Record your conversations with them, as I did. I experienced weaponized incompetence, gaslighting, manipulation by the male employees during my October 2023 new roof installation. As of 7/11/24 I still have a hole in my decking, despite paying for a new roof installation. I reached out to the company's owner, hoping to resolve these matters and to utilize the advertised warranty associated with my purchase. Unfortunately, haven't received a response from anyone regarding my concerns on installation, requested paperwork, warranty, or the proper caulking of flashing for my home. Please note: I called them before Hurricane Beryl to look at my roof as part of the warranty and of 7/11/24 I have "not" received a response. ****Buyers Beware****

I am so pleased with the quality of my new roof and the level of care and professionalism that Klint and his team demonstrated. My new roof is far superior to my previous as Klint worked hand-in-hand with my insurance company to ensure that they were able to address all of the deficiencies that the prior roof had as a result of home builders cheaper products and installation techniques. My roof is far superior to what it was previously and I'm confident will bring us years of security and enjoyment. I do live in Katy city limits and Klint was seamlessly able to navigate their inspections and certification requirements so I encourage anyone needing a roof inspection, repair, or replacement to give Klint a call at 832-520-7402

My brother had a leaking roof and I figured it likely was storm damaged and/or needed to be replaced. I reached out several 5-star rated companies on Yelp ...all of which had more than 20+ reviews. Callen inspected the roof and said the roof looked fine, but there two spots where water was leaking from the roof vents. The total repair was $560. I was floored ...and thankful.

RECODES completed a full bathroom remodel for us, including converting a tub into a shower and…read moreinstalling all new fixtures. I was told the work came with a two-year warranty. However, about six months later, I began noticing brown water and sludge seeping up from the bottom of the shower curb onto the bathroom floor. I contacted RECODES, and they came out to inspect the issue. They even removed and reinstalled the toilet to rule out a leak. After I had an independent plumber verify that the toilet was not the source of the problem, RECODES returned a second time and simply recaulked the shower with a bluish-tinted caulk. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. More recently, I had two separate remodeling professionals inspect the shower. Both concluded that the shower pan was improperly installed and that the shower floor would need to be completely torn out and replaced at an estimated cost of around $3,000. In addition to the shower issue, the project was somewhat disorganized, with numerous different workers involved throughout the process, and they left a considerable mess along the side of our house. To be fair, the stairs, railing, and balcony they built still look great. However, the bathroom floor is now damaged, and brown sludge continues to seep up through the grout lines and cracks. Given the ongoing issues and the lack of a proper resolution, I unfortunately cannot recommend RECODES.

I had Advanced Home Exteriors replace the siding on my home, as well as the exterior doors. Out of…read more3 bids, theirs was the most reasonable, plus I saw that they had a history of good reviews and had also done good work for a friend. Overall I was very impressed by the quality of installation of the siding -- Hardie board underlain by 3/4" strandboard, with sealant and painting. The precision of assembly was quite good, and a considerable improvement in strength and durability over the original siding. Likewise, the doors were installed with good precision, and they function well. I was less impressed with the finer painting of the doors. The basic contract included only exterior painting of the doors in the same color as the exterior of the house. We wanted a different colored door, plus we wanted to have the interiors of the doors painted, as well as the addition and painting of corresponding trim (doors have 2 sides). This was all coordinated directly with the project supervisor for an additional fee. This additional work was mostly completed on the final day of the project, and appeared to be a rush job. The trim was added with rough jointing, and the painting around the doors was amateurish with much overpainting of adjacent surfaces. I had to subsequently revise the painting myself to achieve an adequate quality. Overall, the work on the exterior siding and door installation was excellent, and I highly reccommend Advanced Home Exteriors for this. Finer painting about the doors was a weaker area, and I'm knocking off a star for that.
