Unfortunately, I am deeply unhappy with the results and the total lack of accountability regarding my concerns. My cheeks are noticeably uneven; one side remains significantly larger than the other. Now that over two years have passed since my procedure, I have developed deep irregularities (uneven and lumpy texture) across my cheeks and under my eyes. Instead of a smooth transition, the texture is uneven and looks unnatural. The lip lift left a very prominent and obvious scar underneath my nose. It is not the hidden or discreet result I was led to believe. Despite the facelift, I have an excessive amount of wrinkles around my neck, chin, and mouth area. As time goes on, the hollows and unevenness are becoming more pronounced rather than settling. The cost of these procedures was incredibly high. I feel that the premium prices patients pay are for his massive marketing and social media production, not for superior surgical skill. For the amount of money spent, one expects precision and personalized care, neither of which I received. When I met with Dr. Karam via Zoom four months post-op to express my dissatisfaction, he was dismissive. He refused to guarantee any revision work to correct these clear issues. It is now clear that this is a mass production practice where the focus is on bringing in new clients through polished social media photos rather than ensuring the long-term quality of the work. I deeply regret my decision. I am now forced to seek out another surgeon to perform an expensive revision to fix the damage. Please do your research beyond social media before choosing this clinic.

I had very minimal interaction with Dr. Karam. In addition, the staff didn't bother to follow up and check on me for days after I left. Never would Dr. Karam bother to check on his patients himself at this stage of his career. At his two year ago pricing of $80k the experience would have been ok. But, at his inflated increased pricing of $200k (I ended up paying $186k) the practice has work to do. His team could take some training from Hannah in his office. She is not only outstanding at what she does she saved me from another nurse in the office hurting me unnecessarily when trying to take out my stitches. Hannah's skill set is not only a cut above but she is extremely nurturing . More care less cheerleading would have been more in line with what I expected from Dr. Karam's office. Hannah just seemed to make everything better. And, lastly being left in a hallway when nervous prior to a surgery just isn't acceptable. It wasn't my job to bring comfort to a nervous patient waiting for her surgery appointment. But, I felt the need to do something for her as I felt like she did the day before waiting alone for mine. There are great surgeons with incredible skills and great bed side manners for a fraction of the price. Do more research than I did.

I will be left with scars for life that could have been completely avoided. I am so incredibly unhappy with my results. Not only did I pay a fortune for the "Vertical Restore", lower and upper Bleph, lip lift and fat transfer, I was left with subpar results and the scars are horrendous. The scars left around my face are so incredibly noticeable that I have to get hair-transplanted to cover them. I cannot wear my hair up or back. The scars under my eyes, around my ears and hairline are incredibly noticeable. I have consulted with multiple surgeons in regards to my results, and all are shocked at not only what I paid, but the lack of results and permanent scarring. I have since had to undergo surgery to fix the GIGANTIC scar under my nose from the lip lift (super low), as well as the disproportion of my facelift (jowels left on the left of my face) and the skin that was left under my chin and neck. My neck lift was barely touched, yet the scars are horrendous. I had to have the bags corrected in my 2nd facelift by a SKILLED surgeon. My lower bleph left me with nothing but scars and bags. All of which I pointed out to Dr. Karam. I have asked for a refund to cover the cost of a facelift revision, lower bleph revision, neck lift revision, scar revision therapy as well as the hair transplants to cover the scarring around my face and hairline. I have reached out to Dr. Karam on several occasions, and my concerns were brushed off. I felt intimidated anytime I brought up my concerns, therefore my trust and faith in his ability to make this right has passed. I have since requested that I receive money back to take care of all of the areas that need fixing and I have received no response to my request.

I have a curvy, athletic body, however, my breasts never matched the rest of my figure, as they were pretty much nonexistent. I had my first consolation with Dr. Kearney in 2017, and I knew right away that he would be my doctor (I had gone to 4 other consultations before him!). The consolation was very numbers focused (in regards to measurements and size), straight forward, and no-bullshit. He was honest about which sizes looked best, which type of implant would suit my body better, and overall made me feel confident in his abilities as a surgeon due to his honesty and education. His staff is AMAZING and Dr Kearney himself is extremely honest, blunt, and straight forward, which was exactly what I needed. He has this unique sense of humor that makes you feel at ease and provides that bedside manner that all patients are looking for. I scheduled my surgery shortly after my consultation. Dr Kearney was on time, polite, and reassuring with me come surgery day, making me feel comfortable and confident in my decision with him. I had decided to get 325cc implants, which I was hesitant about as I had a gut feeling that I wanted to go bigger. Fast forward to six months after my surgery (everything went well and I was healing great), I decided that I did in fact was to be larger, so I called Dr Kearney's office and scheduled another consultation for second surgery. Dr. Kearney was great and very understanding with my decision. We scheduled another surgery soon after, and agreed on 450cc's. This surgery went amazing again, and I was SO happy with the final result. He did a phenomenal job both times and was so easy to love during the process. I appreciate his honesty, confidence, and ability to make his patients feel comfortable in their decision. My advice, choose Dr. Kearney for your breast augmentation! AND, go a bit bigger than you think. You won't regret.

I went in for a consultation last week and left feeling very uncomfortable. From the start, before…read morethe consultation even began, I was asked to take photos for a simulation without being properly asked or informed, which I declined. During the consultation, I clearly explained what I was looking for. He mentioned under-the-armpit incisions, which interested me, but then quickly insisted that I would need a lift. I explained that I was extremely uncomfortable with a lift due to scarring, but my concerns were dismissed. He spoke very fast, was insistent, and both my support person and I felt lost and talked over. He told me my nipples were "turned down," which I disagreed with, and made unsolicited comments such as women not wanting to "look like a boy," that "guys don't care about scars," and that "you either have scars or you don't have bigger boobs." These comments felt inappropriate and made me feel pressured and insecure rather than supported. Overall, I felt that he did not listen to my goals or respect my boundaries. I booked this consultation specifically because of his advertised experience with endoscopic transaxillary cases and made my preferences very clear, yet I felt pushed toward a procedure I did not want. I would not trust this doctor and would recommend finding a surgeon who truly listens and has experience in the specific approach you're looking for. Additionally after the consultation, I called the office again to clarify whether it would be possible to proceed with an under-the-armpit approach without a lift, since I am comfortable with my breast shape and simply want more volume. He responded that I would "have the same breasts, just bigger," and that I would still have "the same problem." I explained that I do not see my breasts as a problem and that I like them as they are. He then told me that I should find a different doctor.

My wife underwent body sculpting and a breast lift & augmentation in Nov '22. While the body sculpting was satisfactory, my wife was extremely disappointed with the breast lift & augmentation The results were far from what she requested - the cup size was two sizes smaller than what she asked for, her left breast looked disfigured, and the scars were very large and visible. When we brought these issues to Dr. Rossi's, he was dismissive and sent us a copy of our contract, where he or his staff highlighted "it could require multiple surgeries to deliver the intended results" and a quote for a second surgery. To make matters worse, during my wife's first post-op appointment, we discovered that Dr. Rossi was out of town, and a nurse conducted the post-op care. Unfortunately, this was done incorrectly, further compounding the issues. Fortunately, my wife found a surgeon in Arizona who specialized in fixing botched augmentations. Using the same inspiration photos delivered to Dr. Rossi, my wife received exactly what she requested (size, shape and barely visible scars) from the second surgeon. The second surgeon was reluctant to comment on Dr. Rossi's work but when pressed, he shared his opinion - Dr. Rossi did not cut the muscle wide enough which created the disfigurement. We chose Dr. Rossi for his reputation, expecting world-class care and results, and paid a premium for it. Instead, we were extremely disappointed with the quality of care and attention by Dr. Rossi and his staff. We would urge anyone considering Dr. Rossi to think carefully before making a decision.

When I expressed immediate and legitimate concerns about the grossly asymmetrical, misshapen outcome, I was dismissively met with the condescending remark: "Let's remember, they're sisters, not twins." This patronizing statement was clearly meant to deflect responsibility and silence a vulnerable, young patient who had just trusted him with her body. The result was not only physically disfiguring, but emotionally devastating. At the time, I lacked the personal and emotional support to pursue legal recourse. However, with time and reflection, it's become undeniably clear: I was negligently and carelessly operated on, and the trauma I endured has left lasting scars--both literally and psychologically. To be specific, Dr. Umansky's surgical execution resulted in: Sloppy and uneven internal tissue excision Poorly closed incisions, resulting in significant scarring and dog-ear deformities Asymmetrical areolas, with nipples more than an inch off from one another Long-term disfigurement that has made any corrective procedures extremely complex and costly Despite my desperation and embarrassment, I reached out to the office manager shortly after the surgery to request even a partial refund so I could afford reconstructive work elsewhere. My plea was coldly denied and ultimately ignored. The lack of professional accountability shown by both Dr. Umansky and his office was reprehensible. Since then, I have consulted with multiple board-certified plastic surgeons, all of whom confirmed the extensive damage done and emphasized the difficulty of now restoring what was once a healthy, intact chest. One even stated that the tissue had been "butchered"--their words, not mine. I have photographic documentation of both the immediate post-op results and my current condition, which I am prepared to share publicly and with appropriate legal channels if necessary. If the platform allowed, I would upload these images in full to give others the visual proof of what I have suffered due to Dr. Umansky's substandard care. Dr. Umansky, whether your staff chose to shield you from the fallout or not, you should know: your conduct was not only negligent but borders on medical malpractice. Your failure to take responsibility--medically or financially--for the irreversible damage you caused is inexcusable. I gave everything I had to pay for that surgery, and in return, I was left physically distorted and emotionally broken. This message is for the patients who have been silenced, dismissed, or gaslit into thinking they had no right to speak up. I speak now because I have found my voice--and others deserve to find theirs too. Your actions, Dr. Umansky, were not only unprofessional and unethical--they were, and remain, absolutely unforgivable.

Horrible bedside manner: insulting, talks over me at all appointments, dismissive of my concerns pre and post op, very paternalistic in his approach and repeatedly at separate post op appointments tried to justify his results by saying "you should be happy with your results because before You looked like Mr. Peanut!" At my last appointment I finally had to tell him to stop describing me like "MR. PEANUT" because it is insensitive. He just shrugged his shoulders and looked at me with an expression like "well you looked like Mr. Peanut!" I had a brow asymmetry and needed my right eyebrow lifted and the edges of both brows pulled up "fox brows." I had been correcting with Botox for 10 Years and it was just becoming a burden and is tricky for injectors. I came in 3 separate times with Dr Chasen to go over and over what I wanted and be precise because he talked over me a lot and he brushed off what I said. I showed pictures of "fox brows," I pulled up my eyebrow edges to demonstrate, he said "yeah yeah I'll pull up from there." I felt unsure he understood what I wanted because our appointments were so quick and he talked over me, but his step daughter the billing intake assured me he knows what "fox brows" are and "I'd love the results!" I assumed an eyebrow lift must be such a straightforward easy procedure and must be why he is so dismissive. I paid 9k, even though I was quoted 5k by Dr Umansky in La Jolla, I paid more because I assumed being in Del Mar he must be good and since it is my face, it is worth it. He did my procedure in 30 minutes. After it settled my right brow was STILL lower, still requires Botox to make them even. I had no outward lifting, as in NO FOX BROW. He changed my arch to be a frown shape-so no arch and no fox brows, just 2 ugly frowns. At the first post op he said "I'll just add some Botox to lift your lower brow and if you're not happy-we can go back in under local and fix it!" When I came back he was in a bad mood, didn't even listen, said my head was tilted in the photo and they are actually "even" and "I've done this on thousands of patients and doing this for 30 years, I know more than you and if you don't like it, that's on you, I'm not touching it and if you want it fixed go somewhere else." And walked out and didn't even say good bye to me. Mind you-I was polite, kind, gentle when I admitted I didn't love my results and still think my right eyebrow just wasn't lifted enough. I said I wouldn't even be mad if we had to go back in to correct-i just wanted a good result. I had tears in my eyes, I even cried a little at the last appointment, I was never rude, I never yelled, I kindly asked him not to describe me as Mr Peanut, but otherwise did not deserve after spending all that money to be treated like a piece of shit. :( I'm don't know if I'm more upset about my treatment or my eyebrows. I do know that Dr Chasen figured out by my address that my husband is friends with his ex partner Dr Vince Marin whom they had a falling out with and perhaps this was a personal vendetta, who knows. At one of my first appointments he mentioned "my old partner Dr Marin always swore by sculptra and it never worked, that guy didn't know what he was doing!" Anyway, yes, it's better, but it easily could have been even and I did not get any lateral eyebrow raise/fox brows! I STILL have to correct them with Botox. I was treated like a piece of shit for not graveling at his feet and being honest about my dissatisfaction. I should have listened to my gut in the beginning
