For years I had been thinking of a face and neck lift but kept putting it off afraid of a possible bad outcome, the amount of downtime and possible pain and discomfort-- At best, I imagined myself swollen and bruised for weeks and needing someone to take care of me. I was very cautious about getting any kind of face lift - but Dr Bolitho and his office team made my experience exceptional. I was a uncomfortable for the week after the procedure but that is to be expected. I had minimal bruising and u can barely see any scars. I work in healthcare and what I've appreciated most about Dr. Bolitho's practice is the communication I've received from the entire staff. It's easy to make an appointment and easy to get in. They accommodated me when I had to cancel an appointment. I went to Dr. Bolitho for his recommendation on a habitual eye blinking issue I was experiencing called blepharoplasty spasms- he himself wasn't able to help me, but he didn't just stop there. Let me first say that I am a male that was looking for a doctor to help me with a case of gynecomastia I had in one breast. I went to at least three other doctors before deciding to go with Dr. Bolitho. What made me go with him over the others? 1. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Calls were returned promptly and questions and concerns were always addressed. 2. Dr. Bolitho himself had a very warm, friendly and yet professional attitude when I first met him. He took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions I had. I felt comfortable that he was more than qualified to perform the procedure. When it comes to the procedure I was a bit nervous but again the staff (Elizabeth) really made me comfortable and put my mind at ease. I was very pleased that the anesthesiologist was very qualified and experienced as well. The surgery went great and the good service continued. Sadly I have to update my review based on my experience over the last year. Mostly it was due to many cancelled appointments but also getting the wrong procedure done. A lot of time the cancellations were at the last minute because either the doctor was going to be out of town (unscheduled) or a patient added on procedures so there wasn't time for mine. Sometimes no explanation. It is my understand the doctor is now taking Friday off which reduces the amount of time he has in the office too. When the appointment was cancelled I would have to wait approximately 6 weeks for another one - no consideration for how long I'd waited for the original appointment. When I finally was within days of having a simple eyelid lift I was told I had to either wait for hours that day as he finished a procedure or come in the previous day. As I had been waiting for this procedure for 8 months (because of cancellations and the incorrect procedure) and had changed another appointment because of the procedure I was stunned to learn that was my option according to Karen- period. I told the doctor when he came in and he said I could come in at 7 a.m. on the original day. I finally got it done and scheduled a consult for a new procedure and yes, it was cancelled a few days before with the next available a month out. There has been a dramatic shift in this office which greatly saddens me as I'd gone there a lot for major and minor procedures and felt I'd established a nice relationship with them. As I said, not only with the cancellations but the doctor did the wrong procedure - eyebrow lift and not an eyelid lift. No explanation, no apology. And I can tell the stress level of the staff has increased too which could be the result of the doctor causing so many schedule changes. After the last cancellation I wrote an email explaining why I couldn't continue with them and did not receive a reply. read more

Today I had my first consultation with Dr. Bolitho - my first impression is higly favorable about him and his staff. At all moments they have been straightfoward and no pricing games at all - I previously went to a different doctor, over the phone they gave me one price around $4,500 after the first visit they raised price by a lot pointing out how many hours of the doctors time it was going to take for my surgery for not being my first one and I just felt they wanted to fool me - so this initial consultation with Dr Bolitho showed me that him and his staff have good and reliable standards. After reading about his experience I also got impressed since he is certified not only in 2 countries but 4!!! He responded to all my questions clearly and listened to my concerns and knew my exact height just by eyeballing me - which talks about his good visual abilities - super important on a cosmetic doctor! I was lied to about the success rate of removing my scar tissue/ breast implants. My body just did it again causing even more pain. It is also suggested you wait a period before even thinking of putting them back in but i guess he had a car payment to make. Also i should have had drains which he did not do.
