That being said, I had a great experience with Summit Dental Group. Everyone did a great job with the new COVID-19 regulations and I felt very safe and clean. The dental hygienist was very personal and lowered my dentist anxiety. My dentist was Dr. Jeff Batesole. He was extremely thorough with his examination and screened for any other health concerns. He took pictures of a couple of teeth that could be a problem later and explained his clinical expertise. I was very impressed with his knowledge and diligence throughout my experience. The waiting area was clean and each room was private with a large television with Xfinity playing on it. I went in to get 3 teeth extracted from the back of my mouth, and the dentist was so quick, that when he was done I made sure he hadn't made a mistake and had taken care of each issue, which he had done. They numbed me up well, so I felt no pain, just some pressure, which is to be expected. I will happily go back to this dentist's office anytime I need help.

Their prices are normal/fair and typical, and they do offer a small discount for paying by check, as that saves them the credit card fee, which helps. All the stuff about ability aside, it is a very restful and peaceful office. They take their time with you. No one is rushed or grumpy. The staff knows what they are doing and seem to be a cut above. People are kind and caring. They are also that way about scheduling so I don't have a take it or leave it feeling, they work with us to find what works for our schedule. They are excellent with people who fear the dentist, those with sensitive mouths, and children. They make kids welcome and feel safe. Ours now look forward to seeing the dentist. Even if they don't always like the procedures, they know the office and professional staff care about their well being and will take the time to help them manage, and that is the same for the four adults in our family who go there. Several of the dentists also teach and mentor, which to me, shows they are at the top of their game. My boyfriend and I were enjoying dinner when I heard a weird crunching noise. He had chipped his tooth... at 4:53 pm... on July 3rd! It was a nightmare! We called every dentist office in Fort Wayne. I showed up and didn't have to wait long. They fitted me with a temporary crown and sent in a casting for a new permanent one. I was able to enjoy my Christmas dinner with no problems. Had an appointment within 2 weeks to install the permanent crown. Very pleased with it. And Brandi was able to work with my insurance to get me the best cost.
