Great customer service! Greeted with a warm welcome and answered all my questions. In and out in…read morerecord time. Highly recommend!

I gave 1 star because i couldn't 0 stars! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER…read moreSERVICE I had major surgery last week & in changing my bandages, realized i developed a a rash where the outer bandages touched my skin. I reached out to 2 of my doctors & requested prescriptions. I then contacted CVS & was assured they would contact me when the scripts were filled. That was 5 days ago & no one called, emailed or texted I went in to pick-up the scripts (both doctors assured me they approved the requests) and today's experience at this CVS location illustrated the height of INCOMPETENCE! I was told i would require a pharmacist consultation, yet there was no pharmacist on duty with whom to consult. I explained i had surgery one week prior, was in a lot of pain with 4 incisions & 2 drain tubes and questioned why a consult was necessary for skin ointments & how long i would be required to wait. I asked Corina if it would be 1 minute or 10 minutes and she indicated, "5 minutes." Well, after waiting for over 15 minutes with no sign of a pharmacist, i asked why i was lied to. Apparently the fact that i was in pain after surgery was not acknowledged or taken into consideration. Pathetic! 20 minutes after i first entered the pharmacy, the pharmacist finally arrived. No apology. He asks if he can help me. Not one employee stepped up to get my medication prescriptions ready for this 'invaluable' consultation & to add insult to injury, only 1 of the scripts required a consult; so i could have gotten one and not had to sit and wait for the other. The pharmacist asked if i would be using both ointments on the same area, to which i replied, "no." Mind you, if this was such an important question that forced me to wait for a non-existant consultation, someone could have called the doctors' offices and verified such when the scripts were called in. Not only would i NOT recommend this pharmacy to anyone, but i plan on having all my scripts transferred to a location that is not incompetent! Not one person in that pharmacy acted with compassion, empathy or was able to provide any iota of customer service. SHAME ON ALL OF THEM!

Since writing this review, I have moved to another state. Upon returning for a visit I discovered…read moreParker's has been purchased by an out-of-town owner. It is now called Wood's. The pharmacy and grocery staff seem to be mostly the same people, but I cannot state how well the store is now run. What I wrote previously: Number one - Parker's is the only locally owned grocery and pharmacy in Warrensburg. The owners are active in their community, doing their best to benefit the area. I support locally owned businesses if I can justify doing so. Parker's has earned my loyalty. The prices are not always the lowest; they may not always be favorably compared to prices at WalMart and BiLo and Aldi's. However, they work hard to cover all the basics and then add carefully selected additional items they know their townspeople want. Watch for sales, as usual. Heck, if you ask about any specific item you cannot locate, they find a way to begin stocking it. Their produce is likely obtained from the same sources other area grocers use, but they must be choosing the higher quality. I have never gotten inferior quality from them and I have from other places in town. I can almost guarantee they would bend over backwards to make things right if ever I was dissatisfied. They have real butchers who will cut as you desire or grind things up as you desire and probably can do more than I've thought of asking for! If a checkout line is more than 2 customers long they call for reinforcements! You cannot find THAT at the other markets. They own their own pharmacy too. You get personalized attention from a very highly qualified staff. Big ticket help in a small town is a great combination. Just about any discounts you would receive at the "big boys" of pharmacy can also be found at Parkers; they are extremely competitive. On top of all that, they have packed a tremendous amount of variety and standards into their cozy alcoholic beverage section. You will find the usual liquors, wine and beer, plus many specialty local offerings. Parker's is a great resource for local wines as well as regional wines from other countries. They also carry a very diverse selection of micro-brewed finds, many of which can be purchased as individual components to a "build your own 6-pack". That is rare in a town this small. To summarize, Parker's can satisfy your needs while making you feel appreciated. They seem to work hard at making you feel they want your business. The Julie person
