Stopped in here last night for the crab leg / seafood buffet First off I must say the cashier and hostess were extremely friendly Our server was nice enough but was never around. He got our drinks and we didn't see him again until we were leaving Our bussed Aaron was excellent !! He kept our plates cleared never letting anything pile up We saw him a total of 6 times during our visit verses our server once ... smh I sure hope y'all are paying your Busters more the. Your servers because they are the ones doing all the work Now for the food We got there about 1/2 after the opened for dinner So all the food was fresh and hot Very kind of seafood from crab legs to deep friend oysters, salmon, clams, deep friend fish, shrimp and even sushi All was excellent Nice salad bar Only thing lacking was he desserts Usually any casino buffet you find excellent choices of desserts but not here The placement of the dessert are even unappealing The are on a show over salads and such Really need a desert bar of its own I would have give a 5 star but just can't due to our server When in the area we would most likely come back because the food was really good and a good value at $27 a person read more

This is the buffet inside of the casini in Anderson. First, i nust say I'm not really fond of buffets...because of people being all over them. I feel like its kind of dark and drab here. The food was not bad . The prime rib was well seasoned and nice and te ser. They had some black eyed peas that were delicious, they offer a full salad bar with all kind of different type of salads from pasta, potato, beets. Etc. Really good buffet! We were here for Sunday brunch. We had a half off coupon for one buffet and with casino points, only paid $23 for two people. The place was clean and the good very hot and fresh. Great crab legs, shrimp cocktail, roasted beef, ham, fried chicken and waffles...all super good! Nice fruit and chocolate fountain. They had a decent dessert section, but nothing spectacular. Definitely worth trying if you like buffets. Clean, hot and fresh! Great service. read more

The buffet is very typical. The shrimp cocktail is descent with a nice sauce. The prime rib is ok, not as tender or flavorful as one would expect. The salads are good as well as the soup. Not worth the extra $ for crab legs in my opinion. Worth a stop. read more

It's a Thursday so they were not busy by any means. The food wasn't awesome. So much so that I feel like the $10 we each spent was wasted and it was only $10! For a buffet there surprisingly were not that many options. The food clearly had been sitting for a while and none of it appeared to be made from scratch. I'm wondering if the food is better on the weekends when they are busier...? I heard they have way more options and if it's busy the food has to be fresher right... I'm giving them two stars because the place was clean but the food was not worth the small price we had to pay. We would never come back to this place to eat again. read more

I was very disappointed with the quality of the food at the Prime Harvest Buffet at Hoosier Park. To spend thirty dollars, I don't expect to get crab legs that are hollow and not very tasty. Ever since they changed brands/distributors of the shrimp and crab, I have not been happy. The fried chicken and fish was still good, but that was not my main reason for eating at the buffet. The servers are always attentive and polite, but you should be concerned to not have a crowded room when unlimited crab legs are on the menu. I did voice my concerns to our server and the supervisor. Everything was awesome when we first started going there 12 years ago. Over the years it basically was still pretty good. But the last three times we've gone, "The price has gone up & the crab legs were empty shells." Sad, because this was our favorite place for our birthdays, holidays and anniversaries." This is easily the worst casino buffet I've ever visited (not typical in any way), and I've visited several. I visited for the seafood buffet, and it's a joke. Sure, there are crab legs and shrimp, but they're not of good quality. The prime rib was fine the first time, then it was cooked well- so it might as well have just been roast beef. The rest of the buffet is a complete joke! Very sparing options otherwise. For instance, the only heated vegetable options were peas & carrots and corn. Better options at Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet! The desserts weren't great, with the cakes actually wrapped in plastic wrap! The fondue had a funny tinge in The pasta section is an interesting option, but when I tried to eat my pasta, the marinara sauce had a sour taste to it. And don't get me started on customer service. You never quite know who your waiter is. I saw several employees just hanging out by the front desk and talking to each other, but it took me 10 minutes after my iced tea was empty to get a refill. And all of this is enjoyed while various casino employees are rolling food carts by your table to the back kitchen. Nice design Hoosier Park- diners really enjoy seeing and hearing their uncooked food be strolled by them while they eat! Had this been a $5 buffet, I would have sung a different tune. But at $25 for a "seafood and prime rib" buffet, I felt completely ripped off. Stay away! read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a group of about 18 they accommodated us all. The tables were dirty even AFTER we watched them wipe the tables down & had to request they be wiped down again. The food wasn't good because nearly everyone in our group complained about the food. The best thing they had going for them was a pasta bar where they make the pasta right there for you. Well of course I get a cheese tortellini & I think that's what caused me to get sick that night. Like coming out of both ends sick. Staff are generally friendly. Price is high, unless you have a coupon. Crab legs are small. Prime rib is good (buffet quality). Not many sides to choose from, but multiple salad options. Pasta bar is the best part, but very slow. On our most recent visit the broccoli was absolute mush and carrots were rock hard. The worst part for me is the poor level of cleanliness! Aprons are disgusting and stained. My shoes stuck to the floor. Buffet had food drippings everywhere. Deserts tasted terrible, as if they were day-old from a grocery bakery (stale, bland, artificial). In general, this isn't the worst place I've been and going occasionally is ok. Don't go and expect to have an amazing experience full of gourmet food. read more

Really good food, not the big selection you'd think a casino puts on but the food they did have was all really good.

I went on 2/10/2018 for the Prime and seafood buffet. The Crab legs were just ok, but the pan was always full and you could have as many as you like. The Salmon was a tad dry but had good flavor. Shrimp was not iced and was barely cold. The Prime was over cooked and had zero flavor for being the signature dish you would think it should be great, not the case here. The soups were fantastic, chicken noodle and cream of broccoli. The bread pudding was good but was disappointed that the cakes and pie were the frozen type. Now for the service. I must give a big thumbs up to PERZ the bus boy who seemed to be doing everyone else job for them. This young man did a fantastic job and was very polite. He was not even my bus boy but seemed mine had better things to do then work. As for my waiter I rarely seen him, was half through my 1st plate before I even received my soda. He also chewed gum the entire time. I hope the bus boys make more then the wait staff because they sure do most the work. The lady at the cash register was very pleasant. One of the ladies behind the salad bar was talking VERY loud. So in all I would have to say buffet was small and not all that great surely not worth $26.00. read more

This was a typical buffet, lots of food and selections, but not very high quality. On Sundays it was $15 all you can eat, and I ate my fill. I've come here a few times, but don't make it a habit. Worth trying once at least. read more

The weekday lunch buffet is a great deal, only $5.99! You can't beat that. Aside from the regular buffet items (salad bar, desserts, various meats) they also have a pasta bar where you can choose your pasta type, veg/meat toppings, and sauce and they will cook it up right there for you. They also had some decent pizza and sugar free desserts. My only gripe would be that they have very limited options in the salad bar. I prefer a plethora of veggies, nuts, and dried fruits but it was pretty slim pickins. However, $5.99 is a real steal especially since I am usually a huge loser in the casino. read more

My husband and I ate here on Wed. April 30 2014 at 5 PM. We have eaten here in the past on the seafood weekends and the food was decent. I ate here once during the week for dinner months ago and was dissapointed but wanted to give it another shot. I will NEVER eat during the week here again!! The food was awful! Got cod was cold and rubbery.......waited til they brought out new and it was warm and rubbery. Chicken was worse that store brought frozen. Most of the food was lukewarm to cold(mashed potatoes were cold). Only good thing to eat was pasta at pasta station and cold salad. At 15.99 a pop was not worth it! read more

Seafood buffet is one of our favorites. The wife had plenty of crab legs and prime rib. I had lots of shrimp and also the make your own pasta. That wasn't so great. I'll stick with the seafood on the buffet. Salad bar is very good as well. Carving station had prime rib, turkey, sausage and salmon. It's worth the price tag. read more

I have been to this buffet three times and each time it has gotten progressively worse. Out last visit was yesterday, Sunday, May 29th. The staff was apathetic at best - not a single smile, zero personality. The food, advertised as a "Sunday Brunch" consisted of: pizza, fried chicken, pot stickers, rubbery shrimp, canned soup, a salad bar, something called a steamboat roast, sausage, bacon, hockey puck biscuits, white gravy, smoke sausage, fried shrimp, hush puppies, tilapia, and waffles. The "chocolate fountain" was not working and was literally just sitting there looking like a chocolate swamp. The dessert selection was three frozen, floury cobblers, a bread pudding and a selection of two bite cakes/cheesecakes - all of which seemed to come directly from the freezer. We have this a shot, figuring that on Memorial Day weekend, at dinner time, they would up their game...sadly, it just was not the case. $23 per person for school cafeteria food. This buffet is terrible. I think they found the worst hospital chef they could find and hired them. Cold food, bad presentation, few selections. At over $10.00 for lunch it is about $20.00 overpriced. The only redeeming factor was our server was very good. At least they got that right. Needless to say we won't be back. read more
