Shayla was very responsive each time I reached out and was able to schedule each cleaning within a couple of days of me reaching out. She was diligent in checking in during and after each cleaning, even sending me photos of the job during my first cleaning when I was not local yet. A few days after I moved in, I needed someone to clean out debris from my two fireplaces due to a chimney-removal job. Shayla was able to send Martina right over -- though we had a small snafu with the type of vacuum that Martina had on hand -- the dust from the brick was so fine that the standard vacuum didn't have the proper filter to keep the dust from flying all over the first floor. But Martina was great and adjusted her methods with the second fireplace in our second floor. A few days after that, I had to call them AGAIN because I had spilled paint on my carpet. I don't think it is acceptable, but it's already the last day before I return the keys so I have to agree. This is so disgusting. For over the past year I have been struggling with recurring cancer and ongoing chronic health issues, just some insight as to why I was looking into a cleaner. We clicked instantly, she happens to be a special needs mama and I happen to be a behavioral therapist/special education teacher (not working due to the cancer). She took care with items that had a lot of meaning to me like family pictures and antiques. She asked questions and really paid attention to small details that would help me out in my day to day life. She didn't just come in and out and go through the motions. She was extremely kind, compassionate, empathetic and supportive, she made me feel valued as a person as she took care of my home and its contents. Stephanie transformed my house into a home again. It looked beautiful by the end of her time there and I felt immediate relief because taking care of my home had become such a large burden on me when my health declined. Often times we don't want to burden others so we do not ask for help, or we feel like we should be able to do x,y, and z. It took a lot for me to swallow my pride and send her a message and I couldn't be happier that I did. Now I feel happy in my home again, I find myself smiling more and spending more time doing things that I enjoy with my family and friends, instead of spending time stressing over my home "to-do list."
