I recently purchased a car from Priced Right Auto and I am extremely unhappy with how things have gone. Since buying the car, I have already had to bring it in for repairs four times, all for the exact same issue. My car needed a Subaru specific O2 sensor, but the dealership installed an aftermarket part that kept failing. If they sell Subarus, they should know how to repair them properly the first time. Each time I was forced to drive two hours there and two hours back, which is exhausting and completely unreasonable for a car I just purchased. One of the latest fixes only took 20 minutes and easily could have been handled locally, but instead I wasted an entire day driving back and forth yet again. Between all of these trips I have put about 1,200 unnecessary miles on my car, spent over $250 in gas, and now need another oil change and new oil filter because of it. Michael, the salesman, was great to work with and very kind, but that does not make up for the fact that this car has had repeated issues and the way they have been handled has been extremely disappointing. I expected reliability and accountability when buying from a dealership, not constant repairs, added expenses, and wasted time. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

As a recently 'homeless veteran', I've spent the past 5 years, trying to work myself out of that situation. Unfortunately, my truck broke down, and I needed a cheap vehicle, just to keep me to and from work. I budgeted myself for around $5k, and found a vehicle that was 5,500, it wasn't too far out of my range, and I called to express my interest in it. But for some reason, that vehicle wasn't available, and was immediately upsold a different vehicle, that was around 7k. I really didn't want to spend that much, I have too many other financial obligations, but it was only about 2,000 over my budget, and figured it might take a couple of months more, so I'd have to put everything else on hold. When it came time to sign the papers, I noticed that same $7,000 was now $9,000. When I asked about the reason I was told it was a 'service contract'... a fancy name for a 'warrantee'. I don't need a 'warrantee' of $2000 for a used high-mileage 'as is' vehicle that has a Blue Book value of around $5,500. When I said that I really couldn't afford that, I was told 'well, it's just another $2000', and apparently THAT was the end of the conversation. No one asked me if I wanted a 'service contract', and I damned sure can't afford it. If the vehicle has more that $2000 worth of repairs, then I'll just go get another used vehicle. Even when I indicated that I didn't want it, it was still applied, as if someone who is working their way out of being homeless, has an extra 2000 to just hand out, because something 'thinks' they deserve it. My original goal was no more than $5000, turns out, I'm now expected to pay DOUBLE that amount. A scam is a scam. I probably should have refused the deal completely when it was clear that I was being scammed. I'll never do business with this company again. read more

Called ahead to see if a car was available- Spoke with Pat who told me it was and he'd have it waiting at the front for me when I arrived. Great! I pick up my child from daycare and start my 40 minute drive to see said car. When I arrive on the lot and it's not in the front, and no one walks outside to greet me. Weird. I wander around and eventually find the car. Go inside to request a test drive only to find out was not drivable. read more

Came in to buy a car from Patrick at the Marne location that I had found on the Carfax app. Vehicle had been in an accident, and had minor scrapes and a small dent. Also had some paint missing in spots where decals were removed from vehicle. I had asked for repair on both of these before I purchased. On purchase day, found vehicle had paint touched up very poorly over all areas. No effort was made to fix the dent, and the paint job looked like a kindergartner did it. When I asked about repairing it correctly, they stated that it was too late because I had already signed the paperwork for purchase, and that I could work something out with their body shop in Nunica. Salesman, Patrick states that he had touched up the paint himself. Patrick stated, "Yeah, our body shop here isn't great. The Nunica location is better. We make more money in repairs here than sales." Explained that I had lived over an hour away, and the Nunica location was an even further drive. Gave me a coupon for $100 service, but made no effort to repair it correctly. When I took the car to a mechanic to get an estimate on repairs, found the tires to have 2/32 tread, which is near illegal to drive. Also, the car was vacuumed, but there was dirt and dog hair everywhere, and definitely not cleaned well. (Lesson learned to take it to a mechanic before purchase!). I would definitely not recommend purchasing a vehicle or having repairs completed here. Worst experience I've ever had with a "car dealer". read more

Priced Right Auto - Poorly slapped on paint - Car Dealers Near Me - Marne, Michigan

Would highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking to buy or just have some service done. The decor evokes a bygone era with old antique toy cars and signage and so does the way they do business. Not sure what other issues people had in these reviews but I've dealt with car places for decades and this has been the best experience I've ever had. We paid under 7k sticker on an older van. We didn't make anyone's month or probably even week when we walked out the door with a car. The old van we got started to have some malfunctioning of a door from an electrical panel getting wet about a week after we took it home. They fixed it at no charge to us and it wasn't because we complained or threw a tantrum. They wanted us to be happy with the purchase even though it wasn't a big sale. We will absolutely go back there for service and look there any time we look to purchase because of our experience. Side note: the waiting room is stocked with kids play table and loads of things to keep the kids busy. read more

But they weren't willing to spend a whole $125... then she takes it to the car wash a couple days later and the side trim on the door that they stuck back on with double stick tape, flew off at the touch free car wash. Had to have the body shop reattach it properly. Avoid this shady dealer, they don't Inspect or fix anything, and won't honor their online advertised price even with photo proof of their price from their website. Seemed indifferent about it, like they didn't even care through the whole process. I sent my wife to a dealer bc I was sick of the shady people on marketplace. This place was no different. Do not recommend having vehicles serviced here. Took vehicle in for diagnostic and service. Authorized service recommended by sales tech and the noise was still present when driving off the lot. 0 STAR ESTABLISHMENT! Spent around 16k on an Escalade which seemed to be an awesome deal. They gave me a 3 month warranty. My vehicle had some weird grinding going on in which I had brought the vehicle in on 3 separate occasions. Was told time and time again that everything was fine. I do not believe they even inspected the vehicle like they so claimed. Just so happens I bring my vehicle into the Cadillac dealership where I got the lowdown. It was real convienent for them to put off my vehicle until those 90 days were done. The grinding was the front differential which had to be replaced. Tow compressor was shot. Gas tank had to be replaced. Brake lines were gone. The list goes on and on and on. Just so happens this scumbucket of a dealership refused to fix any of the problems out of there own pocket. I was however able to get them to cover the labor for installing the new differential. The warranties are a scam. There mechanic could not put new headlights into a vehicle. It is a family run joint. The father has prepped both his son and daughter into the lives of shady dealers. False promises and fake inspections. All of these vehicles are bought from auction and thrown right onto the lot. I doubt there is any so called inspection. Being as this is the case go to some auctions yourself. Actually stay the fuck away from this place! Trust me , thousands later...... read more

This was the first used vehicle I had bought from this kind of seller, and boy was it a disappointing experience. I bought a 2012 Honda Odyssey that had high miles, purchased their in-house engine warranty for 1K. First off, I bought the vehicle in the fall, didn't bother to check to see if the AC worked. Of course it didn't in the Spring, so I had them fix it and paid the bill without arguing. Then realized the DVD and CD players didn't work, bugged them to fix it each time I brought it in for an oil change, they always had an excuse to not get to it. I finally fixed it somewhere else for $800 bucks. Then something happened with the pistons/spark plugs, which "wasn't related to" the engine warranty. That was another $600 dollars. Finally, after the timing belt broke and ruined the engine, they noted it was 24,000 miles out of warranty, and I was "not bringing it in for oil changes in a timely fashion" anyway. They wanted nothing to do with me after that. The place looks really nice and the one sales guy is super cool, but I would tread lightly in dealing with them. They are slippery. read more

Called at 10:00 in the morning and spoke with Scott Williams about a vehicle that has been on their lot for 2 months about its availability. Was told it was still for sale. Drove from Battle Creek (after having a tire issue) and arrived at 3pm (about an 1 1/2 drive). Was greeted by Scott and told that (and this is how it went): "um I can't remember what the mechanic said was wrong. It was either the transmission or the engine, I can't remember". Car fax listed this car as having no accidents, 2 previous owners and 27 service reports (2004 model) He said car fax doesn't have everything but C'mon if it has that many listed service repairs I believe them. He says he tried to call but I had ZERO calls from them (even double checked that I had given them the right number, I had). He made NO effort to find out while I was in his office, nor did he even suggest another vehicle I might've interested in. I had CASH In HAND for this vehicle! I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or maybe he's just lazy but I would NEVER recommend this place. Pretty surprising because they got good reviews on google maps. I test drove a few trucks off there lot. They asked if we found anything wrong with them after our drive. We let them know two of the dash vent covers were broke on one of the trucks but nothing major. I did test drive another truck at a different dealer, then went back to Priced Right there vehicles were nicer for the price. Holly did a great job getting me taken care of quickly and explaining all my options. I have had a few questions on the truck after driving it for a few weeks. I just called or emailed Holly about them. She has been great at getting back to me. They also called me and replaced the vent cover that we told them about from the test drive. I will definitely check out there selection first before I go any where else when I am back in the market for another vehicle. read more

Another used car dealer, proceed with caution. I went there because they had 2 cars I was interested in trying, my husband wished I had tried something closer to home. CarGurus had the cars listed at a fair price; Autotrader said the same cars were a good price. They were at the high end of the KBB price. No negotiation; their gimmick is that they buy from out of state auctions low mileage cars and have certified mechanics on staff that go over the cars and make sure they are in good running condition before sold. We were first told not much done to the car, then when we wanted to negotiate suddenly they put more into it than expected and were only making $200. Showed me a computer screen with the supposed invoice amount and costs put into it. The salesman hit us on a good night as I had been shopping for a month and was just ready to be done. We picked the car up later in the week. When I got off the freeway to head home I noticed a bad clanging in the right front engine area. We had heard a similar sound when we test drove it but only a couple times and it stopped; we had mentioned it to the salesman but he just looked like he couldn't believe it and had no idea what we were talking about. My husband thought it might be a plastic flap rattling after crawling under the car; after all it was a Honda and we were banking on their reputation, not the car dealer. After a sleepless night worrying I bought a lemon and that we would have to drive it back across the state my husband took it to Belle Tire. The mechanic there found something loose in the front end that needed tightening; surprised the certified mechanics at Priced Right didn't find this. Do they even test drive their cars? Going down a bumpy road the clanging is there; would think you would question it if trying to sell it. Thank you to Belle Tire for quickly fixing our problem for free. Hopefully nothing else crops up. I give them 3 stars because Holly was very nice when helping us go through the financing, Anthony was nice, but a true used car salesman. We got a nice car at a fair deal, can't say it was great when I had to problem solve and fix a problem in the first 24 hours of owning it. If you shop here, do your research first and live close enough you can take the car to your own mechanic for a once over on the car before you purchase. read more

Chris understood our situation and was able to find us a great rate given his relationships with lenders. Chris and his team were very helpful but we were not able to get them to fix a belt they had previously promised to fix for us. They told us to come in anytime and we did just that, to then be told that they didn't have time for us. Ironically, this was after all paperwork was signed. I thought I bought a car on 2-10-15 from Chis and Holly- it was all good sweet talk until big issues came up with their processing paper work and one VERY BAD $ 6900 DOLLAR CAR. Couldn't believe how patient and accommodating they were. I was having a terrible time deciding between a couple vehicles, and they let me take them on long (once overnight) tests and to a mechanic I knew. Then I ended up with a whole different vehicle they had on the lot. Chris is very helpful and clearly knew the business. Even after I had made a purchase he helped me track down the previous maintenance records.
