I tend to get very nervous, and she made me feel completely comfortable and reassured that everything would be okay. Over the years I had a few consultations with very reputable surgeons but they didn't give me the confidence to go ahead and do it. Then a friend came from NY to have her facelift with Dr Bolitho. Upon seeing her outcome just a few days after her surgery I was sold! From the first consultation and at every meeting after, Dr Bolitho treated me with the utmost professionalism. He listened carefully, explained in great detail the entire process, answered every question and suggested doing less than I thought I needed. He exudes care and trustworthiness and as he speaks it is very obvious how much he loves what he does. The outcome of my deep plane face and neck lift was absolute perfection! The process could not have been easier. Almost no downtime at all. No pain or bruising, just a pulling sensation which went away as the stitches dissolved. Within 2 days I was off Tylenol and making my own lunch, watching movies and even did some laundry. Within two weeks I was out and about looking and feeling great. It has now been 3 months, there are no traces of having had surgery. I look rested, years younger but not obvious or pulled. I get a lot of compliments from people who can't quite figure out why I look younger and refreshed. When I choose to tell them I had a facelift, they are astonished by how natural I look. They ask to see the scars and are amazed by how hard it is to see them at all. I've lost count of how many times I have been asked to shared his contact. Dr Bolitho exceeded my highest expectations! His work is truly amazing and only matched by his bedside manner. It's obvious how much he enjoys bringing joy to his patients and how proud he is of his work ....and rightly so! His entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend him and only wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The procedure and the recovery were a breeze. I came to him for a neck lift and I will be back to him for my next procedure! It's been a few months and I am very happy with the results. He didn't make big incisions and remove a bunch of skin like all the other doctors wanted to do, and he was more affordable! Great guy, great surgeon!

I went in for a consultation last week and left feeling very uncomfortable. From the start, before…read morethe consultation even began, I was asked to take photos for a simulation without being properly asked or informed, which I declined. During the consultation, I clearly explained what I was looking for. He mentioned under-the-armpit incisions, which interested me, but then quickly insisted that I would need a lift. I explained that I was extremely uncomfortable with a lift due to scarring, but my concerns were dismissed. He spoke very fast, was insistent, and both my support person and I felt lost and talked over. He told me my nipples were "turned down," which I disagreed with, and made unsolicited comments such as women not wanting to "look like a boy," that "guys don't care about scars," and that "you either have scars or you don't have bigger boobs." These comments felt inappropriate and made me feel pressured and insecure rather than supported. Overall, I felt that he did not listen to my goals or respect my boundaries. I booked this consultation specifically because of his advertised experience with endoscopic transaxillary cases and made my preferences very clear, yet I felt pushed toward a procedure I did not want. I would not trust this doctor and would recommend finding a surgeon who truly listens and has experience in the specific approach you're looking for. Additionally after the consultation, I called the office again to clarify whether it would be possible to proceed with an under-the-armpit approach without a lift, since I am comfortable with my breast shape and simply want more volume. He responded that I would "have the same breasts, just bigger," and that I would still have "the same problem." I explained that I do not see my breasts as a problem and that I like them as they are. He then told me that I should find a different doctor.

I am regaining facial movement and function- something I wasn't sure would be possible again and at 6 months I am still improving- My speech is clear, I can drink from a straw and most importantly smile is symmetrical. Dr. Riedler didn't just provide excellent surgical care; she went above and beyond in her follow up- explaining exactly what I should and should not do for achieving the best outcome. At one visit she spent 40 minutes in follow up with me! Her compassion, dedication and genuine concern for her patients sets her apart in every way. Dr. Riedler is a rare kind of surgeon: technically brilliant, deeply empathetic and truly invested in her patients' outcomes, I cannot recommend her highly enough- Thank you for giving me my face back!

I made and appointment for a facial about 6 months after my eye surgery and was booked with Courtney and she was AMAZING!!!! She is so nice and knowledgeable she told me everything she was doing and anything she suggested (without a sales pitch) and made sure to answer all of my questions. I am a now going for facials once a month with Courtney and my skin is looking amazing if I do say so myself:) EYE SURGERY: I came to Dr. Alexander for under eye surgery I had 3 consultations and I ended up going with Dr. Alexander, he made me feel very comfortable and answered my million questions prior, during and post surgery and was just so nice and never made me feel like I was annoying him by all my questions, I have never had surgery before so I was a nervous nelly. I have never known any Dr to reply to messages himself directly and in a timely manner and did I mention I got my surgery near the holidays so I text him on Christmas Eve and he replied? I'm just beyond impressed. My under eyes look AMAZING my only regret is I didn't do it sooner, I feel so much younger and more confident and if I didn't write this review no one would ever know I had a surgery. I can't say enough good things about this practice from my very first email with Joel

I'm writing this review after visiting four different surgeons across multiple health systems,…read moregeographic areas, and genders as I researched options for breast reconstruction following cancer treatment. This was, unfortunately, the only negative experience I had. Scheduling the initial consultation was difficult -- it took weeks, multiple phone calls, and several portal messages just to get on the calendar. For anyone going through a cancer diagnosis, you know how critical timing is -- and how emotionally exhausting it is to wait for care or answers. When I finally met Dr. Reid, I expected an open, collaborative conversation. Instead, most of the time was spent listening to him discuss his publications and accomplishments. I respect medical expertise deeply, but what I needed was empathy, support, and someone who would listen to my concerns and goals. Even more troubling were the casual and insensitive references to my anatomy. This kind of language is jarring and inappropriate when you're sitting in a vulnerable position, talking about reconstructing your body after cancer. To other patients: Please know you have options. I strongly recommend exploring consultations both in and outside of San Diego. There are providers out there who combine clinical excellence with compassion -- and truly listen.
