They tuned it a few months ago and today they installed a new exhaust and air intake. I planned on dropping it off but john said no man, stay. Won't take us long. John is the absolute best, i was in and out in a few hours and the car is just perfect. John constantly let me speak to the mechanic which im sure he didn't like, lol throughout the project and i cant say enough. The mechanic was so nice and knowledgeable, I've never felt with someone working on my car. Beautiful clean waiting room with drinks,TV amd couches. Its just such a great experience being there at zaks auto in Hudson nh. Dont do it to urself bring ur vehicle to zaks for anything u need done. More then fair pricing and a great group of guys. They have one of the cleanest shops I've ever been in. Another great job done by zaks. Thanks guys, c u this winter

My review to Zaks auto:…read more I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change, brake fluid flush, and other maintenance before a Porsche Club of America (PCA) track event. They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.

I have a bit of an…read moreolder car and they were really helpful on the first repair, but then when I was talking about fixing other stuff on the car they became very dismissive and patronizing and told me "it's an old car, it's gonna make noises" which is true to a point but the problems i was looking to get fixed are safety related and affect how the car operates and they're still brushing me off and now won't reply at all. These people act nice but the level of laziness and incompetence here is astronomical. Do yourself a favor and take the car somewhere THATS NOT HERE and that actually cares about your car AND your opinion. STAY AWAY!

But today is my first time here since Joe stopped working the back desk and I'm here for my 12pm appointment for an oil change. I think Joe needs to come back to running this place from the back dea

He cursed at the sound to himself under his breath, this set the tone for who I knew I was working with. Door totally functional, I had not greased it recently. He miss judged front marker light, he thought there was a bulb behind it and there was not. Top of rear wheels had minor rust. Trailer hitch not allowed. Failed inspection. Totally agree that we need to live by the States rules no argument. But the number of photos and videos he uploaded to the state are EXCESSIVE showing his true character & values. The following is not my comment but rather from a follow up inspection station I took vehicle to. That the failure was excessively done. Rudy's Station narrated / spoke through the videos, clearly a cya and embarrassing for Rudy's Fuel & Auto Service. At the follow up station I took it to, I explained no front marker light, reviewed trailer hitch and I did cover the very minor rust. My point with all this is do not trust the underlying values & character even after receiving good will. Cursing at the sound of the door spoke volumes. If the state can observe them on camera, you can be part of the process too. Rudy's forces you to go sit on a bench on other side of bldg so you can not approach it as a team.
