Not only was she extremely thorough and professional, but she also went above and beyond what we originally asked her to do. She was incredibly kind and patient with my grandparents, and even spent time chatting with them. My grandparents felt comfortable with her right away and were very happy with both her work and her company. The apartment looks so much better, and we were so impressed that my grandparents will definitely be having her back for additional cleaning. It's hard to find someone who is hardworking, trustworthy, and genuinely caring, but she is all of those things. I highly recommend her services!

*** SCAMMER *** If I could give zero stars, I would. As…read moreothers have said, she doesn't do the work promised and sometimes doesn't do any work at all. This happened a year ago. She insisted on Cash App payments of "deposits", then no-showed without any communication. She told me she was booked up until after the holidays and has kids so to wait until then to reschedule. I contacted her right after New Year's and she requested an ADDITIONAL deposit. I paid. Then she wanted MORE money. Eventually, I blamed myself for being a sucker. My husband didn't even trust her anymore to have her in our home. He thought she might case our house. I just gave up. Out $345 and no cleaning and, even though she said she would refund, she never did and blocked me. LESSON: If they can't take a credit card or payment on the day they arrive to do the work, find someone else.

I had been so let down for so long, I just decided to go for it. From the initial emails, to my estimate, to the actual cleaning. WOW!! They email you back very quickly! She was willing to come over for the initial estimate the same day!!! (I had to make it for the next day, but still impressive!!). When she came over, I told her the best time to clean for me would be early afternoons, but I could try to swing earlier. Couldn't even believe her response, 'We will find a day and time that works for your schedule.' Wait, what?? Seriously??? The whole reason I hired a cleaning company was to save me time. That's exactly what you want to hear. Couldn't even believe it! My time and money is important, and they were already treating me like that Had the estimate emailed to me within a couple of hours. Awesome!! The first time they came, I didn't have to run around trying to correct things they missed after they left (before the husband got home). That was weird for me. I ran around and couldn't find anything they missed. In fact, they even got places the other company had missed for 6 months (esp. behind the toilet!!!!) They've been here 3 times now, and they do the regular cleaning plus a couple of other things you wouldn't think of. This time they cleaned the light switches, and my ten year old hairdryer!! Lolol. It looks brand new again!! Can't even recommend them enough!! Seriously!!! Call MayLav. They are professional, thorough, and very nice to deal with. You won't be disappointed!!

First point of contact was with Charlotte Lee, she was kind and courteous. When i explained our situation, that our insured was standing in 5 inches of water in his basement and more coming in due to continued rain she stated that she would be more than happy to get over there that day to help him. She asked me to text her the name and address of our client. I called our client to let him know that she was going to finish up a home review and head right over. She did just that! She helped him move his belongings as well as some valuables that he really would have been sad to lose. they started right away on removing the water and saving his beautiful hard wood. Charlotte called several times throughout the day updating me on progress and steps taken. There is nothing more worrisome than not being able help your insured, to know that they are well cared for is such a help! I called to check on our insured to be sure that all is to his satisfaction and he stated "Better than I hoped for! I am impressed!" I will for sure be keeping them in our list of contacts for the "God forbid" Scenarios! Thank you for taking care of my insured.

Around 1pm, I texted him saying that if I did not receive a response by 5pm, I would book another service. He responded 15 minutes later, saying that the cleaners could come Saturday morning instead. I am writing this review at 10:40am on Saturday, after texting and calling Jose at 8:30am and 9:54am. I have received no response, and there have been no cleaners sent to my address. Overall, this experience has wasted a lot of time and effort on my part. Wow. I find this very unprofessional and disappointing that Carolyn, the owner didn't bother to call me directly, or even her or Debbie didn't comment on my Yelp review or call to try to investigate further. It felt like a retaliation even thought I've been a loyal paying customer for some time now. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. ____________ Let me preface this review with if I rated this some months when I'm home and they clean, the rating would be higher; a 4. When I'm not home some months and they come (they came recommended by a very particular/neat freak friend of mine) the rating is a 3. In order to have the veterans clean my house, I had to switch my days and sometimes I don't work at home. I am a busy professional woman but am pretty tidy and clean. However, I want someone to do a really good deep cleaning once a month. At times they are careless and don't put things back in order; leave my oven range light on and seem to be rushed at times since the owner books them so tightly between houses. Debbie has been good to work with, but I shouldn't have to write notes each month of the same reminders. (It should be kept in my file especially since they do reminder calls before your cleaning.)
