One of the gentlemen that work for the complex makes himself available to help any time he sees one of my older neighbors struggling with her groceries, helping her get them to the top floor. There's even a story about how the handymen helped one of the residents when the resident had an accident: They drove her out to the wrecked car (at the junker by this point) so that she could get her belongings out of it! What place do you know of that treats their residents like that? It's like you're a part of the family! Every problem we've had (and to be fair we've had a few) has been addressed quickly and once. We haven't had to call back for the same problem twice. I highly recommend living at the Windsor Hills Apartments. We'll be moving out of state some time early next year, so there will be at least one opening but probably not many!

I lived here a few years and paid my rent a week before it was due by check and they would lose my checks even though the payment was taken from my account and would have to fight the office to remove the late fees every other month. My daughter leased an apartment for a year and, upon move-out, returned the unit in the same condition as when leased. Three months after her tenancy ended, the apartment management company ("The Hub") issued $500 in charges for petty things that are part of regular wear and tear. For example, they charged us for Water Stains and Routine cleaning when we gave the apartment back in original condition and spent too many hours cleaning it. No one ever did any inspection while moving in and moving out and HUB is a big company and doing such an unprofessional job is completely un acceptable. They should do that so that we understand before moving in and we can compare once we are moving out. We filed a formal complaint to have these charges removed, providing evidence of the apartment's condition. However, the administration has been unfair to our dispute and is compelling us to pay. Consequently, this has also led to an impact on my credit score, which is a big deal to me now. If you plan to use Hub be very careful as in any case you would be at a disadvantage once you leave. I would NEVER recommend going to Hub and getting into these hassles.

We found them both to be very personable, responsive, and ultimately, quite fair. As a military family who has moved dozens of times we have always found it helpful to carefully document physical conditions of the residence at move-in (photos, descriptive narratives/captions) and turn this in to the Landlord. Then leave the place cleaner at move-out than when you moved in. Alight will charge residents for damages (in our case, a stained bedroom carpet) but management was responsive and polite when we requested a photograph of the damage. The cost was fair. We were also charged for leaving several trashbags near the front door of the apartment, which maintenance had to remove to a dumpster that was less than 100 feet away. Also, fair charge for this because the bags created an obstruction to safe egress in case of an emergency. Respectful engagements with the staff have always been met with respectful assistance in return. I hired professional cleaners, and the lamp was left by accident. $25 to walk it to the trash, that was 5 yards away. ALSO if you move and they lose your contact info, if you have a debt like that $25- they will GARNISH your wages before sending to collections- which means an added $250 to pay for their legal fees.
