsured ..so be careful Good luck with your Mc move " I would venture a guess that their customer service and quality will match thier spelling/grammer/use of emojis. Not having used Liberty Bell, I can't speak to their actual moving service. However, I would not trust my money and belongings to a company who interacts with prospective customers like this. This is only the second time I have felt a need to leave a negative review online, but in my closing email to them I stated I would be happy to leave screenshots of our conversation online.
