How we found Burger & Beyond was from my fiancé's YouTube research on the best burger in London…read more Burger & Beyond was consistently mentioned as the best, so we gave it a run for its money. Final verdict? I only ate burgers one my entire trip at London, and it was at Burger & Beyond, but I can confidently say that it was one of the best burgers I've EVER had. I made a reservation for lunch at 12pm on a Wednesday. We ended up showing up 15 minutes past our reservation time due to delays on the Tube, but one of staff members was chill and had no problem with us arriving late. In general, customer service was amazing. Our server was friendly. Not as attentive, but that's what I expected at this point having been in Europe for 3 weeks. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner as well. Burger & Beyond has a lunch special by which a burger and chips were 10 Pounds. I got the Bougie Burger (single patty, double cheese, marrow mayo, steak sauce 2.0, and beef onions), and it was excellent. If I had to nit pick anything, it would've been nice if the bun was toasted. My fiancé got the Bacon Butter burger, and he was blown away by his as well. Sidenote: the best fries I've had in my 3 week trip in Europe was neither from Paris nor Brussels but in London at Beyond & Burger. Golden and crispy goodness.

Love a good burger from Five Guys and have completely stopped bothering with the nearby GBK now…read morethat I can just get a burger exactly the way I want it without the complications of sitting down in a real restaurant. Small hamburger, small fries and a drink is more than enough for one person IMO. I have only finished a small fries and burger on one occasion and yet to replicate that success. I think two burgers and 1 fries is enough for two. They overfill the fries so you get a cup of fries plus a giant scoop dumped into the bag. Soft drinks are free fill and the drinks machine is an insane monster of combinations. All kinds of flavours you remember from your childhood, world travels or just remember from that weird dream you once had about Coca Cola. Service is a little slower than regular fast food joints but that's because everything is made to order. No big deal, reminds me of In n Out burger but tastes much better. The people who work here are always great to deal with too so that's a bonus. I took a star off because I can't stand how loudly they blast the music. Having a conversation is nearly impossible. It also just stresses me the F out after already being traumatised in the shopping mall (shopping is stressful!) The music isn't bad but I just wish they'd turn it down.

The burgers are honestly the best burgers I've ever had and it is actually my favourite Five Guys…read morerestaurant to go to but where this specific restaurant loses its points is for its customer service, the staff are neither welcoming nor disrespectful but Five Guys usually praises itself on its amazing and friendly crew members and the way they handle customers.

Overall Trinity Buoy Wharf seems much more cluttered, every inch is covered in shipping containers converted into workspace with cars parked where there was a lovely open space. The art installations now look quite forlorn between the cars. But back to Fat Boy's, a very apt name for a diner serving almost exclusively deep fried dishes. Not really what we were after on one of the hottest day of this hottest summer in human memory. But they also have air con which made them win over the Orchard Cafe on this occasion. We had a smoothie each (not sure how fresh these were, tasted like canned juice blended with crushed ice) and shared a haloumi wrap - a welcome pit stop to tide us over.

My friend Jimmy and I *finally* came here to fulfill a quest for a diner blueberry pie that started LONG ago after a brush with "My Blueberry Nights" and this incident: http://tinyurl.com/yd9cess . And while we *knew* Fat Boys had the pie, it took us a year and his acquisition of a car (mainly his acquisition of a car) before we made it ALLLLLL the way out to the far flung wharf on which this chrome plated trailer restaurant sits. As we got closer to our destination, we were a bit leery of our industrial surroundings and heading into the dodgy alley that precedes Fat Boys we couldn't help but think: "Umm??? Was this really such a great idea?? How do we know this place is still even open?? After all, WHO comes here??? WHERE ARE WE???" But once we arrived, it was *totally* worth it. Okay, so inside it was freezing cold. Okay, so they were out of malt. Okay, so they probably should NOT have carved through that rock hard avocado and charged me 75p extra for the pleasure of picking it off my veggie burger. Okay, so they only had one slice of blueberry pie left (and it was a rather nondescript, soggy, too-long-frozen pie - so actually, we were lucky they only had one) BUT we still liked the place. I mean, isn't all the above what you sort of expect of a retro diner experience?? Really, you're here for the atmosphere: the individual jukeboxes on the tables, the retro vinyl stools, the appropriate plastic kitsch everywhere, the soda fountain drinks, the jump jive music, the fact that you've successfully been transported to another era. If you have a car (or want to spend a fortune on cab fare) I HIGHLY recommend that you make the trek out here for a singular and fun dining experience (hey... the filmmakers of "Sliding Doors" did...). And if you do, tell them that eccentric blonde girl/chinese guy duo sent you (they'll know who you're talking about). Maybe even order the Blueberry Pie - just to say you did.

It was very crowded as this is also a night life spot. Down stairs you have tables to lounge chit chat and eat. You have to go to the bar area to order drinks and food. The menu is very minimal not many options think in n out outside Cali. I ordered a double cheeseburger without bacon grilled onions and chipotle mayo and truffle fries . The patties very large juicy and greasy as one could imagine. However, just good no over barring flavor definitely greasy. The fries were delightful just the right amount of parm and truffle. After eating I decided to make the most of my entry and go upstairs to dance. Please note the restroom area is very small I believe three stalls but enclosure is crampeD. Upstairs was vibey, Dj played a mixture of American tunes , 90s rap and UK beats. I would recommend this place for a burger and/or nightlife

I do think this is one of the best burgers I've had in London…read more Lucky Chip burgers are served at the Old Queen's Head pub on Essex Road. The menu is fun, the burgers arrive quickly. Aged beef patty with pickle, ketchup and mustard. Had the cheeseburger with proper melty American cheese which really is the best for burgers. Good bun too that holds together. The burgers are cooked medium and I mean a proper pink medium, not just browned on the edges verging on raw in the middle which some other places are doing. The taste and overall experience is right up there and everything is just right, especially the beef patty itself which was perfection. Decent fries too. Coleslaw was good enough but not the highlight here. Been there twice. Consistently good each time and with reasonable prices and great service it adds up to a top rating from me.
