I'm extremely disappointed with McCoy's Building Supply and the way employees are treated at the…read moreTomball location. From what I witnessed, there was favoritism, unfair treatment, and a very hostile work environment toward employees of color. One employee in particular was constantly singled out, picked on, and threatened with write-ups over small things while others were treated differently. What made the situation even worse was how management handled a family death. An employee was grieving the loss of his father and was reportedly threatened with disciplinary action for arriving late on the day of the funeral. Later, he was fired for being 10 minutes late even after giving advance notice ahead of time. That shows a serious lack of compassion and respect for employees. There were also repeated racist remarks and language in the workplace that made the environment uncomfortable and unacceptable. No employee should have to deal with discrimination or hostility while simply trying to do their job. I hope corporate takes these concerns seriously and works to create a more respectful and fair workplace for everyone.

I am very impressed! As you can see by the photos, it turned out great - excellent as a matter of fact! I have absolutely no complaints. Kenyon, Mike and Jorge from Houston Granite Remnants were very responsive to what I wanted and great at responding. I purchased two granite slabs at an excellent price from their granite yard in the "west location" at 16745 North Freeway. They had me purchase the backsplash tile so I went to The Tile Shop for the tile and grout so Kenyon's crew could do the installation of that. This is the first time I have ever had granite installed on my end, so it was a good learning experience for me on how it works. I have had a lot of tile work done over the years and the tile work Kenyon's team did for me was top notch! Excellent job as well; see photos. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing granite or quartz work done. I will be going back to them when I refinish my master bathroom as well. I have provided a link to their website below as well. https://houstongraniteremnants.com/

Not helpful, will follow you around but when asked simple questions about wood working to help my purchase they will suddenly have little to no "expertise". To me I doubt that's the truth but they were so focused on catching me if I was stealing that they were unable to reframe their bias when asked for their assistance. To me, it seems like they should all be retrained but we all know the older generation is incapable of changing their mindset. It really sucks that Rockler, a large and well-known high-quality woodworking organization that is the best and one of the only options in this area has workers like this. It's a shame and is a hindrance to a hobby I want to participate in.

Caleb Rodriguez from the Texan Toolbox was fantastic. He came exactly on time, worked diligently until the job was complete, covered my rugs so they were stain free where he worked, and cleaned up after himself. I'm so pleased with the final product. Buying a door is one thing, but if it's not installed properly no matter how good a product it is, things will just not look right. Caleb did a fabulous job.
