He rescheduled twice, then showed up at 7:00PM the day he was supposed to do the job. He showed up with his girlfriend and his 20 year old economy car with the trunk stuffed full of tools. He is not personable at all and I suspect may have a few "issues." I let him do his thing because I had a tenant ready to move in. When I arrived the next day it looked like a 3rd grader finger painted the sink and tub then threw sand in it. Shawn stated that he could't control the dirt that blew out from under the sink faucet when he sprayed. Well, that was his first shot at insulting my intelligence. Yes you can, you blow it out with a blow nozzle first. After promising to fix it and sand and buff the tub he made it look "OK." However, before re-caulking and replacing the drains he insisted to be paid. I told him to finish the job! He did what he needed to do and I was glad to get rid of him and not have to deal with this crackhead. Well, 10 months later and the sink is cracking out and 3/4 of the tub finish has peeled off and my tenants have to keep their kids from eating the acrylic chips when they bathe them! I attempted to contact Shawn several times and no response. I am hiring a different company to fix his mess. The only way Davis Brothers obtained a a 5.0 rating is obviously through fraud.

It was going to be a massive project that would take about eight weeks and completely turn our home upside down. Thankfully, we decided to get another opinion and called Kevin. Instead of jumping straight into a huge demolition, he carefully investigated the issue, opened the walls where it actually made sense, and discovered that the leak was not from the old sink leak at all like the restoration company believed. At the time I was also moving and I realized that they do moving as well so I hired them for that project as well. Both projects went flawlessly. These guys do great work. The gazebo was installed with concrete footings and placed exactly where I needed it to go (my HOA cares a lot about exact placement.) They were flexible to my moving needs and willing to make an extra stop (some of my stuff was at my old place, some was at a storage unit.) Fast forward a year and I ended up needing to move again. These guys really went above and beyond. The move went long and they stayed laser focused on getting the job done and getting it done the right way. Even after the sun set they were faithfully seeing it through to completion. One thing I'd like to mention is that during the move they don't necessarily know when I'm within earshot in the next room. I consistently overheard their conversations which were genuine discussions on the best way to move things that would result in the lowest risk to damage furniture or the houses. That isn't theater, that is a true dedication to the craft. They were discussing the best way to do the job right - which was rarely the easiest way.
