As many of you know, furniture is a long-term investment, and the shopping experience should come with attentive, knowledgeable staff who help guide you through that process. One employee made eye contact and immediately turned away, and as we continued browsing--essentially left to "prospect" on our own--there was little effort to engage or assist us. On our way out, another staff member offered a brief hello but never followed up to ask if we needed help. When you're making a significant purchase like furniture, customer service matters just as much as the product. Sadly, this visit left us feeling overlooked rather than valued. We later found our couch at another location and will receive it in 30 to 60 days due to the customization we requested. We are happy to have found a place that truly understood what we were looking for our home.

Anthony's first priority is to provide the best "product" possible to his customers. We have been very happy with all the projects he has done: * Built a 120 ft beautiful block retaining wall with a metal railing that will probably last longer than our house * Tore out our lower deck and built a larger trek deck in its place, installed a metal railing, rebuilt the stair on the other side of the deck and reinstalled our hot tub! * Built a 20' x 18' attached, permitted shop * Turned an ugly storage room into a beautiful office * Built railroad tie stairway with a landing on both sides of our house and placed 10 huge rocks just where I wanted them. Put down landscape fabric and mulch. I appreciate that Anthony critically thinks through the projects, researches new products or construction solutions, and talks to vendors to obtain detailed information. He communicates well with city and county people and clients. Anthony and his crew are creative, and at times, artistic in their work. We loved our home before we found Anthony. I like their homes, the designs, and some of the stated costs. I bought one, but be warned or wiser than I was.. When it comes time to sign the contracts, they will have added several thousand dollars in charges, and call it their "gold key service", which is basically their way of raising the price without having to tell you upfront the real cost of the home. Also, realize they can take however long they want to actually build your home. They may provide you with a guess but, if it takes them 2 years to complete, you really have no recourse but to just sit and wait, no matter how much that costs you. And just because your home has been constructed, dont be fooled into thinking its almost over...they can also take however long they want to deliver your home....could be months, while it sits completed in a yard waiting, and of course you'll never be provided with ANY updates or commitments of any kind from them regarding when you're new home will arrive and how many months it will take them to complete the on site work once your home finally does arrive....again, that can also easily take several more months. If you have any questions or problems, or request any kind of commitment you wont get it, and you'll often hear no response or someone telling you...um no, you need to contact this person or that department, I dont handle that. Had I to do it all over again, I probably wouldn't use them...its just not worth dealing with a company that operates like its the 1800's....there are so many other manufacturers that actually do a much better and more responsible job. My home has been sitting for well over 5 weeks, after being delivered, with absolutely nothing being done to complete it, and I have not received any response or reply to countless emails and phone calls.

I had purchased a lock, only to discover when I opened it that it had been previously used and the keys were missing. I completed the customer survey, gave my honest feedback, and mentioned that I would be returning to the store since I had driven an hour and a half. When I arrived, the first associate I spoke with, Daisy, immediately asked if I had spoken with her manager because they had already seen my survey and were expecting me. She was kind and made me feel welcomed. Assistant Manager Robert sincerely apologized and asked me to pick out another lock while they took care of everything. Before I even made it down the aisle, I heard someone calling, " Ma'am!" I turned around, and it was Ben, the Store Manager. He introduced himself, personally apologized, and told me that my experience was unacceptable. What impressed me most was not the replacement lock--it was that he treated me like a person. Ben had read my survey, informed his staff to watch for my arrival, and personally wanted to apologize. We had a genuine conversation, not just a business transaction. He acknowledged the inconvenience of my hour-and-a-half drive back to the store, walked with me to customer service, and made sure everything was handled. I received a full refund for the original lock, and Ben only charged me one dollar for the new lock I selected. While that gesture was incredibly generous, this experience was never about the money. It was about the kindness, empathy, respect, and genuine human connection he showed me. In a world where it is easy to complain when things go wrong, it is just as important to recognize people who go above and beyond to make things right. Thank you, Daisy, Robert, and especially Ben, for reminding me what true customer service looks like. Lowe's is fortunate to have leaders and employees like you representing the company. I hope this recognition reaches the district and corporate level because this team deserves to be celebrated.

This groomer came to my apartment and gave my doggo the best grooming she's ever had. He gave her a great haircut, a teeth brushing, a nail trim, treated her dry paws, and two shampoos.
