I've always enjoyed my visits to this thrift shop and I was excited to hear that they had expanded by taking over the shop next to them, becoming one larger shop. I grabbed a cart and found a few great little household things, but then experienced extreme sticker shock in the clothing section. Nearly $30 for a pair of used Lululemon leggings. Almost $20 for used Torrid shirts. My goodness. I'm all for supporting local, however, those prices are higher than any other thrift shop I've ever been to. That might work in high end consignment shops; just not in a neighborhood thrift store. The household items were priced mostly good, but the clothes - even Shein, way overpriced. My heart sank a little as this will keep me from visiting very often. I can get the same brands at the Salvation Army down the road for a fraction less, even new with tags sometimes. Please rethink the pricing. read more

I have enjoyed shopping here for two+years, great variety, friendly staff, very well organized. Four stars because on my last visit I was browsing bath towels for pool goers, was very surprised to see they were priced $6-8, that seems excessive for a very used standard bath towel? I found them for $3 at another thrift. Hopefully it was an over sight. read more

I have throughly enjoyed my visit each time I come here. The staff always makes a point to say hello and they even comment on my good finds! I bought a pretty good amount of my holiday decor here for pretty great prices when I just moved into my own place and didnt own any decor. They have a huge selection of items and my favorite spots to hit are the birthday cards, home decor and dinnerware/plates/cups! I'm DVD guy, they had maybe a couple hundred to look through, nothing for me today. I walked in 20 minutes before closing, I was browsing and they said 7 different times they are closing. I still had 7 minutes left and I said I actually have a little bit more time and they said oh have a good night. Then as soon as I left out the store I hear the door greater say... Yay!!! I was looking at a couple of items, a wall decor for $9 and a Christmas ornament for $9. Super expensive but I liked them so I figured I'd ask if there was a sale on them. The girl at the front was super rude and told me to look at the sale board. I said I had looked at it but I wasn't sure if these applied. She said they didn't, I said ok then. I started walking away and she said, "so nothing" with bad attitude and I said no thanks and she rolled her eyes. Her attitude sucks. I used to shop here once every two weeks. Not anymore! The prices are way over the top. The only half way decent prices are SOME children's clothes and stuffed animals. Everything else $5-$20 up for used and donated clothing. That's too much. They seem to have all new employees. I liked the people who worked here last year better. The straw that broke the camels back was the soft soap they priced at $10.99 Walmart has 2 packs for $28.00 currently. I laughed and walk to not return since end of January. this used to be my favorite thrift spot and I have almost always been willing to set aside the very poor and down right rude customer service experiences i have had at this store due to the fact that they really do have great items sometimes. however after my experience today Im not sure I would ever return. The manager was extremely condescending (not my first encounter with this woman) when I asked if there was a place I could set a large item I intended on purchasing while I continued to browse, she told me I could go outside and grab a cart, well there weren't any left which is okay I just decided to only buy that item and would come back another day to browse, while waiting in line behind a woman and her young daughter a clearly intoxicated very aggressive man walked into the store and began to berate myself and the young girl in front of me while the two women at the register completely disregarded the situation in front of them. I was extremely uncomfortable and borderline freaked out but really wanted to purchase my item and as I was the second person in line i figured it should not take long.. the girl at the register finished helping the customer in front of me and then proceeded to walk to the back of the store while I stood there by myself with this man now continuing to make sexual advances at me while another worker stood and watched, about 5 minutes passed before that worker asked if the girl that walked away was already helping me. I checked out and was overcharged for an item that was listed at a lower price and just left without saying anything because I was already so uncomfortable. read more

Very nicely organized, have a big selection for being a small store. I love that they showcase the current holiday/season at the front of the entrance. Best spot for collectibles and tchotchkes of the local thrifts. Also stocks furniture that's snazzier than what the other thrifts seem to get. I find their clothing selection too "curated" to work for me. Donations require ringing the bell at the back, and sometimes they will unpredictably be unable to take donations. I find this one a lot of fun to browse, as long as I'm hoping to run across something small and quirky. Staff is lovely. read more

Our wonderful experience at this store: after trying several thrift and furniture stores, we finally found the exact size and shape we needed for a shelf but it was not for sale and used for display. This used to be one of the better thrift stores in Modesto. While I enjoy going to browse and purchasing used items, I can barely afford to shop here as they have raised the prices so much they are truly living up to their name. Ladies, these are used items. When you are charging more for a Dollar tree item than Dollar tree itself it shows that this store is not about helping people in the community, it is about how greedy you all have become. The people running this store need to rethink who they are serving and start pricing accordingly. read more

This thrift store was a favorite of ours. We are thrifters at heart for more reasons than a bargain. These past few trips we have seen prices jump so much! It is sad, what they charge is nearly what you can buy new. Today, I brought home some children games. To our surprise we bought a puzzle for $1.29 that would have cost me $1 at target! I was very disappointed in the level of disrespectful behavior by the manager, Brechtje. She had different policies and levels of service for different customers. It is shameful that she doesn't provide the same service to all of her customers. The multiple other times I have visited I have had great service, but not today. The other two ladies that were working the counter were helpful and courteous. I am downright disappointed at the discrimination I faced at this store. Please know there are many excellent thrift stores in town with helpful and kind employees. I encourage you to patronize those stores. read more

Arrived at the store at 4:52 knowing that they closed at 5:00 and when I opened the door a lady said we are closing. My daughter dropped off some items we had set aside for donation. When she got there the staff member was irritated that the items hadn't been sorted. She felt awkward and just apologized. I was at work at the time and was disappointed by how my teen daughter was treated. In addition an item that wasn't meant for donation accidentally got dropped off. When I got home from work I realized the mistake. My daughter called immediately to let them know, and asked if she could retrieve the item. Whomever answer the phone was rude and unwilling to help. My daughter went down to the shop to inquire further. She was again met with a rude and unhelpful staff. She had to get upset before anyone was willing to check the back for her. Not that difficult of a task as the items had just been donated a few hours before. This is typically my favorite Thrift Store in the area...... but after this experience it will be awhile before I return if ever. I definitely will be giving my donations to someone else! read more

UPDATE: I am changing my review from 4 to 2 because of an unfortunate experience I've had here. The workers here act like they don't wanna be there or are sound rude when you ask for something. I ignore and just ship usually. I went to priceless treasures with my family this time. I ALWAYS look at their jewelry section and the staff is well aware that im a frequent customer. As soon as I walked in, a woman and her daughter were starting at me and they preceedto keep glancing at me while I was looking at the jewelry. (I have a darker complexion). They have jewelry on stands on top of a counter which makes it seem like you can just pick what you want. I picked up a ring, visibly put it in my cart and left to other sections. I came back to put the ring back because I decide I didn't want it. I asked the worker if I could look at other jewelry in a case to which he replied "sure, but where is the ring at?" I pointed directly to where it was and he replied "i don't mean to make you feel bad but some ladies told me you had it". While I was shopping, they told the worker that I "took" the ring when it was obviously in my cart. I come here so often that I felt they shouldn't have even believed that I took it. Will never come back because I fear they might accuse me of something. read more

I really enjoy this thrift shop and have spent plenty of money there. I find a lot of good things. They have regular sales on items, otherwise some stuff is a little over priced. It is well organized also. As of late i am disappointed with management telling me i have to wear a mask while i rummage through used dirty items. Favorite little thrift store. My family and I have a tradition of an allotted amount of money spent at second hand stores for XMas gifts for each other. And this place helps domestic abuse victims and shelters. So I usually go here to buy. Plus I donate to them. Most second hand stores only have allotted times or days to donate. And some even turn away things once their bins are full. But this place has never turned anything I've brought, away. I've never had any problems with the workers either, sometimes they're a little quiet, but that's okay. But after coming to this store half a dozen times and spending over $100 I can say I will NOT be returning solely because of the employees. Xmas eve I called hoping they still had the Precious Moments dolls that I saw a month ago, it's been a tough year and I lost my cousin (who was like a sister)to cancer and she collected the figures and I collect dolls, what a better way to remember her. Prices used to be pretty decent, there were definitely some items marked up but most stuff was regular price. Now they want almost $70 for a pair of vintage Sorel boots. I overheard a woman I assume was the manager say something about how much a platter was going for on eBay, so makes sense why some stuff was so jacked up. I also saw pair of Doc Martens marked up to $50. Cabi tapestry jacket marked up to $125, the exact same one sold on eBay for only $30. Cue the hard eye rolling.
