I've stored my overflow at Noyes since moving to Portland a few years ago (and actually stored allllllll my stuff here for some months originally). Like Noyes' moving service, this is one of those things where spending a bit more is worth it: this place is clean and temperature controlled, and the staff are all super helpful. They're always monitoring so you'll feel perfectly safe even going down those various hallways that are dark at first (don't worry, the lights turn on via sensor!). It's always a breeze to pull in and load and unload; there are plenty of carts and a huge elevator. Once I leave I never think twice about my stuff here--which is as it should be, because I know it's in good hands! read more

Moved into a unit here mid-month, and moved out only a few weeks later. Paul was wonderful and very helpful, he walked us around to find the best unit available and explained the fee structure very well (it can be confusing). Facilities are great and the loading dock is accessible! read more

Storage facility has a great location, lots of resources to move in and out of your unit, and the staff is great and really helpful. The problem I've had a couple times now is that there is no warning or notice posted for days the facility is closed when they would otherwise normally be open. Holidays I understand, but the day after Thanksgiving? With no email notice, website, or voicemail update!? You can't just not give people access to their things with no warning or notice when you'll be open again. It's very irresponsible and has complicated my plans on more than one occasion. read more

I was told I would receive half my paid rent for January if I had my unit cleared by the 11th. I got my security deposit f 25 dollars back and nothing else. I called to ask about it and a different person said that it was the 1oth, not the 11th. I repeated I was told the 11th. He repeated that it was the 11th. No sign of customer service anywhere. read more

A few things to note - 1. Employees are courteous, polite and helpful. 2. Company (Noyes) does not back up their mistakes: I stored my car there the past 3 winters with no problems. This year, they forgot to disconnect battery and the battery completely failed and needed to be replaced. It was 2 years old. I emailed the owner, Will Noyes twice with a polite inquiry including the receipt for the new battery, asking only for his consideration for some (not all) assistance towards the new one. No response from him so I stopped in and spoke to him, explaining the situation. He was unwilling to consider any help with it - none, whatsoever. Noyes Self Storage has been a Godsend for storing our records and materials. Ample space and lighting have made all the difference in the world for storing (and at times having to access) documents that we have to maintain. Their personnel have been extremely professional and helpful. Having the peace of mind that the storage areas are safe and dry from the elements, as well as secure, has been a big plus.
