There are only four pumps and one man working there at any one time, so there tends to be a line, but the place is set up so that all the cars enter from one end and exit from the other, so everyone moves along pretty quickly. The guys who work there are also really nice. This place doesn't do anything but pump your gas - no air for your tires, no washing your windows, no attached convenient store - but when the weather is gross and you don't feel like standing outside for 5 minutes pumping your gas, this is definitely the place to go.

When I would come inside to get a breakfast sandwich the breakfast case would often be closed up in the morning. I was told I could just order whatever I wanted from the people working the counter. The sandwiches themselves are mediocre. The english muffin has an odd consistency. Considering they reheat these it shouldn't taste like it comes from a gas station but it does. I get one of these when I'm starving and run out of time in the morning(like 1/year). The gas pumps have some kind of plastic glove dispenser which make using the pumps harder. To make matters worse, they are usually empty. I don't know if people are just throwing them out or stealing them to use later but the dispensers are always empty. The whole notion of these is ridiculous. Exactly what problem they are trying to solve? No one uses them for their intended purpose as no one gets gasoline all over their hands pumping your own gas. Makes me wonder if the person making the decision to put these on the pumps is a germaphobe.

Not only did John detect the direness of our tire's worn-down state, but he managed to acquire the replacement tires needed at a reasonable price, and squeeze us in to have the car ready the next morning, thus assuring we could get back on the road to California on the safest tires possible and on schedule. John and his wife are generous, professional, and all around lovely people. I wish we had them out here in Los Angeles because I'd take my car there every time.
