Alright if you want a good ass cut, come here. No doubt they get you right. But it said on the wall 30$ for a haircut and the man asks for 40 and I typically give 10$ tips because that's what they deserve when they give a good cut, but like bro it said 30$ on the wall... I've never paid 50$ in my entire life for a haircut. I'm assuming he did it because nobody typically tips which is bs for the barber but I am a little butt hurt about a 50$ haircut not gonna lie. Super friendly (and talented) staff. Jacob has cut my boys' hair for several years now. One gets a fade and the other a shadow fade. Jacob never disappoints and his humor makes the boys want to keep coming back. The new location is super convenient across from Funko with street parking & a parking garage nearby. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 4:30 pm scheduled appointment. Barber Bailey was finishing up with a customer and said I'll be with you in a few. I waited 50 minutes until I asked him how much longer since I have been waiting 40 minutes past my schedule all he said was I am sorry. It was completely unprofessional to schedule an appointment with a customer and not stick to it. And then not tell the Customer the truth on how long it would take. I only come to Prime Fades to get my hair cut and buzzed underneath with a design. I've had a lot of different designs buzzed underneath my hair and I've never left without a smile on my face. Where do I even start with this place? I walk in to get my haircut at 9:30am because that is the time I scheduled my appointment.This was only suppose to be a 30 minutes appointment, but it was looking like it was going to take a lot longer. 5 minutes go by, 10 minutes go by, 15 minutes go by, 20 minutes go by and then I get acknowledged that I have been waiting for a haircut. The response is the best part, "I am almost done here, he should have scheduled an hour long appointment." I don't see how that is the customers problem when you are talking about getting drunk and God knows what else. I guess that's their form of "Locker room talk," but I found it rude and unprofessional. This was my first experience with Prime Fades and it will definitely be my last. I've been taking my boys to this barber for the last 5 years. My husband, who recently grew a beard over the last few years, had also started coming here for his head shaving and beard trim. My boys always look so good when they come back from there and I look forward to their visits! It's a real barber vibe and my kids love going. I was taking my boys here to get their haircut here for a while. We were comfortable here. Unfortunately the person we saw left the shop so we decided to give Marcos a try. With the portfolio we saw, we thought a fade and a line up would be a simple in and out. I set the appt and left specific instructions for him since my husband was taking him and I had to work. I specified that this haircut was for my son's senior pictures. Pictures being 4 days away. So my husband sent me pictures of the haircut as I requested later that night. And there was a chunk taken out the front of his head. I call the shop and of course he and the shop owner are gone so i leave my name & number because I'm not satisfied with the service. And no one even had the respect to call me and at the very least apologize. Needless to say we won't be going back. To anyone considering going here for an important haircut, I'd advise against it. Today was my first experience with Prime Fades and it definitely won't be my last. Brought my 6 year old son in for a cut with Sarah, and she was absolutely amazing! We have been going to another barber shop in the area for awhile now and it just seems like the service and cuts have been going down hill, so we decided to try something new, and I'm so happy we did! Sarah cut my son's hair (which included a fade and some corrective work due to the last barber) in less than 30 minutes. At the other place it normally takes 45 minutes to an hour (my son is very good at sitting still, so the timing has nothing to do with him). The cut she did was also far superior to any previous cuts he's gotten at other barber shops. Sarah's price for a kid's cut is $20, which is what I was paying at the other place for a subpar cut. Sarah is definitely worth the price, though! Not only did Sarah exceed my expectations, but the shop was also very clean and nice. First off my brother goes here and his barber is really nice and professional. She takes her time and that is the most important thing when someone is trusting you with their look. My brother made an appointment for me with tejuan. I was on edge cause most of his work is just fades and doesn't seem like he does much with the hair on top. My brothers barber Showed me his Instagram which re assured me and I wanted to give it a shot. Keep in mind fifteen minutes have passed by all this guy has done is sit in his chair and put his headphones in. He seems like the barber who kinda just is fine with his regulars he has already and doesn't make an effort to get new business. After another 30-45 minutes he still hasn't come up to me or anything. He just sat in his chair and watched videos. I'm glad I didn't get my hair cut by him because I know he wouldn't have put any care or thought into it. He would've just got me in and out like a fast food restaurant type of customer service. This review is to keep you from having the same experience the only thing that saved it was my brothers barber. She was friendly, she took her time cutting my brothers hair, and after his haircut proved it. If you come into this shop ask for the female barber she's the only brunette. While we were in there some customer slammed the door as he left. My guess is one of the other barbers didn't remember they had a reservation. read more

While they do take Walk Ins, it's impossible to determine if slots will be open when someone randomly shows up. Advice: book an appointment online. It takes minutes and you can access it right from this App. Jacob will be my barber from now on. Great attitude, really listens and makes plenty of recommendations on how to approach hair. Very satisfied and highly recommend him. However, if he is booked, feel free to make an appointment with anyone in this shop. i was let down by the comments, i was told i would be happy with my cut and ended up the tota opposite. do not trust for any kind of haircut other than a regular number on top & number on sides basic cut or kid cut! nobody here knows how to do a good fade or taper! dont trust me and end up walking out with a messed up cut! prime fades my a**! should rename to "basic cuts only" ive been here 3 times and all 3 times i was let down with very bad cuts. only gave them a star because i had to put something. read more
