A neighbor had recommended Fenix. About a year ago a representative came to our house to give an estimate. He brought samples and measured the area and was quite thorough in his explanation and recommendations. We decided on one of the products but had to hold off installation because we were having other work done in the backyard that could have damaged a new turf. Finally the yard was done almost a year later and we contacted Fenix. Their prices had gone up only 10 cents a square foot but they honored our original bid. Installation was scheduled a couple of weeks later. A week before the install we received an email with the site prep, warranty, care instructions, and other useful information. They offer a discount if you pay by cash or check. On installation day they arrived close to 8 a.m. and apologized for being late as it was foggy in Sacramento and dangerous driving. The crew immediately got to work, first capping off the irrigation that watered the former grass lawn and then digging out the dirt and roots. They uncovered a couple of drainage pipes that we weren't aware of and cleaned them out and reset them to be operational under the turf. They accidentally cut some irrigation pipes and quickly repaired them. Once the job was finished they cleaned up our backyard, even on the side of the yard they weren't working in. The new artificial turf looks wonderful. We highly recommend Fenix if you are considering artificial turf for your yard.

So we decided to finally put the finishing touches to our front yard. We debated on whether to put…read morenatural grass or artificial turf, and we decided to go with artificial turf for a couple of reasons: First, we live in CA, and the mismanagement of water resources has caused the price of water to skyrocket. Secondly, a lot of the current turf looks very realistic and resembles natural grass. Third, I wouldn't have to mow the lawn anymore!! We put out the feelers on Sunday night at 8:30 pm, not expecting to get a reply until Monday morning, but Jacob from Verdigrass responded within 10 minutes! I, along with the wife was impressed by the quick response so we scheduled an estimate with Jacob for Wednesday. Jacob was very accommodating with my work schedule and actually came to my house by 8:00 am. Since Jacob was coming from Vallejo, I knew it was a long distance and he would have to leave very early in the morning, so again, we were impressed. My meeting with Jacob went very well. Since this was my first experience with artificial turf, I had a bunch of questions, which Jacob answered fully. It was also very helpful that he had several samples that I could see and feel. After getting my quote, which came in much lower than another company. We decided to go with Verdigrass due to the experience we had thus far with Jacob. Communication with Jacob was stellar, and he was able to schedule the job for Saturday morning. The material was dropped off on Friday, and Jacob's crew, headed by Juan, arrived at 0730 am, a half hour earlier than the 0800 am start Jacob had mentioned. The crew was efficient and highly knowledgeable and had the job done in approximately 5.5 hours! We could not be happier with our experience with Jacob, Juan and Verdigrass. Now we just have to save up enough money to do the backyard!

They installed the turf in a single piece as I asked and it looks flawless. The edges, the cutouts around the 2'x2' stepping stone make it look like the turf is growing next to the stone. The estimate was provided professionally and Jacob answered all my questions to allow me to make a good informed decision. Oswaldo and team installed it to perfection. Highly recommended!

Update review: 1 year after our backyard's artificial grass and putting greens installation in…read moreDanville CA area - The BEST decision we have ever made - Jeff Rosellini and Chris - Phone: 510-776-8077 We had our backyard done last year by Jeff and Chris and a year after, we are even more in love with what Jeff and Chris have done. Our 2 doggies are very happy with the yard and also, it makes cleaning up after them easier for us. Things I love about Jeff and Chris: 1. They are small business owners so they take care of everything from the beginning to the end. By cutting out the overhead costs, they saved us so much money and also, being able to work closely with us on the design and finish product. We got quotes from 5 different companies and Jeff's quote was on the lower end and he provided very valuable feedbacks from the design point of view. He's a talented artist who really loves what he does. Chris is a golf player so together, they designed and delivered the most stunning and player friendly putting greens. 2. There are many artificial grass companies out there but no one can beat Jeff and Chris when it comes putting greens and the round edges of the lawn. We got rid of all of the ugly plastic borders which need replacement with time. 3. Jeff and Chris and their crew were extremely respectful of our home and our pets during the long and hot installation process. We trusted them completely and after a while, it felt like having family members working on our home. 4. They put a lot of time and effort on building a very solid ground before putting the grass on. Our home is next to an empty lot and a creek and therefore, moles and gophers are frequent (unwanted) guests. But with a very solid ground, our yard still looks the exact same a year before: stunning and resort-like. 5. Jeff is an old-school gentleman: said what he meant and meant what he said and it's very nice to be able to find someone like that these days.... 6. It's a big investment but for the long term, it's all worth it, cost wise, especially with the water shortage. We were very fortunate to have found Jeff and Chris and hope their talents will be known in our community. Everyone who has seen our backyard had the same feeling: it's a resort-like and it melt away all of our stress. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to see our backyard or if you have any question. Note: we take 0 commission advertising for Jeff and Chris. We just wanted to support hard-working small business owners who have such talent and hearts as Jeff and Chris do.....
