The cleaning and services were rushed and nothing as I have had in the past at other places. They seemed pretty angry that I opted to not have an expensive procedure done. I have good insurance and it being the first time the bill was over $150. I paid it and went on my merry way. 6 months later they hounded me to come in for a cleaning. That ended up with them telling me that they needed to take an xray with the cleaning. With the doctor spending no more than maybe 5 minutes with me both visits and out another $120. Now to today, I walk in to the front desk, the first I spoke to was a bit rude and tells me that I have to pay my co-pay up-front of $210 for a cleaning? and xrays that the insurance covers. Telling me the insurance only covers 50%. No they only cover 50% of your inflated prices. This place is a money mill, they dont really care about their patients only how much money they can get out of them.

Several years ago, I had gone to Dossett Dental in North Dallas for a routine checkup, and they lied to me, saying I had eight cavities. I was completely shocked and upset because I hadn't experienced any pain or problems. Also, I'm obsessive about oral hygiene - I brush my teeth after every meal (even on the go), own a Sonicare, and floss regularly. I had to save money to pay what they wanted to charge, and luckily, during that time I moved to Frisco. Needing a local dentist, I'm so grateful I found Dr. Lee. After examining my mouth, he told me I had ZERO cavities (not even potential ones) and told me my hygiene was spot-on. He even went over the X-rays to show me nothing was amiss. Now I was shocked I had been lied to by Dossett Dental to that extent! I have been with Dr. Lee for almost a decade now and, lo and behold - no problems, no cavities. He's happy to address your concerns but doesn't charge outrageously or try to sell you on anything. Also, the hygienist is very sweet and has a light touch. My mom went in for a deep cleaning and agreed they're true professionals here. Cannot thank or recommend Dr. Lee and his staff enough!

Dr Lee tried to force it in place and drilled what was left of my existing tooth down. Then Dr Lee used more force to place the crown. Finally, Dr Lee gave up and ordered another crown and on third re-order the crown fit. However, with all the force Dr Lee used I developed a very bad tooth ache for a few days. The tooth with the new crown and the tooth next it are still sore after a year. So am thinking this is a permanent problem for me. I cannot use that side of my mouth as before.

Dr. Kwon and her staff have treated me with respect and TLC. Having had serious problems with dentists in the past so I went to her expecting more of the same. I cannot speak any more highly of her and her husband with the care I received. They have done everything to make me feel comfortable. The office staff is top notch and my nerves were calmed from my first initial visit. I have had dentures in the top of my mouth for over 25 years. With the exception of the initial dentist who removed my teeth and fitted my denture, I have never been able to find a dentist to fit me comfortably and correctly. My top denture is so good I forget I have a denture there. After my extractions om October 2, I was fitted with new bottom dentures. My bottom dentures are going to be just as good after the swelling in my gums has subsided. I have been seeing Dr. Kwon almost on a weekly basis making slight adjustments for my comfort. I know my bottom plate, with a little time, will be just as comfortable as my top plate. If you have had unsatisfactory experiences with dentist in the past, you deserve to make Dr. Kwon your new dentist. I wish I had known about her sooner. Her office was a little hard to find the 1st time I went. She is actually in a plaza, behind the Veterinary office. They keep saying they will have an office member call me back with the dentist on the line, but everyday I call at 4:30 pm and the next office member checks their "notes" and says oops okay I'll have the next girl call you tomorrow. Some things that made this the best experience: I was able to schedule online which was convenient since I found them on a Sunday night. I scheduled a new patient appointment at 5pm so no work was missed. They are following all covid precautions and it felt safe. The kids waiting area kept my 3 year old busy and was pretty cool with their iPad section. The staff was all excellent, very professional and caring. Jackie did my sons X-rays and she was so friendly and caring. Dr Reddy is a great dentist and made my son feel very comfortable and not scared at all. He explained everything and made this an easy visit. They offer payment plans so I wasn't overwhelmed with all the work that had to be done. Even though I looked so ugly as if filming ' Mr. Bean', opening my mouth twitching, showing inside my mouth, drooling water in front of dental hygienists, doctors assistants, and the doctor with Medical Surgical Dental Headband Binocular Loupes with Head Light 2.5x, I've been relieved because he said "your problems not a big deal. You'd make an appointment next Monday early in the morning, and today I will give you a prescription with tyrenol". On Monday I got all the treatments he mentioned and am fully restored, clean and fresh, no pain, no worries. He is young like summer grapes, green, flawless, fresh in field of Texas. She's the best! Denise is a master at what she does. She makes scheduling, referrals, insurance verification very easy. She even helped me narrow down which high tech toothbrush bundle to buy from them. She knows her stuff!! I am being referred out to get my wisdom teeth removed then I will be ready for Invisalign and I'm very excited to embark on that journey with Parkwood Dental!
