Not only did John detect the direness of our tire's worn-down state, but he managed to acquire the replacement tires needed at a reasonable price, and squeeze us in to have the car ready the next morning, thus assuring we could get back on the road to California on the safest tires possible and on schedule. While they were inside, a man whom I can only assume was the owner came out and began yelling at me across the parking lot about the restroom. When my husband exited the bathroom due to the YELLING he was hearing, he then continued to yell at my husband and talk over us repeating the conversation and swearing. We always try to be respectful of service stations as well as purchase items if we have to use any utilities but after he threatened to call the police and began involving other customers acting like my husband was threatening him when he asked what was going on, we left with our young child for her safety. My advice to the owner of this station is to put up a sign indicating the bathrooms at your gas station are not for public use. I understand the singular toilet flush is probably more overhead cost than that business can handle but holy cow get a life. And a sign.
