I could not go to Crew (my preferred car wash) with my new car due to my brush guard. So when Prime stated they could wash my car I was elated. After a few car washes I decided to subscribe to the unlimited package. Needless to say when I subscribed it was in the winter and I was not checking after going thru each time. Fast fwd to spring and I am disgusted by the job this car wash does. Upon complaining the mgr proceeds to tell us that he could let us go thru again. I told him he's not "letting"me do anything as I pay for the unlimited package. He also stated that it is an express car wash. Like that was an excuse for the poor quality of service that was done. I was a regular monthly member of this Prime Car Wash location at 96th & Michigan Rd. in Carmel. Unfortunately, the right mirror was recently knocked off of my BMW X3. I was told it was my fault for not folding in the mirrors before entering the wash. I've never done that before a car wash; nor have I noticed others folding in their car mirrors. Despite the video which had to have shown the mirror was intact before entering, and dangling after the car wash, they did not cover the damage. I was told there is a sign posted that states you must fold in your mirrors; but have never been alerted to this by an attendant. My son worked at Crew Car Wash in college; and said they would have made this right, due to their excellent customer service. Most pathetic car wash I've ever had. The wash barely had any brushes and little to no drying, but I purchased the $22 interior along with the $22 elite wash so I thought it would be taken care of. My car wasn't dirty mostly pollen on it so it was clean they didn't dry off the entire car and barley swept the driver side it was awful. A very nice man pulled out a shop vac with an ext cord to re-vacuum the car and dried the car off. It was minimally wiped down inside. They were not busy there were only 2 cars people were standing around everywhere. The only positive was the employees were pleasant and the windows were done well. I will never go back if I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I recently visited Prime Car Wash, and it was an absolute disaster. While my car was being washed, my rooftop antenna was damaged, and I was shocked by how they handled it afterward. After filling out an incident report and discussing the matter with the General Manager, they claimed they were not liable for the damage. I decided to escalate the issue and spoke with Brian the COO, who had a completely different story. To my disbelief, the story he shared with me was completely different saying my car was already damaged before entering the car wash, but when I asked to review the footage, I was denied access. It felt like they were hiding something, especially since my personal property was damaged. The lack of accountability and transparency is appalling. If you value your vehicle and want a reliable car wash experience, I strongly recommend staying away from Prime Car Wash. They clearly do not take responsibility for their actions. Save your time and money! I am not sure which is worse my car being damaged or the fact that their leadership team can't get on the same page and provide transparency to their customers. Are we talking about the same Prime Car Wash? I'm surprised to see such a slew of negative reviews. My mom spoke highly of this place after multiple positive experiences, so I checked it out, too - and I'm impressed! It was busy on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but the hardworking staff hustled to meet the demand. I was surprised to see how many employees they had working. The customer service made this experience better than any previous car wash experience for me, from the gentleman who greeted me to the staff member who directed me how to pull into the car wash. He literally had a smile on his face the whole time and gave me thumbs up. I opted for the $39 Elite Wash which includes interior detailing plus floor mats. The whole process took about 45 minutes but they have a great indoor waiting area featuring a mini convenience store with water, snacks and small accessories for your car. It looks like members get free Starbucks coffee, too. Or, you can wait outside on the small patio area. Overall, I found this to be a pleasant experience and worth the money. I suppose if you are a car aficionado and expect absolute perfection, this isn't the interior detailing service for you. But my car was sparkling by the time I left Prime Car Wash. I had a coupon from Kroger (back of the receipt!) for a full service interior/exterior clean. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating. My car was sprayed thoroughly by another attendant and then I entered the tunnel of fun (as I like to refer to it)! I exited, and entered the interior cleaning garage, for lack of a better term. This part could have been a little more clear, I wasn't sure I was in the correct lane. Apparently I was, and a kind worker escorted me out of my car to the interior waiting area which was very clean and comfortable with plenty of seats and refreshments. I wasn't able to determine what items (if any?) were complimentary because the signage wasn't clear, so I chose to sit and wait. Fortunately my car was cleaned within 15 mins so I was able to tip accordingly and off I went. Honestly, I was pleased with my service. Was it expertly detailed? No, but I also paid for the basic clean...which is exactly what I received. I'll come back when in the area. read more

This was such a nice place when it opened. If my memory serves me, Prime carwash hasn't been around in this location for that long. Unfortunately, both the facilities and the service have declined significantly. On today's visit, I opted for the 360 wash, which covers both the outside and the inside of the vehicle. When the exterior was was complete, I turned my car over to the service staff for the interior cleaning. I noticed that several people who had come in after me were being called to collect their finished vehicle, while I continued to wait. I happened to gaze outside to discover that my car had been left, engine running and unattended with two of the four doors sitting open. When I inquired about the status of my vehicle, the desk agent and the maintenance tech told me "I don't know why it's sitting there." It is, however, the nature of their jobs to know. It turns out that my vehicle had been completely forgotten. Had I not inquired, I might still be sitting and waiting for it to be returned. I'm also disappointed to say that my vehicle was not thoroughly or satisfactorily cleaned. While $25 is not exorbitant, I do expect to receive the service I have invested in. I had to come home and re-clean several missed areas. Overall, this is not an experience I care to or plan to repeat. read more

Service has gone down. You tend to wait on someone to greet you outside. Once they come out they want to shift you to different lanes and are not sure who is next sometimes. For $49/month you would expect better service. Your car is barely sprayed down AND lately the dont spray the right side of the car. It's like it doesn't exist or need any form of attention as the rest of the car. In the first year of opening things were good. Now I'm left speechless. I've had these thoughts for a while however today I couldn't let another mediocre services go by without saying anything. This business needs attention or it will not have me as a customer anymore. Out of all the places in the city, I really like Prime the best. There are several options for memberships and I opted for the $49 membership last year and so far so good. That tier provides me with the option a either a 180 or 360, both unlimited. The 180 is just washing my car on the outside and wiping in down. The 360 involves vacuuming out my car plus everything from the 180. There's plenty of seating and usually it's not that long of a wait. There's free wifi, TV's, outdoor seating, and snacks (for a price of course). One thing I do have an issue with is sometimes, when my car is wiped down smears are left or there's still water on top of my car that the high powered dryers just don't dry. So when I pull off there's water dripping down sometimes defeating the purpose of the employees wiping down my car. read more

I paid $140 for my carpet to be shampooed and my seats to be deep cleaned. I was told my car was ready and when I went out they didn't even clean the seats. I was then told there was a "mix up" with another customer's service. I waited another 40 minutes just for my seats to come out looking like this. (pictures are below) the overall wait time was and hour and 30 minutes for what you'll see below. They look worse than before. I then realized they did not put my personal belongings back in my car so I had to go back anyways. I asked for a refund and the GM said that was not going to happen since they did the services and I was given coupons . The coupons that were not even close to the price of one service. But both services are not completed how they should have been. :( read more

Came to try out this car wash mid March. Attendant talked me into signing up for the unlimited wash because they were running a promotion for the month allowing you to get as many washes as you wanted. Was told that I would get an email confirming my account. Attendant told me that I would be able to cancel service before I was billed if I changed my mind. I never got an email and this morning was charged almost $120 for a service that I never used. When I stopped by Prime to get this fixed I was told that service could be cancelled but I would not be refunded because I signed up . I explained that I was never given an opportunity to cancel as I was told at the time of signup. Couldn't talk to anyone else about it and the assistant GM didn't seem to care as all he did was repeat the fact that I signed up. I will NEVER bring any of my vehicles to this car wash again! I was mislead in order for someone to fill some kind of signup quota. Horrible business practices and customer service. read more

I have tried not to review, since reviews would be horrible and I make attempts at avoiding negative reviews unless they are so egregious I have no choice. The Prime Car Wash on Michigan Road is awful! I have been going there since the day it opened, mostly out of desperation or when Crew is so busy. Today was the last straw, I ended up wiping down my car myself, doing the windows to remove water spots and bug debris from traveling, I paid extra for interior cleaning and ended up cleaning the interior myself. I have complained ad nauseum, to be told they will do better next time. The crew even put my car mats in backwards, which normally would be impossible because the model name and logo are prevalent, not at Prime! Never again, I have become a loyal Crew customer. read more

This was my first and last visit to Prime Car Wash! What a waste of money!! I specifically asked when I pulled up whether paying $22 for an interior clean would include cleaning the insides of the windows and was told it does. Not so much!! When I started on my way home I realized the windows were no better than before I got there! Other than vacuuming the inside carpet, nothing had been done on the inside. When I got home and began to clean the inside of the windows myself, which were filthy, I realized that the hatch area of my car had not been touched. the area that probably needed it the most! One thing I'm not terribly fond of in this area are the car washes. I think they are WAY overpriced for what they deliver. I basically paid $35 for what I paid $199 for today, when I lived in Vegas. When I first moved here, I went to Crew. They were ok, but they'd leave all kinds of watermarks on the car. I started coming here because they actually wipe down the car and shine the wheels/tires afterwards. I try to get my vehicle fully detailed about once a year, usually after Winter. I opted for their best package for $199 today. And it looks nice, but when I got it out in the sun, there were still watermarks on it in places, they didn't clean near the license plate. The interior was beautiful, but this is NOT worth anywhere near $199. I will still come here for basic washes, but there's no way I'm paying $199 for the rip off I got today. read more

I paid $120 for hand wash and interior cleaning for my Tesla Model Y. The bugs were still on front bumper, tires were not shined, the back of the driver's seat still has my kids footprints, the cup holders weren't cleaned, front windshield inside has a film on it blinding me when driving in the sun, AND on top of a TERRIBLE job they deeply scratched my center console plastic where the backseat air vents are. The supervisor at least did the tires, cleaned out the cup holders, and got the bugs off the front bumper. He filed a claim and I was told the GM would contact me, but now 4 days later I guess I have to go the store and follow up on getting the damage they did to my car fixed. read more

I went prime car wash on Michigan Road and it was my first time going to a prime and I was looking to get the inside of my car done because my kids had dropped stuff while in the car and when I got back to my car it wasn't vacuumed out very well at all I had to go back three times and asked to go to wipe this wipe that fix that it was terrible the experience was horrible. When you pay that kind of money for service you shouldn't have to tell them to wipe this or that The manager should be ashamed themselves for hiring people that are terrible at their job better to get rid of them and hire people that want to work and be accountable and take pride in what they do read more

I love visiting Prime. It's one of the few car washes where your car is wiped dry after the wash. I enjoy this feature because the other washes around the city always leave me with streaky water spots after I'm finished. The offer wash packages (interior and exterior), and the biggest plus is that there's always a Groupon available for around $27 for an interior wash package of 3. I've never had a bad experience, always received kindly, and never left with a streaky car once finished. I haven't tried the interior wash on my car, but I have had it done on our truck and it has always looked very nice. I'll continue bringing my business here. read more

Tip: if you need some groceries or a salad for lunch, stop by the Marsh just north of here. The back of the receipt offers a $10 car wash, which I gladly used! They offer a more full-service experience than most car wash places (membership, interior dash wipe off, etc.). I visited after work on a Monday and had to wait a little while even though only a few cars were in line. Maybe this means it scrubbed my car reallllly well. Paid for the elite interior and exterior wash which came up to around $42/$44 and noticed that there weren't any soaps or cleaning agents behind dispensed as I rode threw em the wash. it finally started dispensing a small amount of soap at about 3/4 of the wash. So i parked my vehicle at the interior cleaning station and went inside the lobby. I told one of the tents about my concerns off the soap not being dispensed during my wash. He stated that the soap dispenser had recently been refill and that an employee may hadn't did it right. so after they finished with the interior and wiping down if the outside. I noticed a significant amount of scratches on the passenger side of hood of my vehicle. i spoke with the manger who was pretty cool about it and he had me file a claim. i was told i would be receiving a phone call sometime during the next for days or so. Never received a call so i went back up there in person a week later. So the manger that day went to check on the status of my claim and after doing so he came back and explained that an email sent denying the claim. (Interior and exterior) They offer a service for $25, but the associate acted like they barely clean the interior at that point, so I went with the $40 option. Terrible car wash. They had to be instructed to finish drying my vehicle. We paid extra for the dash and seat conditioning and the pictures attached show what a horrific job they did.
